Recently had to purchase a new washer and dryer, and in the meanwhile, I had to find alternative laundering means. Fortunately, the flamingo laundry center was conveniently located and had hours of operation that were suitable to my availability. The place itself was cool because it had ample parking outside and was easy to navigate once inside. Generally speaking, it's your typical laundromat and the machines were clean, which is a huge deal for me because you never want to wash your clothes in a place where a washer feels like it isn't exactly hygienic : it tends to happen Tip: if you're load of laundry, exceeds the space of the smaller washer do yourself a favor in spring for the medium size because you need room for your clothes to actually move around. Does you know good to pack your clothes like a can of sardines and then wonder why it isn't washed correctly. Fortunately, this place had varied sizes of both washers and dryers so I was able to add the appropriate detergent and detail details to get the job done . I'm also a fan of folding clothes immediately so there was a nice space for me to knock that out as well. read more

The place was clean and one of the remaining laundry mats in the area that still lets you use coins.

This laundromat is very clean and well kept. The machines do a great job. They have WiFi so I could work while doing laundry.

I would give less stars but I have to leave one, this is not the first time I have gone in there and had an issue with the one particular night woman. She should get a new job if she doesn't want to work there until close! Always rushing to get out, gave me a bad attitude about refunding my $1.50, as if I am trying to con her and would not refund it. Always an attitude. Another occasion we had to walkout because my girlfriend was in tears over how she was treated. The other 2 woman are delightful, I thank you. If I didn't work 15 hour days, 7 days a week, I would come earlier, but I can't, but I get there before 9 and rush, I don't even fold my clothes and the entire time I feel like I am walking on egg shells trying not to set off a landmine!!!! My family and friends were in Viera for a softball tournament in August 2021. Well with softball comes dirty uniforms. Checked this laundry center based on Yelp location to our hotel. This laundry center had a nice, clean setup. The washing machine price was between $2-$3 per load, depending on the size of the machine. The dryer price was $0.25 for six minutes and all four of the driers I used were hot. The facility also has a dry cleaner in the building, although I did not need to use their services. read more

Great laundry center. Always clean, comfortable, with employees on site for assistance if needed. Wi-fi & air conditioned. Hours of operation are so accommodating. 6 am to 10 pm, 364 days a year! I'm traveling so needed a laundromat. I had a pleasant experience at Flamingo because of the friendly, competent and courteous attendant. The place was busy but LaDonna kept everyone happy answering questions and helping find machines and supplies. She was working hard taking in laundry too. I had a few issues (my fault) and she could not have been kinder in helping me resolve the situation even though I inadvertently made more work for her - thank you! The machines are clean. Some are new and some are older but work fine. They have a change machine, sitting area, vending machines for snacks and laundry supplies. Even at the busy time, I found large and small machines readily available. I really like the dryers as they didn't get too hot (as a lot of commercial machines do) and you get 6 min for a quarter so no wasted $. As much as I dreaded going to the laundromat on a rainy day, LaDonna helped ensure it was a good experience. From my experience in the area, this is one of the better laundromats if not the best. read more

I am at the laundry center now and using washer 5D! There is a very minimal amount of water in the washer! You can't even see it on the door and it looks like my sheets and bedding are just spinning around without soap or water! I informed the lady working and she said 'oh I know, I seen it when we walked over." So I asked her if there was anything we could do to move my clothes to another washer because they are not getting clean. She said there was nothing she could do! I find this highly unlikely! I am so upset that I am now wasting my time and my money! I will not return to this location again! Lesson learned! read more

I can't believe the horrible experience we just had there. My equipment at home broke so I am not a usual customer of laundromats. We entered the facility at approximately 8:42 and the attendant Approached us on entering concerned that we wouldn't be able to finish our laundry before the 10 PM closing time. I assured her that even if my laundry was not completed I would be out of the facility before closing time. She continued to approach me an additional three times stating that she felt that I was there too late in the day and she needed to be sure to leave at 10 o'clock. Each time I assured her that I would not hold her up and we had more than an hour left before closing. It got to the point where I told her to please let me worry about the time and to please stop her continued questioning and again promised that I would be out by 10 and that continuing to address the issue it was slowing me down and not helpful. Approximately five minutes till 9 PM she came up to me screaming that she would not allow me to load any additional washers because it says right on the door the last load is 9 PM. I again assured her that I would be out of the facility by 10 even if my wash was wet and to please stop harassing me. I reminded her that it was not yet 9 PM. I told her that I would be happy to discuss with her manager and if she would like. She then went to every other patron in the facility discussing with them her concerns that I would not be out of there by 10 PM.We made the decision that her behavior was escalating to the point where I was uncomfortable and that we will be leaving as soon as our wash was complete without drying there. As I'm trying to load my car with wet clothes she locked the door with my 13 y/o child still in the building. She left the door locked and did not stay to let me back in and out of the building. I entered the building by pushing on the door and continue to load my car. When I reentered the building again she began screaming at me yet again saying that I was going to break the door and I have no business pushing on a locked door. She then proceeded to approach my child with this same abusive behavior. I asked her to stop her behavior and to please just leave us alone that we would be out of her building as soon as possible and reminded her that it was unacceptable to leave come me outside with my child in the building while I was loading my car and it was not safe for anyone involved. I reminded her that she should not be locking my child in the building while I was trying to load my car. She stated it was her policy to lock the door. I told her that she was to stop screaming at my child. She was unaware that my child is a fragile type one diabetic and has placed her in a situation that I could not get to go her should a medical emergency occur. We were out of the facility by 9:30 PM which was 1/2 hour earlier than the closing time. Words cannot express how dumbfounded I am as to the behavior of harassment and abuse I just experienced at this facility. I will be contacting the supervisor and I will be escalating it to the Better Business Bureau. read more

On 19 January 2018 I took a beautiful, but dirty, bed comforter into Flamingo Laundry Center. Due to the number of spots on that once fine piece of linen I feared ruining it if I tried to do it myself. At the desk was Jennifer. Jennifer took a look at the comforter which I'd marked with safety pins at all the places I'd noted stains and gave me hope that Flamingo would be able to get most of them removed. However, she politely but firmly warned me not to expect perfection. When I returned in less than three hours to pick up the comforter, I was startled to see how beautiful the linen had evolved and how successful the laundering had been.
