Damaged Bezel
Erik R.

Came here and they ended up damaging my radio bezel in the process of replacing the windshield it had gouges and multiple cracks. Gave me some money back for the part but ended up being only half of what the part actually cost. Tried to say they don't even go inside the car so on and so forth to avoid taking blame until I brought up the fact we have photos before of it in lerfect condition before dropping it off. Terrible work and wish I never used this place. Make sure you take photos and videos before any establishment starts the work to have proof things weren't damaged before leaving in their hands . They also scratched the glass which I can't get a good picture of. Stay away from this place if you don't want to have to worry about your car being damaged.

Window prior to getting it replaced

Car window was smashed in, I called to see if they could replace the window and they got the glass within 3 hours and replaced the window in 30 minutes. Super convenient, quick, and affordable service. If you're in need for windshield repair or replacement, this place is worth checking out.

He put his Chicago electric saws all with a spatula attachment on top of my cup holders with out any care of he damaged my interior

You get what you paid for customer service is ok but the end result was shoddy at best the windshield is crooked one side is higher up then the other which you can tell and my car had no damaged prior to him ripping off the windshield with his tools as you can see the images below I take great car of my car and for him to damage it like that is not okay. Do not do business hear if you to keep interior not strached up and damaged hopefully he does the right thing and pays for his damages. The image where the scratch happened was when he started to scrape off the black sealer from my vehicle with a Chicago electric sawzall with a steel spatula attachment I should of gone with safellite sure it's more expensive but they weren't gonna damage my cars in te riot and exterior.

I don't write a lot of reviews but this place has got to be THE BEST place if you ever need…read moreanything repaired. The staff was helpful and was able to give me really good rate. I called around and he was actually cheaper by ALOT! Do your research and call around you'll see this guy was super competitive with rate. Also he was able to fix my window same day and included the matching tint. Jay and his staff was awesome I recommend 10/10!

Don't Get Your Windshield Chip Repaired Here…read more Don't let the lower price fool you. Spend a little more and get your windshield chip repaired professionally. My initial quote was $65 for a repair that would take approximately 30 minutes. I agreed to the price and brought my vehicle to the shop. An assistant started the repair, and although I'm no expert, I noticed there was no attempt to wipe down the area or remove any dust around the chip. I figured maybe that was normal, so I let him proceed. He drilled into the chip, which I understand is a standard part of the process. However, when he attached the injector bridge with the suction cup, it was clearly not adhering properly to the windshield. Throughout the process, I watched the suction cup repeatedly come loose and move around, making me question whether it was maintaining a proper seal. He also used a lighter to heat the glass from underneath, assuring me that this was normal procedure. He eventually applied the filler resin, covered it with clear curing film, and scraped it off after about a minute. The entire repair took approximately six minutes, excluding the curing time. The result? Absolutely no visible improvement. The star-shaped crack looked exactly the same as it did when I arrived. I talked to the owner afterwards to express my concerns. He told me that sometimes a chip repair looks the same even after the repair is completed. I'm not a professional, but I would expect the work area to be cleaned properly and reasonable precautions to be taken to prevent contamination during the repair. To his credit, the owner offered me a refund, which was appreciated. Looking back, I probably should have accepted it. However, I wanted the chip repaired, so I gave him an opportunity to fix it himself. While he worked on it, I researched whether a failed resin repair could be corrected. I learned that once resin has cured inside a chip, attempting another repair can be difficult because the existing resin may prevent additional resin from properly penetrating the damaged area. After approximately 12 minutes, including about eight minutes of curing time, the second attempt actually made the windshield look worse. The additional drilling left what now looks like a tiny, pen-tip-sized white hole in the glass. This entire experience was frustrating and a waste of both time and money. Although the owner initially offered a refund, I believe he should have carefully assessed the damage before attempting a second repair, especially after the first attempt had failed to produce any visible improvement. UPDATE: reached out to Jay and he refused to provide me with a refund on his botched repair.

I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for your auto glass needs…read more My experience with Safe Choice Auto Glass was extremely frustrating from start to finish. Unlike their previous operation, where you could easily reach a live person and they would help coordinate directly with your insurance company, everything is now handled through automated text messages. I was never able to get a live representative on the phone despite multiple attempts. After being told to contact my insurance company myself and open a claim (something Safe Choice used to handle for customers), I completed the process and attempted to follow up. Again, no answer--just more automated texts. Eventually, I received a text message to schedule an appointment and booked service for 8:30 AM on Tuesday, 6/2. The problem? Nobody ever showed up. No phone call, no text, no email, and no explanation. I wasted my entire morning waiting for a technician who never arrived. The company advertises itself as "#1 in Windshields," but based on my experience they might be #1 in not showing up to do the work. This level of communication and customer service is extremely unprofessional. Customers shouldn't have to chase down basic information or sit around waiting for appointments that are never honored. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Safe Choice Auto Glass and would encourage others to consider a company that values its customers' time and provides reliable communication.

The prices may be a bit more, but I live by ," You get what you pay for". The guys who work here or manage the place are very kind and nice. Respectful men. The owner is extremely kind. You can't help but feel good doing business with good people like these people. This place is located near the DMV, library, good will, restaurant, and post office. It's also closer to a bunch of small businesses. There's a small waiting room here, air conditioned. 3 seats, free drinks, WiFi, phone charging station, and restroom available. Either find a ride home or plan to stay here about 1-2 hours. I'd bring all my family cars here if I could. They help you make a decision with which tint to choose, if you need it. They don't make you feel rushed. Cool people.

I will be there later this week to show him the damage to the vehicle and review the camera footage. Here is a picture of the scratches we spoke on the phone about. 10/11/26 I'm updating my review for Mr. Tint and I am deeply unsatisfied due to the damage to my vehicle I am finding. I got home from work to take another look at the window tint on my truck to see how it's settling in and I find my left passenger door window seal cut from the when the window was measured and cut. I will inspect my windows on the inside and outside in more detail tomorrow when there's better light outside. For a place that has such high reviews, I would expect better treatment on customer cars when performing work. Especially that this car is brand new and fresh off the lot. No matter the value of the car whether it's $20K or $70K like this one or even higher end, all cars should be treated with extreme care like their own. This is simple business integrity.
