KARL IS DA MAN!!! Two months back I booked a party van for about 20 people on a Friday night and it was honestly one of the best nights Ive ever had! Karl picked us up in a very nice clean bus on time and with a great smile, attitude. We all started popping off the bottles and drank on the way to very exclusive clubs in LA. Once we parked outside of Supperclub, Karl walks us all right in at 11pm prime time with huge lines outside. All of the bouncers treated him like the true Gangster that he is. After an hour or two there, we agree to head out because we wanted a more asian crowd. We all gather on the bus and head out to Metro and again, huge crowds and Karl walks us all in. Towards the end of the night, we all hop back into the bus and one of my drunk girlfriends starts some shit with some random beezy outside the club and they start fighting each other (oh god). But then all of a sudden, its seriously like a mob fight, dudes get in there and everything. Next thing you know, this huge ass dude gets me a headlock *frown face*, 2 seconds later.... #BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM....... KARL GETS OUT OF THE BUS AND JUST KNOCKS ON ALL THE DUDES ON THE OPPOSING SIDE LIKE A NINJA TURTLE MELEE VIDEO GAME!!! He picks up a few of us and puts us all back in the van and makes sure we are all accounted for before we take off. It's almost Terminator 4 status. After all the rukkas we are in the van tending to our wounds and next thing you know, we are home safely. Serpentine Limo is the only limo service I'd ever call again. The prices were very reasonable and they have all the right hook ups. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty for an epic unforgettable night. What a disappointment. I booked with Karl months before my August 17th event. I called the week of the event to confirm everything. The morning of my sisters 40th birthday party, I had 30 people waiting to board the bus. As it arrived, the driver informed me that the transmission was going out, we could not board the bus and there was not a replacement coming. The party was a huge let down. We had lunch reservations and had to scramble to put everyone in different cars. I called Karl the next week to see if he could do something to make it up to my sister... He said he would take $20 an hour off our next rental. Not acceptable and poor customer service. My sister will never have another 40th bday party. 30 people in Orange County will never use this service and I'm sure will each tell their friends not to use it as well. I found this limo/party bus service on yelp and I must say the reviews are very spot on. I had such a fun time for my 30th birthday. It was not in the itinerary to stop at a grocery store on the way to our destination but Karl did it for us anyway. After shopping around and price comparison/ reading reviews on Yelp I decieded to make a deal with them. I was sketchy at first just because other reviews mentioned a broken down vehicle so I didnt know if it was the party bus or not. But I rented out a black party bus for my 25th birthday from Inland Empire to Hollywood. For 15 people. The call was made late at 11pm and I was happy that I got a live person and not a answering machine like some other businesses that I called. The deposit was only $100 bucks to confirm my day reservation so I took advantage of that immediately. I also told Karl that I needed ideas of the place I wanted to go and he referred a party promoter they work with named Jamie. Which that was a completly different story to my bus experience. The day of my bday: The bus did arrive 10mins or so before 8pm (which is the time we agreed upon). On time! While people we settling in the bus I was talking to the driver to come up with the rest of the money. He tried to over charge me about $120 more of the difference of what we had discussed on the phone. I was lucky enough to pull up my online receipt via email that I had saved on my phone and told him I would call the number I had called prior to the reservation. To my surprise it was the driver I spoke to at 11pm a month ago and he said it was ok on the price we agreed upon...not cool on account that I got a baby heart attack. The bus provided water, ice, cups (even though on the phone they said no) and sodas...we did provide our own drinks that were allowed on the bus as long as everyone was over 21. The bus was clean has a tv, bar area, ac is cool, fire fighter pole (stripper pole) lol. Oh and cant forget bluetooth capability for your music needs ;) Our driver Karl was nice overall and did a pit stop for us so that we could go to the restroom near our location (as we requested). And even offered to take a group pic of all of us. (Now that was nice). We got to our location at the time we had anticipated since he wasnt a grampa driver or a need for speed driver... I only gave it 4 stars because of that extra charge that was being slap to me in the beginning of the night. But overall it was seriously a amazing night! I would recommend this business again and even my co workers and customers asked me how it went and with who I booked it with. I've told them that this is the service you want to try out. Despite the couple bad reviews I've read before booking. I just called this company after I saw a discount price for party bus which they advertised on their own website. He said he had no idea where I got the price. I told him it's on his website but he said rudely he does not remember it and hung up on me. I thought false advertising is against the law. We hired Serpentine Limo to transfer 38 adults in a party bus back from a wedding in Temecula to the Hilton hotel in Huntington Beach. Serpentine is very flexible and easy to work with and, not unimportant: one of the cheapest around. The bus, we were assured, was supposed to be big enough for 40 adults. We had 38 and it was very very tight. Still, we had a great time because of the music, the people and the booze. Speaking of booze, Karl was flexible enough to buy all the booze we ordered in our contract the morning of the same day we needed the party bus. That was awesome, and he definitely did a great job there. After the wedding we wanted to jump on the bus, but we were told payment was cash only, and we had to pay before the driver would start driving. This was a huge surprise to us, and we weren't happy about that, BUT I have to be honest: this was our mistake, because it said so in the contract and we had not read the contract well enough. Thankfully, together we could come up with the payment. Lesson 101: always read the contract. So the experience started out not too great, but that was our mistake. After payment we had a great time, those 2 hours in the bus. The driver was great and a calm driver, we hardly noticed we were in a bus (that might have been the alcohol though). In short: Serpentine Limo is very recommendable, but definitely read the contract well and make sure you don't have too many people in the bus. If you do your part, they will definitely do theirs. read more

I went on a San Diego beer tasting tour recently and Karl gave us nothing but first-class service. The limo was spacious and clean. Karl had everything organized very well from the moment he arrived to pick everyone up. Even though it wasn't part of the original itinerary, he took us to a grocery store along the way to grab drinks and snacks for the bus. On the way home he let us grab fast-food. I booked a party bus with Karl about 3 weeks before our event. I decide to do a brewery tour for my boyfriends birthday picking us up in San Clemente and going to breweries in Vista and San Marcos. Karl was super responsive whenever I had questions before the day of, and the whole process was completely painless. We had the max amount of people on the E450 bus (20) and although it was a little bit cramped everyone had a great time (I was originally only anticipating 15 people). The music hook ups were easy to use with everyone's iPhones and the stripper pole proved to be a priceless piece of entertainment for the group. We got to all of our destinations (4 breweries total) and back to San Clemente without a hiccup. All in all my boyfriend said it was the best birthday he has ever had, and the ease of service with Serpentine definitely helped the laid back/fun vibe of the day. In searching for limo services for prom, I was very concerned about the services and safety any limo company would provided. After calling numerous limo business', I ended up trusting Serpentine Limo. From the first initial call to get rate info to the last confirmation call/text and email with Karl from Serpentine Limo, all contacts and communication was pleasant and simple. Karl reassured me that the teenagers in the limo would be safe and the driver was excellent. He continued by informing me the driver's license types. Upon the driver's arrival, the driver was 10 minutes early, provided me with his cell phone and reassured me by informing me of his driver credentials. As a parent, I was very concerned for my daughter's safety, as well as the other teenagers. The kids were taken to prom and brought back on time with absolutely no problems at all.
