I don't recommend this trail if you're a newbie or starter. To the west, it's simple trail, heading to carbon canyon. To the east side its hilly and multiple trails can be found. From 1 mile to over 20 miles of trails can be found. Take water, take snacks, don't liter and careful with sun as it can get very warm during the summer. Great morning scenery and fantastic sunset views. Bathrooms exist at the stagging area. Lots of parking. Great area, quiet simple very affluent neighborhood. Possible horse trails are available, chk website or the city parks page. A rating of 4.5 to 4.75. Wish they had water fountains or more rest areas along the way. Beyond that... a great experience!

Wonderful place for a run! Or a place for nature perfection photos! PLEASE be alert when visiting my "'Terabithia" as with any nature preserve locations there are snakes, coyotes tarantulas and many other creatures that require distance and respect.

I brought an old skateboard one day to his practice and the little bowl was difficult to ride for me the very first time and there were some teenagers at the end so I didn't stay too long Now after riding skateboard for a while I go there to practice and have fun. I did fall there recently, but got up and got back on . Fun little bowl to ride.

This park is a great community area. There is a skate park, a basketball park, benches, tables, and kiddie jungle gym area. Also, large fields for competition games, clean and modern restroom facilities and rolling hills, trails, and a manicured landscape. Parking is near the outlets leading to the home tracks, and in addition, the trails are inclusive to the olinda oil and museum trail located to the Noth west of the park. For young people to older people, from walkers to joggers and bikers to skaters, there are so many opportunities. A strong 4.0 to 4.5 park.

The parking lot for this park is shared with the OC Sheriff Yorba Linda Police station. Enter from Yorba Linda Blvd and ignore your navigation! The park is tiny and private with VERY limited parking. Playground is for young children, like preschool aged. Restroom is adjacent to police station in the parking lot and not visible from the park. My grands are doing soccer camp here this week and there's no way I'd drop off and leave which was what was supposed to happen. One coach with no assistants and 9 littles? What happens if someone needs to go to the restroom? You can't send a kid from the field alone and coach did not take any bathroom breaks in the 3 hour period yesterday. Only one other parent stayed yesterday, and while there were no incidents, with 9 littles for 3 hours you're taking your chances. My 2 grands needed to go really badly after camp. So glad they made it to the bathroom there in time. Lots of folks walking and running the path around the field. I'm sure there are trails out of the park at the back side, but no parking access there. Be warned. Google and Apple navigation had me driving all around the back side of this park in neighborhoods without finding an access point. We should have been 10 minutes early to soccer camp but instead we were 10 minutes late. The coach said he had the same problem lol. ‍

Grassy area to run around but some people have their dogs off leash. It seems they play football here on the weekends as I saw the paint marking on the grass right before the weekend. There's a trail that connects this park to other parks. It runs along water so mosquitoes in some parts. We walked to Travis ranch youth park from here on the trail.

Come here regularly w my girlfriends for a morning hike and actually brought my family here for a Post Thanksgiving hike at 9 a.m. Recommended for a great outdoor scenery hike. It's an easy or mild hike. Not really strained and my kids were able to do it. There's a lot of hiking trails around the Redwoods grove too. They have cement benches for you to sit and enjoy the view of the Redwoods. A lot come here to take family photos professionally or with your phone too. Makes great greeting holiday cards. I'd park in the neighborhood or the street parking off Wabash & Prospect at the industrial business area and make my hike straight down to the Redwoods Grove. For free Parking and I've known a lot has parked at Box Canyon regional park. There you'll have to pay park Entrance and there's a parking right near the entrance from the Park, Brea side. I'll be back again with my girlfriends for a regular hike week or w my girlfriends.

You can definitely do residential parking and entire the hiking trail mid-way, but I wasn't too sure what streets to park on so just opted to pay for parking. The redwoods are amazing and I never knew this was nearby in Orange County, CA. Definitely a change of scenery and I loved every second of it
