They're a decent laundromat if you are lucky enough to be there when they're open. They close whenever is convenient for them and they don't post the altered hours on the door. For example, today is Wednesday December 17 and I arrived at 7:25 pm to do my laundry. The person working there said that last wash is at 6:30 pm. When I pointed at the hours posted on the door that said last wash is 8:00 pm, she said no - 8:00 pm is when they stop accepting "full service laundry". The lady who works there on Tuesday night March 24th 2026 is psychotic and took my clothes out of the washer without consulting me and put them in another washer with no detergent on cold. When I asked her about it she said she would throw me out of the business. I was appalled. Very crazy women who talks to herself and is a nuisance. I would not do recommend doing business at this laundromat. I have seen first hand how the owner Michele French treats the girls that work for her. I have seen 10 to 13 girls quit because they get paid little to nothing and they have to wait for their tip money for over a month. It is brutally hot in the summer with the owner not providing enought air circulation or ac. All the girls that are worth having dont stay because of very poor work conditions. She runs a sweat shops and does not care about her employees well being. I come here every weekend on Saturday do my laundry and the lady that's usually here. She is wonderful. I miss her. She's on vacation. I wish she would come back now. Bottom Line: No body wants to be here but if you have to go to do your laundry on the Cape - come here. There is always an attendant available to exchange bills for quarters. Also to lend a hand with the machines (some doors are just a little persnickety). There are plenty of washing machines, all different sizes. Vary from $2 (home sized machine) to $7 (for the huge machine) a load. There are also plenty of dryers. I've never had to wait. The dryers are .25 for 5 minutes. They keep the place clean and they even decorate for different holidays ;-) Bottom Line: when I am one pair of shorts away from wearing my yard/paint clothes - this is where you'll find me! read more

Sad to say I have been using this company for years and now I will be taking my business elsewhere due to one irritable employee. Several occasions she has spoken poorly about other customers to me but this last time she actually was talking poorly about me loud enough for me and other customers to hear for washing my hands to switch my clean laundry over!!! I have been going there for years. Since Hector and his wife owned it. My problem is not with Cape Laundry but with one of the attendants. She's very aggressive toward customers. I've experienced it directly as well as witnessed her treatment of other customers. She's always there on Mondays and Tuesdays. I've heard her saying terrible things about other customers as well. When she left the first time I was relieved that I would not have to be abused by her aggressive behavior. I know times are tough and it's hard to find good help, however, when there's a employee I feel the owners should know that these are the people giving there business a bad reputation. I will never go back because of this rude, disrespectful and unprofessional attendant. Cape Laundry you can do better than her. It won't be difficult to do better than mean, aggressive and abusive. read more

I live in cape Canaveral and have been using Cape laundry for a few months, After getting change, and putting in 5 dollars to do a wash an error code came up on the machine and it would not start. After twenty minutes of trying to find a breaker to reset they said there was nothing they could do. So I said fine, please give me my 5 dollars back. They refused to return my 5 dollars, I was out of time and had to get to work but still they refused. Could not believe it. It takes 3x the money to find a new customer than to keep an existing one. So, keep counting those quarters Cape Laundry. There are many other options with employees who are not rude, crude, and very disrespectful. read more

****Update**** Since my last review "Cape Laundry" has implemented a "No Smoking" policy! Good on them. The laundry is clean and the owner is very helpful. She told me she could have clothes done and folded today for 99 cents a pound. Told me 8pm pick up and I tipped her and she called me back an hour later at 4pm with them ready to roll. I'm out here from California for work. Been here 5 times for laundry service they wash and fold my clothes for a very fair price the ladies there are very nice the turn around is very quick as well. I pay a few dollars extra for Tide and Downey it makes a difference. read more

When I am in town for work, I stop in once a week. My hotel wants me to use a credit card for their machines; I don't trust that. CL is clean for a laundromat. I'm sure grouches clean there clothes, but I have only met nice helpful people and often pass the time with a pleasant conversations. Pro: Free Wi-Fi. Dryers are huge and efficient. Extra parking in the rear. Several folding tables and rolling carts. Attendants are friendly and can change bills for coins. Customers can get free detergent. Cons: Standard washers are not deep, so may not hold what you expect and make you split your load. Sunday after church can get busy. Summer it is hot inside. Front or rear parking is hard for a 4door pickup. read more

Terrible service. Dropped my down comforter off to be dry cleaned and the next day when I went to pick it up, discovered it smelled completely of mildew. What was the excuse? "Down comforters are supposed to be washed, not dry cleaned." Even when it plainly states on the comforters tag DRY CLEANING ONLY. They didn't offer a refund or really show much compassion for ruining a $250 comforter. I just don't understand how you wouldn't know to dry clean a down comforter ESPECIALLY if you own a laundromat. First time drop off my clothes to have it wash. $1.00/pound with 10 pound minimum. Drop off at 7:30am and was ready by 11:30am. Clothes and socks are neatly folded. Wonderful little laundromat. I travelled down from Ohio (stops along the way for work and visiting friends) and popped in to do some laundry before getting on a cruise. The place was very clean. Lots of seats available as well as books, magazines, a current newspaper and even a few board games. Machines worked great and only a half hour needed for the dryer. They will exchange as many quarters as you need and even give you free detergent. The attendant was very nice and helpful. read more

Terrible service, terrible experience I have been using laundry drop off services with multiple laundry establishments for more than 5 years. Cape Laundry has provided the worst service and the quality of care is for below what anybody would expect. I have had laundry destroyed under the care of this facility and its staff through cross contamination in the machines (residual bleach/chemicals from previous loads), and they refused to own up to and accept resonsibility. Be warned that the clothes get mixed up on a regular basis, if you for some bazarre reason choose to drop your clothes off here, do yourself a favor and check when picking up to ensure they havenet given somebody elses laundry to you, as this has happened to me more than once. Between the heavy smell of cigarrette smoke and the unprofessional staff, I would clearly recommend all to avoid this establishment. There are better choices in the area for laundry drop off service. I now take my laundry a few miles south next to Ace Hardware and am finally enjoying professional and friendly service. "Lets Talk Dirty" has my highest recommendations in the area for laundry services. Better value, better service, quality results. read more
