I could not have asked for a better team to spend my wine tour with. Liz was funny, out-going, and always available to take a picture for you. We went to three wineries and each one had something special to offer. The lunch we had was exquisite. The brownie pairing with wine was amazing!!! My group had the turkey wraps, roast beef sandwiches, and the Cesar salad! Food kept us going as we sipped many great wines. I had a memorable experience and I am looking forward to seeing them again.

On the day of our reservation, Steven text me two hours before our meeting time that he had to cancel due to tour bus experiencing a coolant problem. Unfortunately, because I was driving, I read the text one hour before our reservation time. It was a 2 hour commute, and to find out the tour is cancelled one hour before was a disservice. Unfortunately, we couldn't book any other tours because reservations were full everywhere else, It was close to 11 am which most tours leave. Then, Groupon refunds me in Groupon bucks instead of original form of payment, and this was split between two people. Just a mess, I don't recommend Straight off the Vine, you never know you might get a cancelled text 1 hr before your scheduled time.

They couldn't believe how fun it was, and how much we learned about the city we have lived in for many years! Al does an excellent job telling fun facts about the history of Orange, (and even sells a book about the City of Orange which we have a copy of). While doing this during the Christmas season added the lights to the Wine Trolley tour, this is a fun event all year round. My friends are hoping we make this a yearly event and, another friend said she is planning to do this for her employees next year for their Christmas party. The Wine and food presentation and flavors are amazing! Al and his crew know how to entertain while you enjoy a ride through the City of Orange! All I knew is that there was going to be food and wine for duration of an hour and a half and so I was super excited about that! Once our group of girls got seated in the trolley our host for the night explained what our tour was going to entail. We were going to visit ten local restaurants around old town Orange and enjoy different kinds of wines along the way. We each got our wine sippy cup and we were off! As we drove around Old town Orange I really enjoyed learning about the history of the city as well as learning about some of the historic sites. I actually live in Orange and I never knew that the center park was actually called the Plaza and not the circle. When we were ready to stop at the first place I was actually surprised that we didn't have to hop off but actually the restaurants brought the food to us in the Trolley! Each place gave us a small introduction of their food and business and gave us some small bites of some of their popular dishes. By the end of the tour I was pretty stuffed. Our group had such a great time and I only wished the tour lasted all night long..Haha!

He was so friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable... and he let us pick the music (extra points)! We were a group of 9 and did the South OC pickup from San Juan Capistrano. The shuttle van fits a total of 14, so we were joined by another couple and pair of sisters, who thankfully, were really cool people, so it wasn't awkward at all. The shuttle van was very comfortable and Joseph provided waters and snacks, but you can also bring your own if you like. We visited 4 wineries in total, tastings and winery tours were included in the ticket price, and most wineries offer a 10-25% discount on bottle purchases through Best Coast Tours as well. You can even order your lunch in advance, not included in the ticket price, to be delivered during your lunch stop on the tour. We chose that option and enjoyed our lunch seated at a table on the grass listening to live music. Everything was so convenient and we really got lucky with the beautiful weather. Overall it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend Best Coast Tours to anyone from SoCal looking to spend a day out in Temecula without any of the stress of planning and coordinating. The ticket price is very reasonable considering everything that's included. Don't hesitate!

Our 1st stop was at Danza del Sol because they're the earliest that opens in the valley at 10:30am. Known for their whites, the Estate Sauvignon Blanc was my favorite there. They gave us a production tour before heading off to the next winery. Oak Mountain was everyone's least favorite. Sure, the cave tour was interesting, their charcuterie board was pleasant to the eyes and palate, though sadly, their wines were horrible. Lunch is not included in the package so I was able to choose where to go - Bolero at Europa Village. Reservations were made in advance, thanks, Joseph and he dropped us off there giving us about 1.5 hours before picking us up to continue with our tour next door. Our last stop for the day turned out to be my number one out of all the 3 wineries. Callaway has beautiful grounds, they have a more high end vibe, and the wines were better in quality relatively speaking. I enjoyed their 2019 Winemaker's Reserve Chardonnay, 2018 Wild Yeast Viognier, 2018 Wild Yeast Petite Sirah, and 2018 Wild Yeast Cab Sauv. I only wish we stayed outdoors to soak in the weather and scenery but the tasting was indoors so we hung out at the bar inside. We spent about an hour at each winery and by 3:30pm, we were ready to head back to OC. Joseph was a great guide all in all. While driving, he would tell us bits of interesting information about the wineries, stables, etc. we'd see along the way - very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Everyone had a grand time!
