Go karts are good. Mini golf is not as good as the ones in the main strip. I would not recommend getting the hourly bands. Even on a slow day, the wait on riding the karts put you at a disadvantage. On a busy day, the wrist are a waste of money. Good for about 2 hours of fun. read more

Our family of various ages from 3 years of age to senior citizens had a blast. We played mini golf and then all road in go karts. There are a ton of go kart tracks. There are a few tracks where little kids can sit with a bigger person in the go karts and it's no extra charge for the little one to ride along. Our 3 and 5 year olds had a blast riding along with us although I got some criticism from my 5 year old son that I drive too slow. There is also a track for kids as young as 5 to drive their own go kart and my 5 year old loved driving by himself. The mini golf was nicely maintained and the man running it was very friendly. The employees at the rides and go karts were also very nice. There are 2 rock climbing walls, a little carousel and a bouncy ride. There is plenty of free parking. I think this will be an annual family tradition for us. There is plenty here to keep a family entertained for 2 to 3 hours. The food counter wasn't open when we were here on a Friday so I recommend bringing your own food/ snacks. There are plenty of tables and benches to eat at. This review is strictly for the mini-golf. We were trying to kill time before going to Watermans for their Happy Hour Dinner Special and decided to play a game of mini golf. However, once we park, a man who is performing some maintenance on the mini golf course tells us that 3 of the holes were being worked on. He then tells us we can play for a discount and repeat 3 of the holes anywhere on the course, if we liked. The course was definitely in decent shape (we noticed at least one of the holes had fresh "grass", etc). I'd say the course was average difficulty; not super easy but not super hard (high par). Most holes I averaged a 2. I did end up getting a hole in one and my sister won a free game getting a hole in 1 in the final return hole. read more

First time at this place as the kids wanted to go go carting. Conveniently located off the main highway with plenty of parking (probably enough for the summertime crowds). There are multiple packages to choose from and the Staff push you toward the wristband which gives you unlimited rides for a designated time for about $40/person. The other packages and a la carte are pricy and the rides are not that long. We came during the off season so the wait per ride was minimal. However, during the busy summer months it is probably safe to say that you will wait in line. All in all, a good place to go if you are vacationing in Rehoboth or Ocean City. Wristband may be most price effective especially if you have teenagers who want to ride continously. read more

We bought the 2 hour pass for a family of 5 for $180 and that was WITH coupons. While the price seemed high, it was fun, I'm just not sure if it was $180 fun. The problem is that $180 seems high for two hours but three hours would be too long. You're not going to go real fast but that's not what this park is designed for. The workers could stand to take a customer service course for sure. They all seemed pissed off working there and seemed to talk down to or yell at customers. Overall, it was a good time. HORRIBLE. Go to one of the many other go cart places in OC! My son is 12 & we rode multiple tracks. We then get to the next one and the teenager operator asked him his birthday year and he said 2007, even though it's 2009, as he's just didn't know the year on the spot & didn't expect the question! It was the first person that asked him after all the other rides & no one asked. And you have to be 12 to ride any of them he was riding all day. The ride operator then proceeded to call my son a LIAR to his face. Didn't ask him if he was lying or ask me his birth year since I was standing close by, but flat out just called him a LIAR & asked him to leave. The Manager we spoke to did eventually let him ride but it ruined our time there. I don't take well to people calling others names most especially children. Watch out for some jerky employees. We came here last year and every single worker we interacted with was super kind! We came this year and everyone except one worker was kind. My son is not old enough to do all the rides but his brother is. My husband went with our oldest and I stayed with our youngest. Let me first mention we got there right at opening so there really is no reason for any worker to be over there job already. My son wanted to keep riding the family track, and whatever young worker with a red shirt on in the morning told my son there are other rides he should go on. I told him we did all the rides he could already but this was his favorite and he threw his head back and groaned then opened the gate. I even told him by us giving him work to do it would make his day go faster. After that ride my son didn't want to go on it anymore because he thought he made the worker mad. Besides that interaction they were all very kind and attentive to what they needed to do. If you get there early you can get a lot of rides in as long as the workers are willing to do their job. Also remember you get a round of mini golf after your time is up with the wristband which makes it more appealing to come here! read more

This is the amusement place that was right across from our hotel that I was so excited about. It was cool, but I think I can find better. Go-kart and mini-golf places are to Ocean City like wives and babies are to Texas cults. Got to feed the appetite of the population, right? Yeah, I know that was wrong. I'm not usually one to complain about this or that being expensive, but am I out of line here when I say $7-10 for 1 go-kart ride is pretty steep? I know the price of gas has gone up, but did this place decide they were going to start charging for hot air as well? Richie and I said,"Why not?" and opted for the twin-engine motored go-karts that were supposed to be way faster than a normal go-kart. No, don't think so. They have about 4 different tracks here, which is cool, but none of the tracks looked really fun - the one we went on was ok. They get bonus points for having bumper boats, though, because those things are awesome! We played a round of min-golf right after the go-karting and the holes were difficult enough to be fun and the landscaping was nice, but really, what genius decided to put tiny pebbles in the beds next to the putting greens? Can we say, brain-trust? It was annoying, but not too bad as it only interfered about 5 times. Lastly, their bathrooms were just plain disgusting. Foul, icky, nasty, ugh, horrific, gruesome, abhorrent, reprehensible, I'm running out of words here, badong, but you get my point. So, I go in.....walk into the stall and see someones mustard-colored ass leakings on the floor like twin quarter sized poo puddles giving me the stink eye. Then, I see the anal explosion on the back of the seat and parts of the wall. I was horrified!! So, I went in the other stall and warned the mom coming in with little Billy that it was not safe. To top it all off, jokes on me, no toilet paper! Yay! Visit if you can't find bumper boats anywhere else, but I'm sure you could find better mini-golf, better cart tracks and obviously better restrooms. There's no where to go butt up in that category. Wrist bands advertisements suggest that there's all sorts of things you could do with the wristband but the fact of the matter is that if your kids are older than five it's really just go karting. Spent six bucks on a bottle of soda and bottled water and was told I had to pay another two dollars to get a cup of ice for it. Manager was completely unhelpful... Made a pit stop to Baja's with wife and two 14 year olds and it was one of the highlights of our weekend trip to Ocean City, Md. The go karts (in different mini racing car styles such as F1, Indy and Stock Car) with pull string engines were faster than expected...but don't expect to go towards 55 mph. The karts can do at least six lapse or more (within 3 minutes) around the different race courses. The tracks are winding (which makes driving the karts fun) and well maintained. The karts were also well maintained. There were no annoying gasoline odor lingering on our clothing. If you're planning on a Baja's visit, the best time would be when it's not crowded (the emptier the better). We were able drive the karts around the tracks with just the four of us with no bottlenecks or slow "traffic" (other than the wife). The prices are reasonable (probably the same as other nearby go kart amusements). Coupons are widely available at the motels/hotels for $1 off the price. read more

After our frustrating effort to go to Jolly Rogers we headed over the bridge to Baja. SCORE! We went late afternoon, and scoped the place out. It's basically just go karts, but that is what we were after. This was a family event for us - 7 yr old, 9 yr old and 2 parents.... and I don't particularly like go karts, but my hubby and kids always have, so ... The 9 yr old could drive in 4 tracks, and go without an adult! ( I still went the first time... to make sure she was A-OK... but admit to singing "Jesus Take The Wheel" to myself the entire time.) The 7 yr old could RIDE with dad in those same tracks, and passengers don't have to pay! SCORE. So dad and the 9 yr old got arm bands and rode those tracks several times. We also did bumper boats as a family a few times... and since my youngin' and I were riding with others with an arm band it didn't cost us anything. Plus there was a rock climbing wall for the 9 yr old (and she made it all the way to the top on her 3rd try). And for the 7 yr old, a kiddie kart track which he liked enough to ride a few times (we did have to buy him tickets when he was not passenger, but he was having a GREAT time, so it was not an issue). And while one was on a kiddie track and the other climbing a wall, Dad got to ride a couple of the faster tracks... and I took pictures. We were ALL happy! :) Since there were no lines - NO lines (we were there 430 to 630) - we really didn't probably need 2 hours, but we used every minute and the kids left happy. During our stay at maryland, we spotted this place while traveling to the boardwalk. The amusement park has different roads/types of go karting. I don't remember the names exactly but no matter what you pick you can't go wrong. They have different packages and even ones for a few hours. We chose the 10 ticket package since we were on time schedule. It was definitely fun and worth it going here. They have a rock climbing section as well but once you "fall" or come down that's the end of your turn. They have a water go kart where you can squirt water at each other. Bottom Line: Definitely a fun experience for all ages. Great packages to play on go karts, rock climbing and water go kart. A must stop at when visiting Maryland. read more

Place is not worth it. It's $34 for a one hour wristband. We spent $175 on our family to get into the park. Once we were in we got to ride 2 rides before they started questioning my sons height. We made sure to measure him at the entrance and he was 58". We waited in multiple lines and got told he was not tall enough. Employees were not helpful and rude in explaining why he couldn't ride. The worker at the Bullet track told us that "he just can't ride" even when we told them he'd ridden 2 other go carts. When we finally questioned it and asked why, the worker at the slick track told us that "he would have to start firing people." I truly don't think this is an appropriate response to the situation. We were told we couldn't get any compensation for waiting in lines as that took up the most of our hour. All together we got to ride 5 rides in 1 hour. Definitely not worth the $34 unless you're an adult and have no height requirements. My son was able to ride 2 rides by himself that were also 58' height, but he couldn't ride anything else that was the same height. It made absolutely no sense to us. If you go, don't buy the wristband. You'd be better off buying regular tickets. read more

"CAVEAT EMPTOR!! BUYER BEWARE!!" I'm usually not one to write reviews for places but the other night's experience was so troubling that it's worth it. We were a pretty large group with 4 families present - from kids to grandparents, ages 14-80 represented. We've been coming to ocean city for years and decided to do some go-karts at Baja this time around. The night was going fine until one in our group got cursed out by the workers for "bumping" a few times on one of the tracks. Not all of us were there, but thankfully it didn't escalate as those in our group merely ignored it and went to a different track once the turn was over. Now, as evident in other reviews of Baja, I understand they admittedly do not hire the most respectful employees. And let's be honest, having teens working for your company can be a risk. But it doesn't excuse the F-bombs hurled at a young member of our group for bumping. Nor does it excuse the same rude demeanor we were met with by the management, which I'll later explain. We were frustrated once we heard this, but still had tickets so we went to another track. By this point we were all together with some of us on the track and the remainder on the outside watching our friends and family. On this track there was apparently some bumping and a few spin outs on the tight turns, which of course led to bumping/light collisions. On our second go around we were slowed down* and directed to the pit, being told our ride was over. The staff (and the owner of the establishment) were there and had disgruntled, angry expressions on their faces. We were very confused at the brevity of the ride. It must have been no more than a minute and a half of racing. As we got out of the carts and inquired what happened? The owner ignored us. We asked again and he said "ask him!" as he gestured to the 14 year old in our group. Staff members directed us out as if we were a group of punks or hecklers. When the parents and older individuals in our group (ages 40-60), some of whom were riding on that last ride, attempted to approach the owner, he was already on the far side of the track as if he knew he was wrong and wanted to avoid addressing us. From there the manager, Valerie, and eventually the owner again began confronting us in a very harsh manner. We tried expressing that we would like a refund for just that last ride, which cost a hefty $9 per ticket. We were told "no" and when we asked why were ignored again. When expressing that we were mistreated and that we would be writing a negative review, the manger would just repeatedly say things like, "good, good." And "Okay, great. Bye bye now" in a sarcastic tone. It truly felt like negotiating with a child. So they eventually exhausted us and we saw we were getting no where with them so we made our way out as they "escorted us" to the parking lot. I'm still surprised at how unprofessional their demeanor was. Now I'll be the first to admit the customer is not always right and that we did in fact "bump" a few times. However, I wish we would have been warned before the ride or that only those who bumped would be stopped rather than the entire group. It ruined the night for everyone - even the riders who did not bump at all. And besides, with such a larger group of people, we spent a significant amount of money on all the tickets, so you would think they would be a little more respectful. As a final note, I completely understand that go-karts are not "bumper cars" and shouldn't be used as such. However, being a go-kart race track, it is inevitable that some bumping will occur - especially since the track is not very large and has tight turns. They should have done the right thing and stopped us to warn those who bumped (and who may have done so accidentally). Or, since they did stop our ride after a minute and change, they truly should have reimbursed us for that last ride. Reflecting on the night, I can only assume management's vision for the facility is every driver distanced 6 feet apart with no passing each other. Essentially, just a gasoline merry go round. So, if that sounds fun to you, save yourself the pricey $9 per short ride, find an empty parking lot, and just drive some gentle circles there instead. But in reality, I've been coming to OC since I was a child and my suggestion is just stick with the tried and true family fun - mini golf, the boardwalk, ice cream spots, etc. *it seems they can automatically control each go-kart remotely through some kind of speed governor. read more

An employee at the Family Gran Prix course told my sister and I, "I don't recommend this ride, it's the same as the other family ones, nothing special." He clearly didn't want to work and his two friend employees were also laughing. We told management who supposedly spoke to them afterward. The karts are all-inclusive for the most part.
