We made plans with this driver and two days later a few friends who originally couldn't join us, were able to swing tickets to our wine-makers dinner making our group larger and now we needed a limo or larger vehicle for our group. Promptly we contacted Jim / private driver by phone leaving a voicemail and text message expressing that we had a change of plans; would contact him in the future and apologized for any inconvenience. [See the photo]. NOTE: we cancelled six days in advance. What happened next was beyond unprofessional. This is one angry dude: women beware. He sent multiple text messages, one stating that [not verbatim] "Since you can't afford a Temecula wine tasting tour".... [LOL, I just got back from New York and Canada]. Mr. Cozzi went on angry; " maybe you should go drink wine ...blah, blah, blah" [some nonsense]. Another Text: " Lose my number ", "you are a pain in the aXX" "you're a total waste of time, I don't value your business", "don't bother contacting me again". Very angry indeed. But worst than that text my friend's message some thing politically charged about being, "a snowflake" [Isn't that a term invented by some extremists? or politically charged] Very unprofessional, very angry and volatile. Be careful of any business that only accepts cash. Our plans were tentative, and our communication to cancel was not based on any certain contract solidified by a deposit, because you can't send a CASH deposit via e-pmt. Overall, this is an example of a very unprofessionally run, micro business. Poor etiquette. A real estate friend of mine and his partner are celebrating and planning to do a wine tour of Temecula after a small gathering at their new estate in De Luz and I had recommended this private driver. Unfortunately, after receiving these damning texts, my friends cancelled hiring Jim. The silver lining is that we had an awesome time in Temecula and enjoyed the beautiful views and an awesome dinner at "Leoness Cellars". Their brut champagne [sparkling wine] is excellent! Keep a few things in mind: [1] In the span of five + hours, just as in other visits to Temecula, there were no [none] CHP in the back country. Jim tried to hard sell me that the cops are everywhere up there. Why be tethered to a driver when you can easily drive yourself ?Enjoy a few leisurely paced days touring the unique wineries here. Jim's response below is a manufactured, complete lie. Final Note: in Jim's response, he originally stated that I must be competition, but then edited it lying that he "rejected this guy". The truth is in the displayed, rude and unhinged text message I have posted, which shows that in fact, we did have to cancel. This was due to having more people join. We simply told him that we had a change of plans, he never knew why until this review was posted.

After the review was posted we were contacted and scheduled a tour for yesterday. My parents drove 45 minutes to meet in Temecula for the tour only to have nobody show up, and nobody answer the phones to find out what was going on. Funnily enough, groupon was able to contact them immediately to "confirm they are scheduling tours" while we have yet to receive a response. This business is either a scam or horribly unorganized and unprofessional- either way I would recommend never doing business with them.

He did not communicate that I needed to pay him the full amount PLUS his entirely subjective amount of "GRATUITY" which he felt he deserved before the job was even completed and before he would even leave his house to go pick up my friend. Out of desperation as it was now two hours past the original pick up time I agreed but he continued to repeatedly scream into the phone at me shouting "IF I DON'T SEE THE FULL PAYMENT IN MY ACCOUNT I WILL NOT PICK UP!!!" He then proceeded to give me the wrong phone number for his PayPal account, a phone number I verified with him by sending him a screenshot before I sent the money. And yet, it was still incorrect. So, now PayPal is holding $144 of my money for 30 days while they wait for this man to open a PayPal account which won't happen because he already has a PayPal account, he just gave me the wrong number for it. Speaking of PayPal, again because I was desperate, I sent another $144 to the correct PayPal he gave me which brings me to the PayPal case I had to file which was not because I said he didn't return the money it was because I did not receive the full amount back because he stuck me with the $4.31 fee they charged I guess because his was a business account. All this yelling has left this man extremely confused and incapable of communicating with other human beings. Either that or he needs to lay off the sauce.
