From the moment we contacted Margo months before our trip until we returned home, every email, inquiry, question, etc. was responded to in a timely fashion with very useful tidbits of information about our trip. There is no way we could have been as organized or packed as much into our short stay in Barcelona as we did without Margo's assistance. We initially contacted Margo to arrange a bike tour, but she provided many additional recommendations for restaurants, sites and stops along the way, all of which turned out to be great. Her personalized approach to customizing our experience really set Hi. This is Barcelona... apart from other tour groups. The day after our arrival, we spent the entire day on a bike tour of Barcelona. We had told Margo that we wanted to see as much of Barcelona as possible in a day, and our expectations were far exceeded. Our local guide, Angel, was born and raised in Barcelona. Angel was delighted to share his knowledge of and passion for Barcelona in a way that made us feel like locals. We made our way along the port area, up Montjuic, crossed the city towards La Sagrada Familia, then headed towards the Olympic Village and back along the coastal beaches. Throughout our voyage, Angel deftly guided us through the city streets as he pointed out historic landmarks, various neighborhoods and their features, architectural influences and many other significant tidbits of information that would have otherwise gone totally unnoticed and unappreciated without him. Even after the tour was over, Angel accompanied us back to our hotel and gave us recommendations for our continued adventure up the Catalan coast. His recommendations led to some the most memorable experiences of our trip. If you want to truly feel like a VIP in Barcelona, then Hi. This is Barcelona... is for you!!

Jordan was very communicative leading up to the trip and helped plan three lovely, guided days throughout the city as well as a side trip to Sitges. My parents and I loved our time with Zaida and Silvia who were incredibly knowledgeable and took great care getting us to so many of the city's beautiful sites, including introducing us to restaurants off the beaten path. I'm talking locals wearing shorts and Ray Bans.,Thus, I managed to catch some rays in this beautiful waterfront. It's also a nice place to pack a picnic and sit at the dock of the bay. This is also where you book sunset cruises, sailing trips, etc. There is a tourist info booth where you can book and get info on the Las Glorianas cruises. In the midst of all are very important landmarks: Columbus Monument, World Trade Center, Maritime Museum and some cool art courtesy of Pop Art genius Lichtenstein. Next to the Marina are very cool fish restaurants, gelaterias and shopping. It is easily accessible by walking: its at the end of my other fave, La Rambla or Metro. Highly recommend!

The no rules boat…read more The wife and I took a 90-minute boat tour with Las Golondrinas. The tour gave us a view of the Barcelona harbor, city skyline along the coast, and the shipping port. There was no audio accompaniment, so we had to guess/research what different landmarks were. No directions or safety announcements were given, either. They trust you to have enough sense to not fall overboard. You have a choice between being on the upper deck (better view) or lower deck (protected from the elements). Want to stand at the front or back of the boat? Not a problem. Want to eat or drink? Cheers. On the lower deck you can purchase snacks and drinks (including alcohol), but the staff probably doesn't care if you bring your own. They are so chill. The cost for the 90-minute tour was €15.20 for adults and less for seniors, students and children. There are better ways to spend your money in Barcelona, but we did this tour because it was included in our Barcelona Pass. Can't say it was the most memorable, but it certainly was relaxing!

Moll Adosant is larger and receives more larger cruiseships so it can become very hectic on drop off and pickup. I was not changing anything getting back to the airport so I arranged cre service for 7am. when it is least busy. Getting over the large bridge to the mainland can seriously back up for a long time. The traffic pattern is one way in and one way out for all traffic. Since my voyage was a closed loop, clearing immigration is not necessary and that is the quickest way out of the terminal. The taxi queue is steadily moving and prearranged car services are allowed to park for their waiting passengers. In my opinion, I like this terminal much better than WTC.

The ride was beautiful as we came closer to Montserrat, the basilica was phenomenal, the market was amazing. I ended up purchasing two delicious cheeses - goat and truffle. The walk to the cross was challenging as we had limited time but well worth it. It's an uphill climb. I loved the family history of the winery. The stability of the family to keep the property in the family for 36 generations since 964 was incredible. The vineyards were started in the 1800's. The ambience was perfect with stone cellars and towers. Great place for an event. Loved it! If you go to Barcelona, DON'T miss it!

We waited in front of church to try & meet guide no luck we checked with 6 other groups no luck however one group sounded like to new something about our name. 5. Why would we just miss this tour after paying for me , wife, and another couple does Viator need $239 that bad . Both itineraries were excellent, and we could choose modifications to our itinerary and how long to stay in various spots. We had 4 people, and one had limited walking ability. They accommodated this nicely and the cars were very comfortable. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.
