Most of the residents were welcoming and helpful but I was next to one that thought they own the place. When I first pulled in there was a car parked on my site. I went to the office and they told me just to knock on doors and find out whose it is and ask them to move it. Shouldn't this be the hosts job?? It turned out to be the permanent resident next door. They started complaining bc I woke them up and they worked late then they moved their car 2 feet closer to their spot which was still in my space and not enough room for me to get my 17ft camper in. So they parked it in another open spot to inconvenience someone else. They also had their dog tie outs attached to my hook ups. Their rat dogs barked nonstop and you smell their shit just under my window. They also smoked and it came right into my windows. I went out with my dogs the next day and when I returned they had a truck parked right up against my camper and on my water line and the car was parked on their patio slab which is supposed to be against park rules. Maybe if the host got out and checked sites a few times a day and someone did some maintenance it could be a beautiful place.

It made a great home base for exploring the area. We stayed in Site 66. While the site itself was nice, it was a little closer to Highway 101 than I would have preferred. Next time, I would choose a site farther back in the campground for a quieter experience. The campground amenities were clean and well-maintained. They offer showers, restrooms, tv hookups, and a small on-site store stocked with basic necessities. They also sell firewood, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning, especially if we could snag a site a bit deeper in the park.

Not too sure what can be done about that. The second thing they really need to get on is campers for taking multiple spots it's super frustrating pulling up to your spot and find group next you is parking their cars there or took over your picnic table hanging out drinking beer blasting music. This issue seems super fixable with just some routine patrols, one time I told them and they literally asked me well did you asked them to move? dude that's not my job it's yours.

Cars & trucks are in and out constantly cruising. No one is in the office, they have a number for you to call for a host, the kiosk outside the office was not working. People unhook their trucks from their trailers ( or toads) and then park them in the front row of the beach, rather then in their site, blocking your view of the ocean. State Park so it's open to the public from 7am to 10pm. Locals come in the evening and bum cigarettes and money, they know the code to the restroom so they ask people for quarters so they can take a shower.... The showers are filthy! The road in and out is full of potholes, speed bumps are not clearly marked, and the overall condition of the RV park has diminished greatly in the last few years. PROS: This full hookup RV campground is steps from the ocean.

This was not the case We left and forfeited our night stay of $66 and moved to seaside Rv right on the ocean (ocean front for$55) It was worth loosing the money to be on the beach. I asked about refund and of course they would not refund. We were going to spend 3 nights - so happy we moved. This park seems to have a lot of permanent residents. Pro's: the park is clean and quiet at night, nice laundry area…read moreCons: the 2 pet areas are just a wide spot next to the dumpster and 1 has water running through it. they also list a pet area at the entrance but it's a little spot right on the bush adjacent road. laundry facility doesn't have a dispenser for detergent so bring your own. I would have liked to used it but didn't want to buy a huge laundry soap at the store. the 2 showers for women were just ok, they didn't smell fresh so I decided not to use them. the thing that killed this place for me was the water hookup for the RV is almost at ground level close to the sewer dump instead of being elevated on a post so someone can't contaminate the faucets when hooking or in hooking the sewer. I will look for a more sanitary situation next time.
