It's okay. Nothing was terrible. But it's nothing special, either. It's a place where you can get a compently executed burger with fries or onion rings and some craft beer, if that is your thing. It happens to not be my thing, but that doesn't change the fact that they are quite acceptable at what they do. It doesn't give a great value for your money, but it is not outside the norm of the value given by other local eateries. My menu advice? Steer clear of the Caesar salad. It's not quite what you've come to expect from all the other Caesar salads you've ever known. read more

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I am so glad this new spot has come to Macon. I have already been here twice since it has opened up. It has an excellent "hipster" feel inside the place with awesome food (mainly burgers that comes with TONS of fries). The beer is excellent too and the system they have down for ordering is very simple. They have a lot of staff in duty so food is delivered quickly and there is always someone around if you need anything or need a question answered. read more

Downtowns first brewpub with awesome food in a historic building. I took the corner seat at the bar to take in the scene. The best combination of old & industrial meets clean & modern in Macon! I was here for the grand opening ribbon cutting and had two great beers and a burger I could barely finish. The Float Daze amber ale paired nicely with the Blaze of Glory burger. Great biergarten-style seating. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Call me the Terminator 'cause I'll be back! read more

The hospitality in this town doesn't stop. And this place certainly has lived up to the hype. Try flights, best way to taste everything they offer and remember how you got home. The truffle fries are amazing and one of the best amber ales I've ever tasted. Float Haze is the name and you'll be happy you tried it. read more

Best veggie burger in town! Also love their pub sauce with fries and their buffalo chicken bites. We bring many groups here because they are incredibly accommodating and the beer is excellent! read more

Very friendly staff! Clean and comfortable. Nice environment. DELICIOUS beer. Great food with big portions of fries. Will definitely be coming back again and again. read more

Stopped in on our way to Savannah,GA. Awesome place with a cool atmosphere, great service, and good food! My hubby and I ordered salads as we were just passing through and needed something light. Summer and Caesar were both delish!! I ordered the beer sampler. Only complaint is the IPA wasn't as hoppy as I prefer. Everyone was friendly, if we lived closer we would probably become regulars! For being open for less than 2 weeks, these folks are off to a great start! read more

Bruh, this place is straight fire ! The burgers are absolutely deluxe and delicious! Hit up any burger with a side of Truffle Fries and your day/night will automatically be lit. Also, I like a beer after I eat because the beverages are so supreme I treat it like a dessert. Try it for yourself and you'll know what I mean read more

So delicious. The prices weren't too outrageous, and the food was so good. We didn't try any of their alcohol (we're all under age), but it looked like the people who had theirs really enjoyed it with their burger or chicken sandwich. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone near by! read more

I enjoyed my veggie burger. The Chipotle mayo on it is great! I recommend this burger! It's very homemade. Vegans note that there is some cheese in the burger itself. The service was great. The decor and space is really cool. Its an open, airy feel, with lots of natural light. The seating is all benches, so if one of your party needs or wants to lean back, there are a couple of tables against the wall. I'm a vegetarian, and love indulging in an occasional [veggie] burger and fries. These fries were good, but they tasted like they were cooked in some very meaty-tasting oil. I theorize that most customers of a brewpub are going to be meat eaters, and would not be concerned about this. But to the veg-heads out there, avoid the fries. I found that pretty unpleasant. read more

Awesome beer and amazing cheese curds. If you are in the downtown area, I highly recommend stopping in here for a couple of beers. Only food I've had is the cheese curds but would 10/10 recommend those! Seemed to have a wide variety of beer, so everybody in our party could find something they liked. They had a delicious chocolate coffee Scottish ale and Wit Beer. Friendly staff, great crowd, would definitely return. read more

Excellent food. Fresh and tasty. Worth the stop as we were passing through. Will definitely do it again. Beer is awesome and staff are friendly. read more

Great selection of craft beer. You can try a sample before you buy. If not sure get a flight of beer. Burgers and salads are the best downtown!!! read more

New spot opened in downtown Macon. First, the complaints that drop my review to three stars. Brewpub opened about 5 months after it was supposed to, going hand in hand with that fact is that out of the six in house brews only one (their stout) was available for consumption when we were there, about a week after they opened. All their beers will be available by January 2, 2017 and they have six rotating guest beers at all times too. The next reason I drop them to three stars is there is no table service, you want a beer, go to the one and only bar in the space with tap handles, want food, go to the order area in the back. This method of service is very disjointed and annoying as a customer. The last reason for only three stars is the fact there is only one tv in the entire place and it's at the second bar area (that has no taps) where all their beer stills are. Positives are the staff was friendly, the food is good (we had a grill cheese and fries) and the food is reasonably priced (grilled cheese and fries is only $4). We'll come back once they have all their beers available and if their beers are good I could easily see OBP getting bumped to four stars. read more

Great place to enjoy time with friends, accompanied by some awesome food and beer!! Casual atmosphere, made to order burgers that are delicious!! Specialty sauces make it even better! Definitely a new favorite to frequent often! read more

Try their pimento cheese or chicken salad sandwich. It's off the chain. Our first rime here and we came in expecting burgers and beer. They have that. But look at the whole menu. This was the best chicken salad I've had in a while. For downtown Macon its definitely worth a try. Mix and match, share the dishes. Thank you for a nice Saturday evening meal. We will be back. read more

One of my absolute favorite places to eat in Macon. Great atmosphere for all ages. Take your kids for a family meal or take your friends to watch a ballgame on the massive projection screen! Good burgers, but AMAZING beer!! Great selection! If you're in Macon and looking for a local place to try out, look no further! Ocmulgee is the place to go! read more

Great beer, great atmosphere, and great food. This is a great place to go if you're in Macon. Had a great showing at the Macon beer fest 2018. These guys rock, come give them some love. read more

Best veggie burger probably ever to exist. Their food quality is excellent and not super expensive.

Service is fantastic, beer is out of this world and food is amazing!!! If you have one place to go to in Macon, come here!!!

The experience was so different from most normal eateries in the area. Food is fantastic and the portions are nice especially for the price. Highly recommend. read more

I gave them 4 stars, but this place for me is just alright. It's definitely improved since it opened (started with watery beer and decent burgers). The ordering method is definitely the coolest in town, but the interior lights are not comfortable. They don't make you wanna hang out with friends and drink a lot of beer. They make you want to grab a quick burger like at 5 guys, grab a beer, eat, and leave. The truffle fries are a must get here. Other than that, I can't really remember anything that stands out. The beer is pretty expensive and hasn't really knocked me off my feet yet. But great improvement to downtown read more

Burgers, fries, beer and more. Come here and eat delicious food and drink awesome beer. House made sauces and fries. 10/10 would recommend.

They continuously change their to go policy and have made it impossibly inconvenient to order from there. They are unable to give a real excuse as to why they no longer accept phone orders. After eating there in a weekly basis they will not be receiving any of my business going forward. read more

Visiting Macon and had a great meal at the Brewpub! The veggie burger was delicious and I had the truffle fries! A great meal! Beer was awesome, too! read more

Visited for the first time last week. Came in on a weekday afternoon and there were a good many patrons already there. When we first walked in, we were a little confused as to how it worked. There was a Beer station to the right, and a Food station straight ahead at the back. An employee quickly saw our confusion and came to explain how everything works. We went to the Beer station; they have 6 of their own brews and 6 guest taps. We were a little disappointed that they only had 1 of their own brews available, a stout, but we were told more will be available the upcoming week. Next, we grabbed a table and checked out the menu. They have a good variety of food; something for everyone. They had burgers with turkey and veggie patty options which is pretty clutch. We split the grilled cheese, which was only $4. It came with fries and a sauce and we enjoyed it. We will definitely be coming back to check out their own brews once those are available. Glad to see something like this in downtown Macon. read more

Just amazing!!! I had the musk beer and it was so smooth. I ate the veggie burger. Best burger ever. Black beans and mushroom. The sauces are so fresh. Located in a great historical area. The place is so hip. read more

I moved away from Macon about a year ago but whenever I'm in town I frequent the local spots. This is now going to be one of the top on my list. I'm not a beer drinker but I loved the River Creature: a crab and lobster burger with their homemade pub sauce. The burgers come with a ton of hand cut fries and one of several dipping sauces. I can't wait to bring my husband the next time we drive through! read more

The fries and the Beer are awesome I highly recommend this place, Kaitlyn gave use a tour and Was very knowledgeable about this place. I definitely will be back soon! read more

I only had a beer, no food but is is a fun place and the beer was excellent. Very clean and the staff was great.

Omg yummmm. Delicious burgers made in house. Tons of fries. Good local beer. Best fries and sauce. You should go here and get the pub sauce.

I was traveling from Washington D.C. Stopped in for dinner, they have the best burgers in town. Must visit if you in town, highly recommended. read more

Went for lunch today and was really disappointed. Not a lot of choices so I figured they were good at what they did offer. I had a burger and my wife had a crab/lobster patty burger. It looked like theyre just phoning it in and both meals were tasteless blah and definetly not worth the prices charged. Maybe the beer is better. read more

Great atmosphere, food and beer. A must go to place in Macon Georgia. The staff is friendly and service is wonderful.

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, great drinks! Pretty much sums it up, definitely worth it to try if you are downtown looking for something good. read more

What a great new addition to the downtown area! Our experience at OBP was excellent. The house beers were actually really good. We all got burgers which were excellent. It took a while to get our food (40 min) but the staff were great with giving us updates and ended up comping our burgers even though we all agreed that was not necessary. It was very busy tonight and we expected some "growing pains" for a new place but they handled it extremely well. We will definitely return! Our only recommendations at this point would be to add some more selections to the app menu (pretzels and beer cheese or maybe some other snacky items to keep us entertained while waiting for the main course). I would give more than 5 stars if possible! read more
