Largest surf shop in the world at 52,000 square feet of cool, rad, and gnarly, awesome things (shirts, jewelry, swim wear, accessories, beauty products, home decor, surf boards, rash guards, sunglasses, etc). If you can walk out without buying a shirt, keychain or sticker, I would either be impressed, or think something was wrong with you. Free parking (time limit) in the back of the shop. Long arse lines at all the registers, but that's a testament to how popular this place is. My husband who is an (ex-)surfer, totally loved this shop. He said visiting this store was one of the highlights of the trip.

It's like a superstore for beachwear, keychains, hats, sunglasses, shirts, surfboards, art, trinkets, shoes, and a bunch of other random things. It's so much fun to walk around this place and see what you can find. I still have a souvenir magnet from my first visit. This time I found a shirt I had to have! We stopped in for some sunscreen and a few beach/pool toys before getting on a cruise and were able to find everything we could need/want. They have a great selection of nearly everything you could think of and, if you have lids, plan to keep an eye on your wallet because I can nearly guarantee they'll find something they will want! Heck, even I found myself trying to justify a puka shell necklace for me haha. (Note to self, you're not 14...) The staff here is very friendly and happy to help with anything you need. They make it a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Look no further than this beach shop for those vacation needs. Right when we were about to pull out she flags up down and tells us it didn't go through. No big deal! My mom checks her bank account and it did go through. The cashier gets the manager, a lady with an either Russian or Ukrainian accent, and we show her the transaction went through on our side. She then snaps at us and says, "whatever just take it for free." And storms off. My mom and I are just standing there in shock, and I had a new item with me that I was going to purchase. After a minute of standing there she calls out, "you're good to go." And I explain I had an item. She comes out, tells me the price, looks at my mom and says, "and not the $18.16, but I'm not discussing that with you." Obviously we no longer want to be here due to her being hostile and not knowing how to conduct herself in the slightest. I turn and say, "you know what? Never mind." In which she responds with a high pitched, "byeeeeeee." And as you can see from the image posted, yes, our payment DID go through.

I had no rain coat and was drenched to the bone and shivering when I appeared in the laundromat. I didn't need a wash, I needed a DRYER. Fast. Candace immediately offered me dry clothing while mine dried. She went well beyond just GOOD SERVICE: she took pity on a fool without a rain coat! Cape Laundry itself is a pleasure: open, bright and clean facility with rest room. It has many large, easily used machines. And, best of all, it has Candace, one of the most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! If you are in Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach, Cape Laundry is THE place to get your laundry done. And if you're lucky, you'll meet Candace.
