Five stars is not something I give regularly. It's sort of like saying "I Love You" or "Thank You…read moreFor Your Service" too much, it loses its meaning when you just hand them out willy nilly. However, Surface Specialists deserves 5 stars. I'm beyond impressed with the service and the end result. Nick was awesome to work with and cleaned up everything when he was done. He even offered to come back to do a free touch up when my plumber removes the tub drain plug that he was unable to remove. He also did an expert job of re-caulking the tub afterwards and fixed a few minor little dings that this poor ugly old tub had. It looks like a brand new tub! My tile guys were so impressed I gave them Nicks number because they not only had two people who immediately need this (and he's been trying to find a good refinisher) but he gets requests all the time. It's a pleasure to recommend someone you really like, who does a good job and seems trustworthy! Word to the wise: no matter how much they vent the bathroom via your built in fan and their industrial one you better just stay WELL away from the area being refinished. I was in the room next door and got very loopy smelling those fumes.

It took less time than I expected due to the efficiency of working the tubs in parallel, working one while the other is drying. Both tubs look fantastic, better than new if that is possible! I recommend Nick at Surface Specialists without reservation.

I am very disappointed with their service repairman, Curtis Miller, today…read more After he did the repair, he asked me to sign his paperwork. I told him the repair was "still visible" and wrote such on his paperwork. He said it was impossible to hide the repair. The service repairman then refused to let me take a picture of the document that I just signed where I wrote "still visible". In fact, he snapped his folder shut, not letting me take my picture. I said I knew the owner of the furniture company and would communicate directly with him that the repairman was very disrespectful. The repairman then hit my doors with his tools, damaging such. I am nonplussed to say the least.
