Discos, a drink at the bar (why?!), swimming, using their gym (yes I have been to a gym before!), I've been waxed here before. I took swimming classes here from the age of 9 and when I grew up, I came here to take their classes. My mum goes here several times a week to Keep Fit. It's cheap, it's basic, it stinks of chlorine. I love it! Unlike other gyms and sports centres around here, you pay a small members fee and then get a great discount on the classes and entry. It makes the cost manageable and actually affordable for people with large families. Everything is basic, and service is pretty crap, but you get what you pay for. Just a note, if your date takes you to the bar here, dump him... now!

Worthing Leisure center is the main leisure center for the Worthing area. It is well equipped ten…read morecourt hall which is used for badminton, volleyball, trampolining and bowls. It also has a studio for fitness classes, a track and field, astroturf, grass pitches and an indoor climbing wall. Good provision for children with crèche, toddler soft play sessions and amazon adventure and holiday sports clubs for primary school age. I've personally used the badminton courts, holiday clubs for my foster children and attended county running events as spectator. I've hired out the court for a basketball party where a group of young people can use the court and have snack and drinks to celebrate their birthday.The reception staff comes across as helpful and efficient. A real asset to Worthing and the community.

This is an outstanding sports facility. It has a 50m swimming pool (which is a real shock to the…read moresystem when you are 3/4 of the way down it when you are used to a 25m pool!). The floor of the pool can be raised or lowered depending on what event it is hosting - very clever. The gym is very modern with all the latest gear for you to use. It also has a number of indoor courts for volleyball, badminton, basketball, 5-aside football etc. The changing rooms are kept very clean with alternate wet and dry rooms for swimming and other activities. The facility is free for soldiers and their dependents and other discounts are also available. It has excellent opening hours to suit everyones needs. Due to 50m pools across the country being categorised as national assets, swimming can sometimes be disrupted by school swimming sessions, but this is a small price to pay for an otherwise fantastic facility.
