And that was only for their required "consult" first. They refused to schedule me for a working appointment even though my dentist had done a zillion images. They would not schedule me until having that "consult." Absolutely no sense of urgency here. I had an abcess many years ago and it throbbed and my face blew up and I needed help then, not a month later. And the place I had found then (another state) resolved it in one appointment. This place obviously cares more for something other than the patient. From Medical News Today: "a person who does not receive prompt treatment is at risk of developing ...complications... "If a tooth infection has spread, it is a medical emergency. These infections can quickly become widespread and severe. In some cases, systemic infections can even be life threatening. Doctor Goldfaden and his assistand Rhonda made me to come for consultation first, we talk through about everything about my concerns and fear, they listened, gave advise, talk and made me feel so relaxed during entire procedure on my real appointment day. After the procedure doctor Goldfaden followed up with me 3 times asking how I am doing. You don't find doctors calling you home on his free/off work time nowadays. Doctor Goldfaden goes above and beyond. He is not a doctor only, he is a real human being and treat his patients like his own family. I feel like there exam rooms are very small and tight, which makes me feel somewhat closed in. With the type of work I have done, I have made many trips but have had very little contact with the dentist, and more contact with the staff. I had my consultation and xrays, so they could better address the next steps. I said i need this tooth out it is killing me and they had me back in 72 hours later. when i walked in they greeted me by name and no sooner than me sitting in the lobby, cause i 30 mins early, they had me in the chair prepped and ready. The dentist was friendly and gave a true air of concern for me. I was numbed up at least 6 times and never not once did i ever feel the needle. My teeth are primitive and so "rooted" deeply into my jawline, that it took twice as long as normal to get the job done. The thing was, I felt like it didnt matter, I know I was holding him up from getting to others. But he made me feel like I was his only patient and that it really was about doing it right, not doing it rushed. I know, just in how I was treated , that if ever I need dental service, they will be the place I will go.
