Rubian, I hired you to help with a problem that I am not qualified to solve. YOU were the one who was supposed to know how to fix it, so don't blame me if I can't figure out how to do YOUR job. So i fired Rubian's ugly bald head and hired a new accountant. The new accountant solved the problem in a matter of hours and charged me a fraction of what Rubian had charged to not even solve the problem. I came on Yelp today specifically to give this review of Rubian (even though we worked together years ago). The guy's inept and rude.

Upon driving up you can't help but notice that their building is HUGE! It's as big as a Costco! Tons of trailers were docked getting filled up by the many volunteers. They even had a Amazon trailer at the loading/unloading dock. There were approximately 30+ volunteers. We all gathered at the picnic tables inside the warehouse. Coffee, Tea, and snacks were provided - nice touch. We all worked together to load many boxes of food that were sent on a rolling conveyor belt with volunteers all along it. I was a team of 2 that stacked the boxes on multiple pallets before a forklift driver whisked them away. It was so awesome to be apart of. If you ever have a chance to volunteer please do so.

I was looking for a baby kitten, and thankfully I found exactly the little cat I was hoping for. The adoption process was easy and smooth, and you can really tell how much the staff cares about the animals. The cats are very well treated, and the conditions they are kept in are excellent. Everything was clean, organized, and the animals looked healthy, happy, and loved. Thank you to everyone at Joybound People & Pets for all the care and dedication you give to these animals. So we were really concerned about how she would settle in a new environment, and we're trying to rehome the dog I went to Joybound a few weeks ago to ask if there was any chance they take back their animals in these circumstances. The woman at the welcome desk was so helpful explaining yes they do. She walked me thru the process to fill out the forms online They got back to my friend promptly to setup an appointment for a behavior assessment and vet evaluation. We had our appointment yesterday at 2. We arrived a half hour early so we wouldn't be rushed , and to help Lily stay as calm as possible. Everyone we encountered was delightful and so kind. No judgements- Lily came alive with tail wags and enthusiasm to be back at such a supportive rescue group. She was just basking in the attention and love. She passed her behavior test with flying colors. We were told she most likely will be going to a foster home first for a few weeks before she's available for adoption. We were told we can follow her online with her name, and see when she becomes available and she won't be on the website anymore once she finds her next loving home. Thank you Joybound for standing behind your animals and supporting families We also did not have to pay a surrender fee. We were encouraged to take our time and enjoy complementary coffee or tea, also offered a box of tissues We were already pulling out of the parking lot before our scheduled appointment time Can't think you enough for your kindness all around this hard experience

Once I was married & we had complicated things to add, we made sure to go to Viet. I used to get to make an appointment with him in person & he answered any & all of my questions, before I filed. But sadly COVID hit & things changed to online. My husband & I have changed careers several times since 2022, & we had a baby, so there are several things to add into your taxes. This year, we spent over $15k in medical expenses, had our first child, & hoped we would get some kind of a tax refund. But unfortunately that didn't happen. When I asked about adding money to our IRAs, or why we didn't get to file itemized, or how else we can reduce our tax bracket, we were told it was a "paid question that required a paid appointment". Anyway, I think you can get your own taxes done for free or less than you're charged by this guy. He can't help you with basic questions without requiring money so... stay aware & ask questions!

I was a bit nervous about teaching 20 second graders for an entire day, but have also always…read morethought how teaching sounds kinda fun so I thought why not? JA does an incredible job preparing you for your day. There is a booklet with DETAILED instructions along with props for activities. It does take a while to read through everything plus you want to sort of memorize most of it so you're not just reading from a book the whole day. There were super fun stuff like "making" donuts, but there were also moments like when I was explaining "brainstorming" when I saw a glazed look over 40 eyeballs. Nonetheless, it was a really fun day and the kids are so awesome. I was lucky enough to have a co-teacher so that made things a lot easier. We also spaced out the lessons/activities with games like simon says and a super competitive game of musical chairs. It's also good to ask the teacher beforehand if there are tricks like how to get them all to be quiet and listen (our class was this clappy thing). Highly recommend this volunteer project though you'll need to take a day off from work for doing it, but it's a great experience!!!
