Upon entrance, I was greeted by the receptionist and filled out my health history form. I was actually surprised that they directly bill to insurance companies since many places do not directly bill, unless if it is a clinic. After filling out my forms, I was greeted by Karli Rose, and she lead me to the treatment room. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated, giving me the relaxing feels like within a spa setting. Karli Rose did a thorough consult with me prior to the treatment. The massage itself was amazing. Karli Rose had the perfect medium-deep pressure during the massage. She allowed me to chit chat when I wanted, but also allowed me to be in my own silent space. I really enjoyed talking with her and getting to know her, especially since we had similar past experiences. Since this was my first appointment, I was able to receive the first-time price of $59.99. The receptionist mentioned the membership for future appointments, which I declined for now since I maxed out my benefits for the year, but have thought about it for next year when it resets. What stood out to me is that each technique and moved she used seemed intentional and catered to my needs. It didn't feel like a routine. The pressure was just right and she really did try to get all my knots out. She made sure to focus on what I asked her to. I also really appreciated that she reminded me to breathe and not hold my breath. I do this all the time during massages and never really realized. When I asked for harder she went from gliding to literally pounding. She complained that "I'm not strong". At this point I was ready to leave and then she asked me to turn over. Here she says that she pays for the room and that she wants a $20 "tip" (the $20 I was supposed to get in change). She tells me she will give me pleasure for the $20, or not, either way she was keeping the $20. I declined. I was sore and came for pain, not a handy. We had booked a one hour massage and I believe they ended right on time. For an hour I just focused on the music in the background and the gentle massage on my back, neck, legs, arms, and head. The spa was clean and a peaceful environment. Massages were reasonably priced and I was told the tip was split 50/50 between the masseuses. Note these are not RMTs though so they can't be claimed if you're looking to use insurance benefits from work. The spa is centred for massages only, so there are no additional amenities if you are looking for a place to lounge and relax around afterwards. We got our massage and promptly left after paying. I did feel more relaxed after the massage. It's a bit further out from where I am so not sure if I would go out of my way to visit. Would recommend if you're nearby!

I was in the room with the shower and the shower stall looked like it never been cleaned. Gross.
