My one and only visit with Dr. Treisman was 12/2019. He was affable, friendly, and professional…read more When a test result indicated I should be seen by him before the next scheduled appointment, the appointment was scheduled. No prior mention was made that I would not be seen by him, instead of seeing the doctor, I was seen by a nurse. I have NOTHING against nurses, but when I have an appointment to see a doctor, I should see the doctor and not someone with a lot less training and/or experience. The next two scheduled appointments were canceled without notification or opportunity to reset. They claim they called, but I have downloaded my phone carrier's logs for those time frames and they show no calls from this or any other medical practice. None! And there was no email messages or messages in the MYChart website. None. In May, 2020 they started sending me a bill for a copayment that was made before service was rendered. I have responded repeatedly, even sending a copy of the receipt they gave me for the copayment. The office staff treat these issues as though they are some sort of joke. I don't know if it's because of my age, skin color, or gender, or they are just on some sort of power trip, but I decided I'd never go back there and leave it at that. Today I received a call, not from their phone number, demanding I call their office. No explanation, just an irate voice making the demand. And, yes, it was recorded. Considering previous treatment and, now this call, which seems to be some form of harassment, I feel I have no option but to review the practice based on my experiences. All claims in this review are supported and documented including phone logs, recordings, and electronic messages from MYChart.

What a pleasant surpise!…read more Last summer I developed allergies. Yes, allergies at thirty-two years old. Sometime in August, I started having issues with my ears. It hurt my ears to talk, and I was foggy when speaking and hearing. Also, shrill and bassy noises actually hurt my eardrums. I played through the pain for a while but then decided to see the doctor. My normal physician couldn't tell what was wrong and gave me a array of things to deal with my ear pain. However, the symptoms didn't go away. I decided to take a different route and try the Take Care Clinic, located in the Walgreens on Howdershell. The nurse practitioner got to me right away. There's really nowhere for her to go, since it's just a little room in the Walgreens. So she didn't run in and out like a doctor, which I thought was great. She just sat in there with me and discussed my symptoms. What she did do that my doctor didn't was check my eyes for allergies, and that's when my recovery began! The nurse practitioner prescribed me some knock-off Flonase and Zyrtec, and within a few days, I was feeling so much better. I haven't been back to my primary doctor since. I haven't give up on him, but the convenience of the Take Care Clinic lead me to try out the Gravois location yesterday.

I have been feeling sick for the past 4 days and it has been getting worse rather than better. I am a pharmacist at a hospital and see patients regularly so I thought it would be worth $25 to get a flu swab to make sure I wasn't putting any of my patients or co-workers in harms way by continuing to go to work sick. The medical assistant was extremely rude to me. When I first walked into the examination room she said what's going on? I told her I had been having some bad cold symptoms that really weren't getting better. She then proceeded to interrupt my explanation and stated, "So what are looking for here? Over the counter meds or antibiotics?" I answered, "No, I honestly just wanted a flu swab." She said, "Well let me check your temperature because if you don't have a fever it's not the flu." She told me my temperature was normal and that she was sure it wasn't the flu. I then told her, "Well if you're not going to do anything for me I can just go." She said no and that the doctor would still see me. The doctor saw me and I explained my situation and symptoms and he gladly ordered a flu swab. The medical assistant then came back in with the flu swab and stated, "Oh so you just KNOW you have the flu, huh?" I told her, "No, I don't know, but I thought it would be worth it to check." I have never been so disrespected by another healthcare professional and I can't believe the way she talks down to patients who already don't feel well. In the future, I would rather pay $50 and go to an out of network urgent care than come back here and possibly see this same medical assistant.

Finally I got an appt with Dr. Dekyi at this loc. I came from the city in heavy rain. GPS sent me the wrong direction on Lindbergh. I was told I could not be seen, and would have to reschedule. I was told that I had been speaking with their answering service and they shouldn't have told me to come. I was literally in tears. I had waited months for my appt, still couldn't get my rx refilled, traveled in the rain for miles, gotten turned around - I didn't expect BJC to be in a strip-mall next to Family Dollar and IMOS, and finally refused service. I couldn't image a Doc treating his patients or potential patients this way. I will never ever recommend this place or return.

Mammograms This can…read morebe a very sensitive topic and a scary one quite frankly. I utilized this facilities imaging lab for my mammogram for this year! The check in process was a little odd meaning the patient registration clerks took a little longer than normal to check me in. Their explanation was "it's a new system" totally understandable. The waiting area was clean and kind of chilly! There was a TV for your entertainment. The wait was not long at all, then the technician called me back. This part right here, is the best part! That technician was amazing! Did you hear that? Totally amazing!! She was very professional, and addressed me by my last name. She was kind, compassionate, caring, and totally gentle. I felt so comfortable and I definitely felt like I was in good hands. The tech shared that she has been doing this for many years, it was very obvious from her mannerisms, and the way she conducted her self on the machine and professionally. She guided me through the process, kept me informed, gave great instructions, and I couldn't be more pleased! I received a survey concerning her and my visit later, I did not hesitate to provide the highest scoring possible. Some important takeaways: Although I was on Christian Northwest's campus my mammogram was booked through Washington University. In case you are interested in going there. There was not a co-pay or any cost due to it being a preventative service for my annual . The last thing if you're wondering, no, it did not hurt!! Now keep in mind, pain tolerance varies per person and our tomatoes are all different sizes but it did not hurt!

By the way-she spent no time at my inital visit explaining what pellets she was going to give me and what they did. It was only after having complications that I really started doing my own research and wanted more bioidentical options. I had no idea my question about altering my treatment would be so offensive to Dr. Maupin. I guess I should not be surprised since there is not as much profit in creams and other forms of hormone replacement. I have no problem spending money-I just wanted more tailored options for my healthcare. My advice is RUN AWAY! Any practitioner who will only offer options that make her money despite not necessarily being FDA approved and no options for tailoring care has no business being in healthcare. BioBalance is not about helping women. It is all about the bottom line. If I could give BioBalance health and Dr. Maupin a zero rating I would not have offered the one star. They do not deserve it.

I ended up being 8 in line. I was then moved up to number 9 in line and stayed at there for quite some time. Once I showed as 2 in line, i headed to their location. I wasn't seen until about 10:20am. Once in a room, i sat in there for about 20-30 minutes before anyone came in to acknowledge me. I got my vitals taken, and was told the provider would be in shortly. The provider came in about 20 minutes later, did an exam and said they were going to run an EKG. A gentleman popped his head through the door and asked did i give a specimen a moment ago. That specimen was provided when i arrived to the facility and i was told to leave it on the counter( with no identifying information on it). That seemed quite odd, being that another patient could've left a specimen, and they could have easily gotten mixed up. Another tech came in to do the EKG, then proceeded to tell me she was hooking up an IV. I wasn't told i was getting an IV. I like to know all of the services in getting from the provider, not the Tech. The tech stated I would be getting fluids. Once she left out the room, no one came back to the room until 20-30 minutes later to ask if i had my fluids. Fluids free flowed for about 1.5 hours. My husband had to go into the hallway to tell the tech that my fluids were done and that my IV was back flowing blood into the line. The tech came in and unhooked me, but proceeded to say the IV has to stay in until the provider comes back to see me. The provider came and said labs were fine, she was writing prescriptions, and discharging me. Another 20-30 minutes passed and I just told my husband to go ahead and go to the car. Maybe them seeing him leave out the room would speed up them bringing me discharge papers. It definitely did the trick. I was on sight at this location from 9:30am-1:40pm. I will NEVER come back to this location.

Let me start from the beginning! The anesthesiologist, Chris he was phenomenal. Listen to me the entire time and really tried to help. Chris also went above and beyond after our Baby was born, taking tons of photos on my husband's phone for us since I was out of it to capture the moment. The day I was admitted, they told me my two-year-old could stay the night but then when I switched rooms I was told we were misinformed and no kids under 16 could stay. So we had completely changed last minute with an hour left of visitation which resulted in me having to stay overnight by myself without my husband helping therefore I only got two hours of sleep. Frustrating getting different pieces of information. Dietary was a nightmare they consistently messed up our worse, forgot food and would have to bring up another tray, which would take another 15 minutes at a time. We are waiting over 45 minutes for food. One of the nurses made a comment that's where they get their lowest ratings is from dietary. The nurse had eight students with her and offered if we wanted to get some rest. One of the students would watch our daughter, which was very kind. Apparently they don't have a nursery so that you can rest even after c sections there's not an option. They also don't offer pacifiers unless your baby is in a lot of distress. The nurse told me just to go home and grab one. The real amazing nurses were Becky, who was my second night nurse, Jackie, my second night nurse. The scrub nurse Alie and my other nurse Tori were incredible the entire time I cannot brag about them enough. They helped me watch her so I could sleep on my second night. They got my pain under control that you're seriously went above and beyond.
