So, we made our first visit to the Outlet in Southington today. The differences between the two locations were striking. Southington is much larger and seemed to have a greater variety of products. It was more like a mini supermarket complete with produce, frozen goods, refrigerated goods, and a dairy case. Another difference is their 50% off room, where all sorts of non- foods items were half price. We used to pick up coffees, teas, frozen goods, and boxes of cereal at the Canton store. Just like Canton was, you have to check the pricing carefully because pricing is a real mixed bag. The Outlet is lower on some items and quite a bit higher on other items when compared to supermarket prices. We did find a few good buys- two squares of frozen jalapeno cornbread and two mini packages of frozen chocolate chip pancakes. How does $1.16 sound for all four? Yes, I thought you'd be as pleased with that as we were.

The cashier said they not allowed ,so then I asked the manager how is it possible that a customer suppose to know that when your not allowed to put a sign up. She couldn't answer, then said it was that particular stores policy because they have no way to detect if the bill is real or not..I thought everything she told me made no sense because they sell fake bill pens..I wouldn't come here again, felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed.

Aldi has the lowest prices on their everyday grocery items. They also have an isle of random discounted merchandise, such as storage items, toys and seasonal decor. Most of the items Aldi carries, are their own brand. You can randomly find name brand items also. Unfortunately not everything I need can be found here. Be sure to have a quarter ready so you can get a shopping cart, and return it after you're done. This is part of the reason their prices are low, they're not hiring someone to collect shopping carts all over the parking lot. You will not find a shopping basket at Aldi. This is a very nice Aldi location. You can find your everyday basics at a great price.

There's some quality pieces of furniture, like stackable tables, benches and some smaller organizing units. Currently, since Easter is approaching they have quite a collection of dish ware with Easter bunnies or spring flowers. As well as all kinds of Easter and Spring decor for your home. I tried to only get what I came in for, and I got a little stuffed bunny wearing a floral dress, I think the four year old will love her gift!
