Knee Replacement Surgery Perfection Therapy!…read more I wish there were 7 star ratings!! My husband left the hospital on a holiday and THERAPY SPECIALISTS arrived almost immediately. First... Nicole made sure our home was safe with lots of tips and ideas for equipment....removing rugs etc. Next Stephen arrived for an evaluation and "hands on" therapy. He is a total pro. We exchanged our walker, for example as the wheels were too small. Then Tracy arrived with kindness and a total knowledge of what to do, how to do it and more professional help. Within a week, Al was walking with a cane and bending his knee correctly! They were like angels. I can't imagine any therapy being any more perfect. They were on time, completely knowledgeable, kind, positive, helpful. I recommend them with the highest stars.

My lil guy has had a decade of speech therapy ( started at age 2) and I've never felt as informed…read moreand hopeful as I felt after our visit at NorthStar .... NorthStar Wowed us with the little things which are BIG to ASD families "literally made us feel like we matter" Northstar took the time to go over Bear's situation and remembered it ! Dr. Katherine listened to bears needs, she knew his likes. An iPad was already set up with his favorite reinforcers when we arrived...I couldn't have been more impressed!!! Northstar is going to empower a lot of children and families in a very positive way. As I mentioned for 10 years, I've tried several Speech companies over a dozen Slp's spent hours on researching the current options not knowing which was right for Bear such as pecs, more than words, and several AAC device apps for my little nonverbal guy. Mind blown !!!! because in one hour Slp, Maddie at NorthStar gave me enough information about my sons learning style (which happens to be Gasalt) something I had never heard of it until that day, plus several new tips on how to communicate with him and to get him to communicate with me. Since that appointment I discovered that my sons learning type wasn't new it's actually been around since the 80s but that a lot of Slp's haven't heard of it or don't know enough about it which is unfortunate, because it tends to be according to research the main modality of learning for learners on the autism spectrum. Who knew? Oh Northstar!!! I cannot stress enough the importance of somebody explaining to you HOW to work with your child (since there are a lot more hours in the day than just one for speech therapy) it's something that "you need to carry it over" do at home to get maximum results!!!!! when you have the right support and knowledge the sky's the limit... Maddie, thank you from the bottom of my heart for focusing on Bear and his needs recognizing how he learns language and how we can implement strategies to further his communication....You have pointed me in the right direction after years of circling confused wondering why such slow progression Your knowledge is so informative the most researched based current and best approach to assisting him in his communication journey. I truly felt like we were stuck in one area and now with so much more information in my toolbox. I'm anticipating seeing so much more language from my lil guy... PLEASE if you are a parent of a non-speaking child, whether that's due to autism or any other speech, delays issues or concerns """""I highly recommend that you give NorthStar try """" you will get set on the right path.... literally follow the North Star""""" Also if you are a parent who's been feeling defeated by the lack of progress let me assure you that there is hope this is the place to start or start over !!!! I'm already seeing progress

His team always informs me on how he is doing and what we need to work on. We are very excited to be apart of the Healthpro family! My daughters and son attend OT, Speech, PT. The kids love coming into clinic and really enjoy their therapists. I even had to switch to zoom one day for my daughter for speech and they were very accommodating. The speech session was very amazing to watch because my daughter was so engaged. I was highly on the fence about virtual but my daughter was very engaged. Overall, having all 4 services in one place for our family has been such a game changer! We love health pro and their open communication with our family. We are excited to watch our kids grow more and with such a caring team! This review is coming from a mom that's looked high and low for a great therapy place for her kids. :)

We find them through an approved list from our insurance carrier, Kaiser. The office is clean, & check in process was some of the smoothest I have ever experienced. No shoes are allowed once you cross out of the waiting room. The front desk ladies are friendly & really got to know my son in such a short amount of time. They always knew he wanted to show them whatever toy he brought for the day & there was always a sticker he enjoyed getting they'd let him pick out. Payments were automatic and I never had any issues there. Within one session with both ladies, we were able to get him using words we knew he had in there-they just helped him bring them to life. My son & I were both bummed when we ended services due to him starting preschool & getting the services while there. Emily really grew on him. He would absolutely light up seeing both ladies. My son, his attitude, behavior, and speech all elevated by coming to Milestone. The absolute patience the staff has is incredible. My son had a couple sessions of occupational therapy and we absolutely loved our therapist as well. I felt included in each of his sessions with all the ladies & there was something we worked on each week to improve the next. My son went from saying a handful of words to now speaking sentences. We game together and he fully understands that we need to take turns. Started off as a super worried mama, and left confident that we would be more than okay. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to Milestone. LOTS of parking & super easy to find. Delicious cafe not far from the entrance!

This review is for the scheduling and billing department and not the physical therapists…read more Poorly trained personnel on insurance claim and following up on patients when there is a doctor referral. I waited about 3 weeks for the clinic to contact me after our pediatrician put in a referral to see PT for my childs torticolis. When I did not hear back I called the office, the first lady said she could not find any referrals then I spoke to a second person that said the paper work sent over was incorrect. I told her since this is a time sensitive issue to go ahead and put me in as a private pay so at least we can start the evaluation and make future appts if needed. Made an appt for an evaluation, only to be called by another personnel to cancel the appt because they are not able to figure out if they are contracted with my insurance. I told them I would still want to come in for the evaluation since its already been over a month and I would pay as private pay until insurance is sorted out. I ended up seeing Miss Paige and Miss Hannah. Both are great PTs and did help improving omy childs torticolis. I ended up using 6 or 7 appointments, 3 months had passed and each time they wanted to cancel my appt because they couldnt figure out insurance coverage. Long story short I finally had to email all the claims and what my insurance had cover and my copays that I had paid for them to finally realize what was happening. Insurance companies suck I get it. I deal with them on a daily basis at my job. But not having trained personnel to deal with the insurance complexities is not acceptable in the health care industry.

She brought a bag of books and toys which she would switch out to keep our daughter interested. She openly addressed my concerns and gave me tools to help my daughter work on her speech outside of therapy. Our daughter went from sounding out one syllable words to speaking full sentences. At the end of our sessions, she was evaluated by the SLP for her school district and they determined she was meeting the age appropriate milestones and did not need further speech therapy. Despite the important work being done in the ABA field, the company consistently fails to support…read moreits employees in meaningful or sustainable ways. One of the most concerning issues is the lack of communication and transparency. Employees often receive no notice when clients cancel sessions, resulting in wasted trips and unpaid time. In such cases, you're either told to clean the facility (an unreasonable expectation outside the role of a Behavior Technician) or you're abruptly reassigned to cover another BT's session without context or consent. The pay is among the lowest in the ABA field, especially when weighed against the emotional and physical demands of the job. The work environment is poorly maintained, with cleanliness being a recurring problem. The facility does NOT look like those posted online. The children's bathrooms and common areas are often unsanitary, raising valid concerns about hygiene, safety, and the general quality of care. A particularly troubling practice is the use of personal items like wipes brought in for one child that get used on other children, without the caregiver's knowledge. Additionally, BTs are often left in the dark about health-related issues like lice until after the situation is already "handled," which puts both staff and other clients at risk. Unsurprisingly, the company suffers from a very high turnover rate, which reflects the broader issues within the organization and further destabilizes the workplace. Overall, they show little regard for employee well-being, professional development, or proper client care. Even by looking at the reviews the only 5 star reviews are for speech therapists, not from the work being done!
