Afterward you are given a T-shirt and I was given a gift card of my choice . They offered water and snacks but I'm staying away from junk food . Supper nice people and it's a pleasure to donate . I remembered when my husband needed a blood transfusion and someone donated or sold their blood. I also heard it's healthy to donate I'm not sure how true this is.

Today I tried again and the nurse told me to go out and when I came back she told me that I was disqualified because I WAS LATE FOR 2 MINUTES. This made me feel very uncomfortable and gave me the impression that I was already being stereotyped. Shortly after, she came back and told me that the position had already been filled by internal candidates. If that was the case, I don't understand why I was asked to come in for an interview in the first place. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and disappointing. I was genuinely interested in working with CSL Plasma and expected a more respectful and organized hiring process. In my opinion, if this is the way they treat candidates at this location, I really don't want to see how they treat donors. Find another place!
