While they did not have what I was looking for, the employee that asked if I needed help directed me to a local store that may have it! He was very kind and welcoming and encouraged me to tour the garden which I did! G A R D E N It's large and super varied in plants and had many sculptures that were available for purchase too. There was even a small pond with koi fish! A very peaceful quiet place to enjoy nature, go for a walk, read a book on the various benches and tables in the garden, or hang out with a friend. I can definitely see why it's such a popular venue for weddings. Parking is very easy with a relatively spacious lot. It's handicap friendly. The GPS instructions were accurate. Be sure to check out their social media or call their number to stay up to date on weekend closures for private events before visiting. The wedding season is around March to November. Communication for event space rentals is by email only. During the wedding season they may a little slower to reply but they always did reply eventually. For weddings they tend to book out about two years in advance for weekends. If you ask about Fridays there may be some same year availability. As a non-profit they are a relatively affordable venue. Weddings require almost full day rentals. But something else like a baby shower or memorial can be rented out by the hour with a minimum time. They require a permit to be purchased for professional photos. But it's a modest price and goes to a good cause. It's $75/hour for the photo permit and for a garden use permit like a small gathering it's $300. Walnut Creek is lucky to have such a beautiful gem. I highly recommend checking them out!

Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, making the entire experience feel truly special. Denise & staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our guests felt welcomed, especially by carefully accommodating our gluten-free guests' dietary needs while still maintaining the same level of quality, presentation, and delicious flavors. It was amazing to see that no detail was overlooked. The tea, food, and overall experience were wonderful, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how lovely everything was. The bride truly felt celebrated like a princess, like she was in her own little fairytale. Thank you Denise for helping us create such a memorable day. Your attention to detail, hospitality, and dedication made this bridal shower unforgettable. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host a beautiful and meaningful celebration!

I attended a bridal shower where she created an unnecessary scene by yelling at two guests over their children's seating arrangements. It made everyone uncomfortable and took away from what should have been a joyful celebration. Throughout the event, every reasonable request was met with resistance, as she repeatedly insisted having things her way rather than trying to accommodate the guests. As the owner of an event venue, creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing good customer service should be a priority. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this venue.

Looks a little outdated but you can decorate your self and work with the caterers you hired for your event. Service was top notch they cleared our dishes . I asked for a spoon for my desert ice cream bite and received it right away. My cell phone network was sketchy but I asked for the WiFi password and the employee took a picture of it somewhere and shared it fast as he could. The service and my cousins engagement made the night one to remember. There is a separate room where children can play or people who want to talk far from the DJ dance floor noise. The art caricaturist was as well and the Photo Booth made the memories last for a lifetime . I hundred 100% recommend Pleasant Hill Community Center for any type of event. 5/5 first impression is solid perfection!
