Fresh produce including this cute little grapefruit, small bag of chips were $3.39

For a small shop, it's packed full of good groceries. They had live dungeness crabs, a unique (to me) selection of frozen seafood and meats, delicious looking bags of frozen dumplings, egg rolls, etc. Produce looked very fresh. I didn't pay attention to price signs on snacks; we picked a small bag of chips of a flavor we've never seen, it was $3.39.

Amount of meat from 2.5 lb lobster both claws and tail very mushy

They sell seafood like crab and lobster at discounted price that supposedly had just been removed from tanks that morning but I have cooked and eaten crabs and lobster for many years and know for a fact that these were in fact not freshly deceased product due to consistency of the meat once cooked very mushy which means old and previously frozen. It is hard to determine the quality of these products before cooking unless they are still alive, so beware of this market they will sell you very old and possibly health hazardous products

    Freah crab!

Our go to place for live seafood. We shop here a few times a year and pick up live crabs for a crab boil. Great selection of live crab, lobsters and fish. We'll hit the freezer section and pick up an assortment of frozen dumplings for steaming. Great shop!

Yummy steam buns. Put them in a rice cooker with a cup of water for 15 minutes. Fantastic. $2.99.

Fresh selection of seafood, fair prices, and quality snacks on every aisle. Looking for that exotic sauce your grandmother used? Want to find the ice cream you tried in Japan? Searching for the tea you had in that Chinese restaurant? You will find 90% of it here. The seafood selection looks and smells fresh. They have live mussels, clams, crab, tilapia, and more. A huge selection of buns in the back of the restaurant from $2-3, many teas and chips/crackers/cookies for less than $2. They had persimmons last week, just wait for them to ripen until soft inside like a water balloon. I left with 4 packages of mochi, two packs of steam buns, a few persimmons, and a bag of cookies for $13. They take debit and credit. If you're looking for a quality local Asian market, try this location.

This little market in a quiet strip mall may not be the cleanest, freshest, or best Asian market, but it is convenient with a limited selection of comfort Chinese, Vietnamese, and other Asian food and seafood. The produce section is especially small and depressing. The fresh and frozen fish is a-ok ... and the main reason to Ocean King Market eeks out 3 stars. We go about once a month when we are simply too lazy to drive another 15 minutes into Portland. Service and friendliness matches the prices and quality ... just barely into the a-ok range. If you are in East Vancouver and need Asian food this may be the best choice you have, even though it isn't the cleanest, freshest, or best.

Great selection and super reasonably priced. Plenty of canned goods and noodles... if you're not finding it elsewhere I'm sure they have it!

Good selection of frozen fish and Asian staples, but it really doesn't smell like a good place to buy seafood

Great local place to get asian ingredients. Would stop by very often when I lived in Vancouver.

Crabs were healthy and alive for the day before we cooked them. Picked them up early morning and cooked them for dinner

Bought fresh oysters delivered Tuesday. Kept them outside on ice. They were delicious with Thanksgiving dinner. We'll be back.

The portions of everything are very generous. Sandwiches and avocado toast are definitely enough to share or take home for a second meal. We shared a lemon crepe which had what tasted like house made lemon curd inside of it. It was dusted with powdered sugar and created a delicious flavor. Crepe was perfectly prepared. I ordered the avocado toast which was twice the size of what I expected and could eat, so it made a very nice lunch later. The avocado is a spread as opposed to sliced; although I prefer sliced, this was actually pretty tasty. This also came with a fried egg on both of the pieces of toast and thinly sliced radishes, flat leaf parsley, sesame seed, and a generous amount of pickled red onion which I adore. The bread is a lovely European multigrain. Underneath the toast, I found a beautiful fresh green salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and tomatoes, and all in all this was the perfect dish. My dining companion chose the turkey sandwich, and this two was a very large sandwich. It looked really great and had a lot of turkey on it, so much that it looked like fresh turkey as opposed to a deli meat, but I'm really not sure. For some reason, she didn't especially care for her sandwich; may have been a little too much pesto on it for her likes, but I thought it looked wonderful and also came with a salad. I had a drip coffee, for which I was told I could get refills for free, and my companion had a latte. Both were very good. I would like to come back sometime and purchase some of their desserts as they all looked absolutely amazing.

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the atmosphere very inviting. I stopped by hoping to find a birthday cake for my father who enjoys European baked goods, and who can blame me - I walked away with a blueberry cake and a deep fried cabbage hand pie (?) that will have me returning for more very soon!
