It's been kind of rough finding a place to enjoy food that is fresh and not overpriced. I avoided this restaurant because I don't go out to eat Italian food being Italian. I walked in and saw the black tablecloths and thought well it's probably gonna be overpriced and like most Italian restaurants I'm not gonna like the food but I will enjoy the company. The menu is filled with so many non-Italian options. Watching the food come out of the kitchen and go to different tables. It was hard because everything looked so good and presented so well. I hadn't had fish tacos in about a year other than the ones I've made at home and mine are not the greatest! Haven't figured out the sauce yet anyway these were unlike anything I've ever tried before, but definitely delicious. I ordered french fries because it came with chips which I thought was kind of weird. It still is kind of an odd option to go with fish tacos, but my girlfriend across the table for me got these homemade chips so much that she had to take them home and they're delicious! French fries were fine. They weren't anything over the top special but they were good dipped in their homemade blue cheese! So good! After everybody got there first entrée, I was so hungry and watching her eat her side salad I ordered one. It's not huge, but it's fresh and it's four dollars! Seriously I couldn't believe how good it was. I love blue cheese and when she told me it was homemade I was skeptical. Definitely delicious. All three of us really enjoyed our food. Our waitress was real attentive. The restaurant was not overly full, but it was busy. The inside is clean and beautiful. I found another gem! My experience during the last stay has convinced me that I made the wrong choice in picking the Holiday inn Express. Although check-in was fast, the room we were given had a view of a rock pile, and the clock did not work. Had to ask for another room. Was given a room with a nice view. Second day, housekeeping never came to our room. When I asked the clerk about it was told they left for the day. Had to ask for a new room. Given a room with an upgrade (or so I thought). Upgraded room had serious problems with the toilet- appeared partially blocked. Fortunately we were out of there the following day. In all three rooms, the chairs squeaked, and beds seemed like they were from a flophouse. TV didn't even carry ABC. Breakfast was OK - the cinnamon rolls were the only bright spot. The front desk clerk was very helpful despite the circumstances. Never used the pool - but looked like it needed a resurfacing. Learned my lesson - Country Inn and Suites - next time. Hope its better than what I just experienced.

We couldn't believe how late we slept. The complimentary breakfasts are always appreciated. there was a small indoor pool. The staff were very helpful .. they even had a dry erase board with suggestions for local things to do, restaurants and bars. Nice touch. chaise lounge with adjustable table was comfie and nice touch. long desk if you are doing business stuff. they didn't have little bottle of amenities .. full large size bottles attached to the wall.

I love the decor and the faint music in the background. We had the spicy whitefish bites appetizer. Wow, delicious! The perfect breading, fresh light fish, with a spicy dipping sauce. We wanted to order a second helping! This is a nicer sit down restaurant. They were busy for a Saturday afternoon. All the food leaving the kitchen looked good. If we had more time, we would have stayed for lunch. Super friendly servers. I hope to be back in the area and have a full meal.

The one side is a restaurant, but the bar side is so much cooler with neat architecture and decor. It's fairly small inside, but service is always good.
