The owner was nice enough to follow up on the service to get feedback too. I'm not sure of the pricing since my car is still under Mazda's warranty but their service was spotless and professional. I called my insurance company but the company they provided couldn't assist me as I needed the car towed back to NY. After doing research and seeing good reviews, I decided to give Quality 1st a call. The dispatcher, Peter, who I spoke with was very professional and courteous. They were ready to send out a driver within 30 mins. Unfortunately I was not ready as I needed to have the vehicle moved away from the turnpike through Emergency Services and needed my other family members to come with another vehicle as I had to transfer my personal belongings and family safely. After informing them I was ready, they were still able to have a driver out to me within 30 mins. The driver Chris (I believe this was name, apologizes in advance), was quick and took care of things right away and carefully. He brought my car safely back to NY. I would highly recommend this company as the service was great and pricing was reasonable.

When I got back, they had just determined that I didn't need brakes after all. Instead, they fixed the sound of metal on metal that usually signals worn brakes--but my pads still had plenty of life left. This wasn't the first time Joe put honesty before profit. On a previous visit, he sent me to the dealer because my issue was likely under warranty--turning down business to save me money. Both times, he charged me next to nothing, and honestly, I felt guilty. I first met Joe because he did amazing work for my son, and now I won't go anywhere else. Twice now, he's had the opportunity to do unnecessary work, and twice he's proven his integrity. I even told him most places would have just taken my money. If you're looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and honest mechanic, J & J Automotive is the place. Joe is a blessing!

Made an appointment for a couple days out. Took about an hour for them to do it. When I went to pay it turns out they're charging an extra $9.50 because my car needed 6 qts instead of 5. I specifically asked for a quote on MY make and model car and they quoted 5 qts... Wait it gets better... They also charged me an extra $14.95 for an oil filter!! $3 for oil disposal and $1.99 for shop supplies. Never in my 20 yrs of driving and getting oil changes have I ever had to pay extra for a filter, shop supplies or to dispose of oil! THEY ONLY REVEALED ADDITIONAL CHARGES AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE WHICH WAS DONE ON PURPOSE TO DECEIVE ME CONSIDERING THE OIL AND FILTER COSTS $38 BUCKS. The shop was busy, and upon arrival I parked in a spot I believed would not interfere with operations. In hindsight, I acknowledge the parking may have been improper. When it was brought to my attention, I immediately apologized and took full responsibility. However, during the conversation inside the shop, an individual who appeared to be in a supervisory/owner role said: "So you come here in a Tesla..." and "The Indian decided to come to my shop and park across three spots like that." I had already apologized for the parking issue. My race had absolutely nothing to do with the situation. Referencing my ethnicity in that context was unnecessary and inappropriate. If my vehicle needed to be moved, that could have been communicated directly and professionally, and I would have done so immediately. Instead, the interaction escalated to include a racial remark, which made the situation hostile and unprofessional. I am not posting this to create conflict, but to accurately document what occurred. I hope ownership addresses this appropriately so customers and business representatives are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.
