Dr. Houston recently completed a root canal and a crown. He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable and did a very good job on the root canal and the crown was made the same day. I don't think I've ever had a crown fit so good the first time they put it in my mouth. I highly recommend Heritage Dental. And both Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Houston. I've never had a bad experience and I've been going there for about five years now. read more

We're new to Florida, and finding new doctors and dentists after a move hasn't been easy. A friend referred us to Heritage Dental, and I'm so grateful she did! From the moment we walked in, Dr. Nguyen and his entire staff were professional, warm, and welcoming. The office is immaculate and has a beautiful, almost spa-like atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. I'm a true decades long dental-phobe, and I recently needed a crown. After visiting many dental practices over the years and in several different states, I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Heritage Dental. I was given a chair right in front of a huge window overlooking their lovely outdoor fountain. They even provided noise-canceling headphones with my choice of music. Somehow, what I expected to be a stressful afternoon turned into an unexpectedly pleasant one! Dr. Nguyen is incredibly capable, funny, and reassuring. Taylor, his associate who has been with them for years, was exceptionally caring, gentle, and efficient. Dr. Houston finished my crown placement with ease. And the crown? Beautifully done while I waited. One and done! The entire experience was a 10/10, and I'm a very tough judge! What impressed me just as much was the follow-up. The office checked in afterward, and Dr. Nguyen personally texted me twice to see how I was doing. That kind of genuine care is rare. Katie at the front desk and everyone at Heritage Dental played a part in helping to diminish decade of serious dental anxiety. I walked in as a dental-phobe and walked out wondering why I had been so worried! I would genuinely recommend Dr. Nguyen and his wonderful team to family and friends without hesitation. Thank you all so much for making an experience I usually dread one I actually feel good about! Elyse read more

Outstanding care from every single employee. Even had my name on the chalkboard to welcome me. Absolutely no pain in numbing me up. I even received a welcome card in the mail. read more

For anyone reading all the good reviews here, heads up: This place is so bad they will tell you you have a cavity on a tooth that has a crown. You cannot, a crown is artificial. They will try to pull the wool so beware. My new dentists alerted me to numerous bad practices re: "treatment plans" we paid for. They are after the money. They may do some good but that is the bottom line. Do not trust them. Personally, I would run. This is based on more than one family member after years of being their cough patient. No Duy, I'm not confused. I'm letting people know the truth. I was not your patient. read more

Minor correction...I do not live in San Francisco, CA Yesterday 7 December 2023 I arrived for the start of my Crown procedure. I received a warm welcome by many staff members and waited just a short time. I followed Melodie and was made comfortable for the crown procedure. 7 December is an emotional day for me but Melodie was very thoughtful, kind, and understanding and made my day much better. Dr. Nguyen arrived and again everyone was professional, polite, efficient, and treated me and other patients like family. From my first visit I knew this was going to be "MY DENTIST". I travel a little over an hour to get to the office, BUT it is worth it. I cannot say enough; "Thank you Melodie for making my day brighter". read more

I decided to try Heritage Dental of Lady Lake, FL based on their reviews. I should have known better...you cannot always trust reviews. I give them one star for their friendliness otherwise it would be zero. I had a crown put on a molar. First the temporary crown was shaped like a peg, it didn't resemble much of a tooth at all. It felt so awful in my mouth, glad it was only for a week. Then the permanent crown was put in by the dentist, what a joke. It is so much bigger than any of the molars in my mouth. I would venture to say that they gave me someone else's crown and not the one that was made for me. Not only that because of the crowns large size food gets stuck in between this fat crown and the next molar. I'm very unhappy with the job this dentist did. I would have thought she would have seen that something was not right with the crown before she cemented it in place. Then there's the enormous cost of this work. I'm just so disgusted. Needless to say I won't be going back. read more

We're new to the area and are so grateful to having found Heritage Dental! We couldn't be happier - and we recommend them highly! Their professional and personable staff is amazing. From the friendly hello at check in to Wendy's introduction to the practice, and all the way through X-rays and cleanings with Kayla, Kari, Mel, Renesha and Cindy, we could not feel more welcomed and at home. We also enjoyed meeting and talking and learning with both doctors Nguyen for our initial exams. I started going there after 3 years of Wildwood Dentist on Rt 44. It's nice to just have me teeth cleaned without the upselling of other services. Friendly staff here, nice view from the chairs. read more

Dr. Nguyen is professional yet caring. He personally called to check on me after my crown procedure. an amazing experience.

I had a dental emergency when one of the four temporary crowns (these were to be permanent crowns but Aspen Dental screwed up three times making them) came off while I was speaking, not eating or biting, just speaking. Imagine my embarrassment. I almost swallowed it and if you've ever seen what a filed down tooth looks like you know how embarrassing that could be. I immediately called Jennifer Tyler, office manager for Heritage Dental and Dentistry on the Square and she was able to get me in the same day. I was treated like royalty so I immediately set up a follow-up visit for an evaluation of the treatment plan Aspen Dental did. Dr. Cohrn and his staff were super efficient as well as super informative on explaining on how they would approach treatment for my dental issues and even recommended that some of the things on my prior treatment plan were not necessary which in the long run will save me money. I'm so thankful and can't wait for my next appointment with Dr. Cohrn. By the way, when you visit Dr. Cohrn, ask him or Jennifer Tyler how he/she knows Dr. G, former medical examiner for the State of Florida. Fran Romeo read more

I was very appreciative to get treatment there for a crown. They still use nitrous ( laughing has) unlike most dentists in this area. I have TMJ so this is necessary for my dental work. I did have to return twice ( the first crown somehow came out) however they quickly resolved the issue and in a timely manner. I recommend going outside the bubble ( the villages) for dental treatment.. read more

Truly the best clinic on the globe!!! I've been to many different dental clinics in different countries, but Heritage Dental is the best! Dr. Cohrn is the best! Changed dentists due to insurance but discovered at my new dentist that a root was broken off and left from a molar extracted at heritage dental. I can't believe I was never told and charged full price for this extraction. I wondered why it felt so funny and sensitive in this area and now I know. Not happy read more

Excellent Dentist and staff!! We have been going to him for years...I highly recommend!

Heritage Dental, Dr. Kenneth Cohrn's practice is a well oiled machine. From office staff which includes Wendy, the staff is welcoming, courteous and efficient. All of the operatory's are calming and most of his staff have been with Dr. Cohrn for 10 + years. Dr. Cohrn himself is a gentle, calming, professional and very skilled in the work that he performs. I have referred quite a few patients to his practice and they have all told me they share the same opinions that I have of this practice. Don't worry be happy!!!! Dentistry at its best. read more

Doctor Cohrn and his team never disappoint. When you go to the dentist there is a certain level of anxiety but at this office I always leave very content. I had a tooth pulled today and there is no pain at all. I am very thankful for Jennifer Tyler hooking me up and meeting her a a BNI group. And Alicia Ghigliotty thank you for making my visit so much fun. I love you guys. read more

I went to Heritage Dental for teeth cleaning and checkup. They did the checkup first and never mentioned scheduling for cleaning. All they cared about is the two crowns that they were able to charge me for. The first crown went fine. The second time, while drilling, I raised my hand because I could FEEL the drilling. I had to do this again. Dr Cohrn asked "is the pain manageable?" like he didn't want to give me another shot. I asked for a second shot. Actually, I ended up asking for a third shot. Then when I complained, he said "well it's not going to get any number, and I'm about 80% done". So basically he said "suck it up!" I could feel ALL THE DRILLING. We even joked that after 3 shots I may not be able to eat all day. But as I walked out of their office, I felt my cheek and there was NO NUMBNESS at all. So not sure if the shot solution was bad, or what happened. But bottom line is that Dr. Cohrn didn't seem to care that I was in pain. I will never return to Heritage Dental. read more

I was happy with my dentist but due to a new insurance carrier we had to use who the new company suggested. I didn't know what to expect. It was easy to find just off of Route 441 near Water Oak. I found all the staff were happy people and welcoming to all patients as they came in the door. The doctor and technician were very competent and performed appropriate tests including x-rays. The hygienist performed appropriately, also. The office was bright with floor to ceiling windows opening up to a waterfall feature outside and very clean. State of the art equipment. I was very impressed with the whole picture of competency. I left with a great feeling. read more

I was on vacation visiting my parents in The Villages and decided to get my toothache checked out.
