I haven't had food I didn't like here! Their green gobbler is delicious. Turkey burgers are normally not on the menu at most places so I'm excited to have a place to go get one when I want. Both the normal and sweet potato fries are really good and you have to get their ranch to dip in because it's so good! read more

We stopped here for lunch when passing through the area and were delighted with our lunch. The place was very clean and you could tell they had very good measures to deal with COVID from masks and sanitizer to social distancing marks. I had the Blaze of Glory with turkey instead of the beef. Upgraded to truffle fries. I would call it delicious! My husband had the Smokey Appalachian. He called yummy! We did not try any of the beers since we were driving but they looked great. We did have a blueberry soda which tasted very natural. The only unpleasant part of the experience was that there was a gentleman puffing on a cigar at the outdoor tables throughout our whole meal making it very uncomfortable. We really wanted to be outside to social distance but we were choking back n the smoke. It would be nice if they could put up no smoking signs at least during the pandemic so we could enjoy our lunch without breathing someone else's toxic fumes. Of course it's not that fault that another patron is selfish. We can't wait to return and try the beer! read more

We got the pimento cheese sandwich, the fried tomatoes, and the muscogee burger. My husband enjoyed the muscogee burger. However, in the car on the way home, he felt really sick and that is why ai only gabe this restaurant 1 star. I also wouldn't order the pimento cheese sandwich again. It would be better if it was on grilled bread and not a bun. We got huge amounts of fries which we would have loved had they been hot. Service was slow for a place that was not busy. PS: Order your beer at the beer bar. The people at the other register have no idea about beer. read more

Fantastic food in a fun, friendly environment. Great craft beers made on premises. Even a veggie burger with a Super Food salad a picky vegetarian will enjoy. Indoor and outdoor sidewalk eating area. Janice, Brice and all the great folks at Ocmulgee Brewpub were welcoming and knowledgeable about their food and the town of Macon. read more

I ate here last night and food was very good..I got the blaze glory burger It was really good with the jalapeño kick.. I really like their jalapeño ranch it's the best I've tasted. I believe they make it themselves, wish I had gotten two instead of one. I gave four stores bc the young lady that took my order over the phone told me 25 mins, but apparently my food was ready before. But the food still tasted good and the fries were good. No worries, I would try again tho. read more

1 hour and 5 min for food to be ready. Not a single one of their worthless employees has the decency to apologise, ever. A massive catering order should not come before in-restaurant orders. When we asked to cancel, we just get an "ok," again, not a single sorry. read more

Great tasty burgers and cool atmosphere. I took off one star because the first four beers I asked for were out so it became "tell me what you do have" LOL. That was a fair amount of the beer choices. Still I would return again. It was our second time going and won't be our last. read more

Stopped by this brewery and am so glad I did. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and let me sample their beer to figure out which one I like. I got a pale ale which was incredibly delicious! Also I got their Eat a Peach burger which was incredibly savory and flavorful. The meat was cooked to perfection and was lean and great quality. Possibly one of the best burgers I've had. I also loved their fries with the potato skins! Overall, terrific experience and will come back when I'm back in the area!! read more

Service was horrible but the burger was amazing. Atmosphere was ok. It was kind of dead in the restaurant for a Friday during a work day.

Let's just get this out of the way right off the bat: best honey mustard ever. I've had my share of chicken fingers all around and I know a fine honey mustard when I get one. I was dipping my burger in it. Everyone in my crew got burgers. Everyone really enjoyed them. Lots of fun toppings. Soda was good. It was some artisanal type of brand. Husband's sweet potato fries came with maple syrup. Really great meal and no complaints. read more

If I could leave a zero, I would. We were told our food would be ready in 10-11 minutes. An hour later, and multiple times checking, no food. We got excuses, no resolution. NOT the way customer service works!!!! Perhaps a manager upgrade is all that is needed! read more

Met a friend in Macon and he suggested this place , Amazing !!!! Food was off the charts, beers were great , outdoor dining is nice , no complaints !!!! read more

Friendly atmosphere, the gentleman that greeted us when we walked in suggested the cheese curds and he was not wrong, they were delicious. My wife had a pimento cheese sandwich, which she said was great. I had a burger and it was cooked very well, but I wasn't a fan of their buns. They seemed dry and hard. I would definitely try again, they have lots of options. read more

Have been back twice more in only a few weeks specifically for this chicken sandwich. First time it had the most sauce and juiciest chicken, but was delicious each time. Have recommended this sandwich to several local family members. Bartender this most recent time was also far more hospitable. read more

We were excited to try the beer and food here. Pictures and reviews looked great. We're from out of town and got a hotel here to check out the downtown breweries. But after we got there at 730pm it was closed with a sign saying it was closed for remodeling/construction. No hours changes or closures were listed on the site, on here, or on Google. I understand plans change especially with being short staffed and issues with covid illness, but it's it that hard to communicate your hours online? Next option was to go to the other one owned by the same people but they closed the kitchen early so we ended up having to find somewhere else late night to get food and drinks when most places had already closed read more

Great burger, great, atmosphere, and service, the pork skins are off the chain! Very laid-back atmosphere. Will definitely be back again.

It's alright, typical pub, not family friendly, noisy but fine, not much to say...................................

If I could give this pub no stars I would. I ate there late Tuesday night ordered a burger everything tasted fine, however, it wasn't till 3 am Wednesday morning that my stomach was upset and I was throwing up absolute everything I ate there and had stomach problems as well. I was in the bathroom for hours throwing up and sitting in the toilet for hours. I went to the immediate care to find out that I had gotten campylobacter. Someone didn't wash their hands before going back into the KITCHEN. I ran a fever and was sick for 2 days. I would not recommend eating here. My first and last time. read more

Local eatery and brewery at its finest. AMAZING vegetarian burger. The beer, boiled peanuts and fries were also top notch. This is a unique gem of a place when in Macon. We've moved away since our last visit but can't wait to make it back. (If they have their seasonal pumpkin brew when you visit, you HAVE to try it!) read more

Excellent burgers and beer selection. Family friendly and plenty of TVs for watching games. One of my favorite spots in Macon.

This place renewed my faith in local business owners. First, they have comfortable outside seating, and a very clean, welcoming, and functional interior. Very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff to help with selections. I was waiting behind only one person to order food and was greeted with eagerness from staff asking "have you been helped". Other places you would have to be like 10th in line for them to pay attention. My food was delivered without raising a hand. The beer selections picked out for me were a wide spectrum and each with its own lasting memory... all I enjoyed and have conversation around. I received a list of my selections by name so I knew what I was drinking. I was reluctant to visit due to I'm a foodie and not fascinated by the classic burger joints. But I got hungry while there and ordered the crab and lobster burger with truffle fries. No disappointment with the food. The fries were really the best I've ever had, and I don't normally like french fries. The burger was seafood favorable with an unintrusive bun! And the wait staff.....freaking amazing! Served me quickly with smiles, helpful, and attentive. This place is what I Iive for! So glad I found it. This place puts others to shame. read more

Best hot chicken sandwich I've ever had. Get the regular fries with garlic aioli. So good!

Drove through Macon on our way home to Augusta and decided to eat downtown. The place was easy to locate, and not at all busy despite it being lunchtime. It was a Monday so I'm not sure what their normal is. We both tried different burgers and they came out with the appetizer we had ordered. All was just ok food wise, and service could definitely be better. The guy was simply there to take our order and that's all he did. Overall pretty cool looking place though. I didn't order beer since I don't drink. read more

Food is always cold. Very unorganized place food comes out 10 minutes apart. Need a manager there at all times . I'm sorry but I've been there numerous times and never changes. Food not very good. Can't believe as many people that go there the quality should be better. I won't go back. read more

Ocmulgee is a fun spot to grab a pint and socialize. A few good in house brews and guest taps on rotation. I've enjoyed the food I've tried and think their menu revamp will serve them well. There are lots of specialty burger options, so there's sure to be something for everyone. If not, build your own to your liking. I tried the summer salad with a chicken patty recently and really liked it too. The fried cheese curds and truffle fries are yummy apps to share, or on your own. No judgement. It gets busy here on weekends and especially for events around downtown. Think Cherry Blossom, First Friday and other festivals throughout the year. They have plenty cafeteria style bench seating, and some bar counters around the beer tanks. There are two separate areas to order beer and food, which means two separate lines. You can start a tab at one and add to it at the other, which is nice if you're getting both food and drinks. Food orders can take forever, well 60-90+ minutes is what I've seen. So. Not. Worth. It. Ocmulgee is a Brewpub, not a brewery or a bar, so they close earlier. It's a good place to start out the evening, or for those who need an excuse to call it an early night. If you're bored, take a shot at finding the hidden logo stickers on the walls for a free beer. read more

Most over rated burger joint we've been to. we waited for ages, they only opened a single register, when the food finally came out, it was ok. Meat is definitely fresh, but not worth standing in line for 30 mins and then waiting another 30 to get. Wasted our night in town when we should have walked around and enjoyed this town. read more

The food was good and reasonable pricing, the service could have been a little better as when we walked inside we stood at the door for a minute until we realized we had to go order at the counter and then sit but no one was there to let us know & they only had one cash register open with a line of 5+ people. Other than that everything else was nice, good food, good atmosphere, clean place. read more

The Bentley burger is so delicious, and the truffle fries are amazing too! We will definitely be back!!

The beer was wonderful and the food an added plus. I ordered the River Creature and it was even better than I had anticipated.

Just average. Really small selection of beers and the burger didn't have much flavor.

Good place good food service was ok , first time and I must say I had a good time. I will be back again
