They seem to have a difficult time recruiting doctors, and that might be because the pay is lower? I hope this changes in the future. 2) The clinic is growing, and that usually results in the staff being put under much more pressure to perform-- I've started noticing this already. Please Herald, take care of your staff, and don't become depersonalized. 3) The acupuncture doctor is truly gifted. He was able to address my issues almost every time. He's the best acupuncturist I've ever had. But from the beginning he seemed to answer some of my questions in a flippant way, as though he just wanted to do the needling and it wasn't his job to address anything verbally (I think that is part of the job). It at times also seemed somewhat disrespectful. And not sure about his, but my last two visits seemed shorter (wish I'd checked the time). Because this all makes me uncomfortable, I don't think I want to go back to him. 4) Lastly, I could not get through to the on-call operator after-hours one day, recently. In the past they had someone available for after-hours calls when it was urgent. Have they ended this service?

I explained to the ER doctor, my biggest concerns of traveling and her health declining. I felt very supported and heard when he agreed to run multiple tests to ensure that she would get the care she needed. After enduring all the tests, it was found that she was going to need surgery and I know it was because he took my concerns seriously and listened to them. She had the best surgical team and every person we encountered was kind patient and answered all of our questions. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It did take a long time however, it makes sense cause we went to the ER. The ER is busy anywhere you go. Overall, our level of care was exceptional.

I have always appreciated healthcare workers because I am one myself, and I understand how…read morechallenging the healthcare field can be. However, my recent experience at Kaiser Zion's Emergency Room has been extremely disappointing. I went to the ER because I had a horrible headache, a fever, and felt absolutely miserable. I have been to this facility several times in the past for kidney stones, but this visit was very different. I was charged over $900 for what appeared to be vital signs and a COVID test performed while I was still in the waiting room. I was later taken back to receive my results and was essentially told that I had COVID. I was not given any medication or provided with any meaningful follow-up care. Because this was an emergency room visit, I paid my $500 copay at the time of service. Imagine my surprise when I later received an additional bill for more than $400. I submitted a grievance because I have insurance and still have not received a clear, detailed explanation of the charges or the billing codes associated with this visit. My concern is not simply about the cost. It is about transparency, accountability, and understanding what I am being charged for. I should not have to worry that questioning an unexplained bill will negatively affect my credit score. There is seriously something wrong when a patient pays a substantial emergency room copay and then receives another bill without a clear explanation of the services being charged. As a healthcare worker, I believe patients deserve better communication and transparency regarding their medical bills. I have been with Kaiser for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, it has made me seriously reconsider whether I want to continue with Kaiser when it is time to choose my insurance for next year. I hope Kaiser takes these concerns seriously and provides patients with the billing transparency and accountability they deserve.

Not only is the care impeccable, but the staff members themselves are all so kind and compassionate and easy to talk to. The owner Jen puts her whole heart into this business and truly cares about her patients and them getting better. Reagan and Dominic are extremely professional and kind, they remember every detail about each patient and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your treatment. We come here over 40 times each round, 5 days a week and honestly look forward to walking in every day because of the staff. The office is clean, everything is brand new and they have anything you can think of-clean bathrooms, TVs for every chamber, snacks, water, blankets. It is truly the place you want to go if you need hyperbaric therapy in San Diego.

I was checked by a staff outside the imaging lobby area. She was busy typing, like seriously typing and did not bother looking up. Awkwardly, I must have stood in front of her for a good minute or so. Just she and I and her computer, click clack typing away. No, " I'll be right with you, just give me a sec, pls." No one else present but us. I did make my presence known by touching the desk and moving around a little. She finally looked up, excused herself as she began coughing. She also explained herself that she was not sick, just a dry cough was all. After all that, I was verified and received my band in no time. Yay. She asked that I have a seat, pointing to the wall on her left. Compared to Bonita location, I felt alone. As I was the only one waiting and sitting in rows of empty chairs. I would give them a solid 5 stars as the care of my GP and the staff are wonderful. However, I recently was laid off and went in for an appointment to pay out of pocket for. No blood work, labs anything; just taking with a doctor who was filling in for my GP who is out. I was told that the estimate was $216 without any labs or other work. I paid in full. Then, I received multiple phone call saying I owe and addtiinal $84 and I asked for what. The person calling said that I signed a form saying it was only and estimate and I had signed it. I asked why the higher amount and they admitted that I went over the time allowed for a visit. NO WHERE on and form I signed did it state "you have 20 minutes with a doctor and any time over that will be billed". So, they said they would look into it and contact me. I asked to speak with a supervisor and that person called me back a few days later and said the same "well, you signed a form" which I asked again to tell me where in the form it states that I there is a time limit if 20 minutes". She rattled off some codes and said I could look them up online and I again asked to show me where it states that there is a 20 minute time limit. She repeated herself again and finally, being fed up, I said I was disputing this. She said they would look into it and someone would get back to me within 48 hours. Almost 2 weeks later, I am still waiting. Be wary if you are paying out of pocket for a general visit if your time and ask if there is a charge for being over 20 minutes. Again, no blood or lab work, only blood pressure checked and doctor looked at an area of concern on my chest and spoke to me about a nerve disorder I have. That was all they did and I left.
