Our reservation was for 10 a.m. We were so excited yet, a little nervous at the same time. This was by far the most awesome experience ever! Our kids and us wanted to parasail and called OC parasail companies . We got some discount coupons from our hotel and called up OC .. they gave us about 20$ discount on each ticket which was useful. The price is based on height they take you. We took 800 Ft , which was for 79$ .. generally they take 2 or 3 people in a parasail ride . Nice and customer friendly . They take you in a boat and it takes about 2 hours to finish the ride and come back . One of our kids didn't want to parasail and they charged 25$ for him to come with us . I wish they let him free because he was less than 9 years and he sat on our lap. Parking was a bit messy ... Overall a good experience ... 4 stars ! read more

This was our first time parasailing. We booked only hours in advance on their website for the finale of our OCMD trip before driving back home. The costs differs depending on how high you fly. We went up 600 feet which is normally $80 but there are coupon codes on the website and we got $15 off on each of ours. The photos were additional $35+tax. The crew works for tips so also left $20 tip. For the experience it was priceless! The crew were very informative and efficient. We were one of three parasailing couples and it was all of our first time. Everyone was friendly and we chatted together on the boat ride. The weather was perfect 75 degrees no wind. We flew at 4pm. It was such a peaceful and beautiful flight. I couldn't have envisioned a better time and am grateful to have found this place! Would be glad to go again!! read more

Overall a great experience for my 15 year old daughter and me. Make reservations!! Jenn at the desk was super awesome - friendly and engaging. Cute too! ;) She patiently answered all my questions in a way that shows she shows cares about making customers happy. You know when someone is just answering questions robotically versus actually being attentive. She helped us find a time that fit into our "tourist" agenda. We even received a text reminder about our appointment. On the water our skipper (Kevin? Orioles fan, but we'll forgive that :) ) and Sam (Boston Red Sox fan, yay!) were personal and efficient. They played great music, too. Otherwise it was simple - they were efficient managing the equipment and piloting the boat, so it was a simple and fun experience, which to me is a sign of expert proficiency. There were six of us going up - three pairs on the boat. So the air time is...12-15 minutes? What you will note is the quiet and peacefulness up there. It's worth doing at least once in your life. We had such a great time! We went out of Talbot street because it was closest to our hotel. The guys were great, they were fun and friendly. They especially worked great as a team, you could tell they do it a lot :). I was a little nervous with the boat ride, only because I am not a huge fan of water, but they made the ride on the boat very comfortable. We also did the photo package. Use caution! We used this company on August 3rd, 2020. My son and I were the first up and admittedly had an uneventful 'flight'. A Party of 3 went up after us and shortly after takeoff began frantically signalling to be brought down. They were brought in and called the staff's attention to an unfastened carabiner supporting their chute! Once we got home and looked at the pictures the staff took of us, I zeroed in on the same carabiner and realized that ours too was unsecured for our entire flight (see picture). I called the company and talked to a person who identified himself as the owner. This person assured me that they have an excellent safety record and that the spring on the carabiner arm would have kept it sufficiently closed to keep us from becoming a statistic... looking at the pictures, I remain unconvinced (see enclosed...) Safety is achieved by design, not happenstance. I hope that this company takes my phone call seriously and will install measures to ensure that this never happens again. read more

We chose OC Parasail after reading other reviews. We chose the Talbot street location because we wanted to go over the ocean instead of the bay. The phone number on their website is for 54th street, so it was a little confusing to book at the location we wanted. Two adults and two teenagers. We chose the 800 ft line ($80) and we bought the photo package. Our photographer was not super good, so we have some photos that are partial, but overall we got many good photos. 6 people go on a boat and are up two at a time for 15 minutes per couple. AMAZING experience!!! A must do in Ocean City. The guys were so nice. There's little quaint bars/restaurants to eat at before/after. So worth the cost. Only thing I'd change/suggest - we purchased the picture package and the majority of the pics we got, my boyfriend's head or face would be covered the rope tether. Don't count on 2 spectators being able to go along if you have 2 parents wanting to watch. I booked online after calling and being told spectators were 1st come 1st serve and to come early to reserve your spot as they don't do that online. Well we got there an hour early and was able to buy 2 spectators tickets then 5 min before boarding they said coast guard regulations will only allow 1 since other parasailer's booked online. I told them we would have planned differently if we had known and they said it's ok you can still go. Then it was time to board the boat and the captain said only 1 was allowed and I had to get off and my husband went with our daughters and they issued a refund for 1 spectator. I could have bought another ticket and gone up with my kids if they wouldn't have misled me from the phone call. Now I missed out on my daughter's first experience parasailing! read more

My five year old went up with me and they made it amazing for her. My wife went up with our 12 and 9 year old and they had a blast. I will mention that tips are cash only so I had to go back to the house and get cash. No big deal but make sure you bring cash. I would highly recommend the photo package. I came here with my family. My husband pumped for our family to do this activity. We were greeted by friendly staff and they answered all my questions. Adam and Sam were very friendly and they cracked a lot jokes that made our first experience calming. They provided us with easy instructions that we followed. The parasailing experience was awesome and I loved had it ended with them dipping us in the bay, which was very surprisingly way for it to be 8:00 in the morning. I booked the reservation online for my son and his friend and then called to see how long the excursion lasts. I was told an hour. My son came back and said while it was fun, he was only in the air for about 10 minutes and the rest of the time was just a boat ride. We caught this place as soon as we got off the highway coming into OC and figured that was the place we would go! Captain of the boat and his coworker were very friendly and played great music. I would have liked a little more direction on what we were doing and how long we would be in the air for though. I wish we stayed up there longer than we did. Every year my two sister and I plan a family Vacation where all three of us get together with our kids and husband and we always bring the pops along. This year we went to Ocean City. We added parasailing to our agenda and it was the best decision not only did our 10 years olds , 15years olds, 18 year old children but our 66 year old father absolutely loved every second of the boat ride and getting in the air. Up up and away.... you'll see what it feels like to fly like a bird or a plane or a Superman. Ah the wonders of flight and now I and wife have experienced it sans a plane. The first thing in this journey of seeking altitude is finding the place. There is a sign on the road pointing to the rear of a run down little set of souvenir shops. You drive back and you see a restaurant but look right to the very left of the restaurant and there like an appendage sits a little hut with a sign that says OC Parasail go there. Step right up don't be afraid it's easy as pie to sign up and they will treat you right the whole team. The spirited and personable crew takes good care of you. First thing is they will take you out to sea, then quickly go over important safety measures, hook you up, strap you in the parachute and then suddenly it's up up and away into infinity and beyond...... well may not infinity but def up to 800 feet up. From that height you get the full view of the area and the boat looks real small down below. The floating experience is incredible, peaceful, tranquil, breath taking and really fun. You'll get your feet a little wet but that's all, it is very safe and virtually carefree so no worries. So go up there see the world from above with a bird's eye view, you won't be sorry. read more

PRICES: $80 for 800ft (I used a $20 off coupon on their website, so it was $60) $16 dollars for a person to ride the boat with you and $30 for them to take videos and photos while you're up in the air. Everyone on the boat gave them a tip; I did too because they were friendly, made the trip fun and very easy for a beginner. (Now for the details) I liked these guys a bunch! I went to them because the 2 reviews were alright and because they were near the hotel that I was staying at in Ocean City. Thing is, I ended up getting the wrong address and went to the wrong location! I assumed that the only location was on 312 Talbot Street, but ended up booking at the Coastal Highway location. I recommend you call ahead by an hour to make the booking so they know when you arrive and so YOU know what location they make the booking at. The two locations have different numbers so always ask! Because I went not knowing the area, the confusion got me lost but they waited for me to get there without launching without me. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to let me up in the air because I'm big, but they had big vests and there was no issue at all. The trip up in the air wasn't scary at all! Their boat raised you up ever so slowly so you don't notice the height increasing. Surprisingly, while you're that high there isn't any noise or wild wind. It was so silent it was therapeutic and meditative. I loved the view and how long I stayed up in the air. The great thing is they have the skill to dip you while you're still attached to the shoot. I kept telling them I wasn't afraid so as a joke they dipped and dragged my feet in the water for a longer distance than the others which was very fun for me and had the others on the boat laughing. The whole time we got out to the ocean they played nice music too. There was nothing bad about the experience :) TL;DR: If you want to parasail and never have before, I strongly recommend these people on the 5311 Coastal Highway location. They're more friendly than the Talbot Street one in my opinion. They play music as soon as you get out to the ocean so it's definitely a great experience. read more

My 17 and 15 year olds went parasailing with this company yesterday. They had a good time, but the advertising was a bit misleading. I paid for two 800 foot parasail rides. They forced my kids to ride together tandem because the boat captain didn't want to take the time to do individuals. No where does the web site, information, or employees disclose that the ride is for 2 people tandem, not individuals. My kids enjoyed going together -no issues there- however if they had not been together, they would have been paired with a stranger. The front desk was so kind & was happy to share one of their experiences parasailing. The boat ride out was very fun, and going up was very fun too, this was my first time parasailing. The only reason I give this place a 4 out of 5 is because we weren't told very much information, which the boat ride out could of been used to do so, although i felt safe the entire time, doing something like parasailing i would appreciate being told more about the parasailing process before doing so.
