Went in for the first time, and was very happy with the service overall. I did have to wait 20 mins before they took me but everything after that was amazing. I got a wash, hair cut and blow out. I had Jaspreet and he was super professional, tentative to what I was asking for and had great suggestions that made me love my hair cut as a result. He definitely understands his clients well. I got a balayage and hair cut from Sammie and I was very pleased with the results. She gave me the exact color that I was looking for and got rid of the orange undertones in my hair, she also explained how I could maintain and manage my hair. Sorry to say but this Oasis salon and Sammie as a Balayage expert has to be the worst experience ever. Bad service, the Balayage was a joke. The timing was ridiculous (She kept me waiting around forever) and was keep doing other peoples hair in between or disappearing with her boyfriend to Tim Hortons, who is the owner, while bleaching my hair. It took her almost 6 hours in total to get my hair done. The end result was a yellowish colour and not the soft beige I wanted. She then told me to come back next week to tone the hair again and "fix it". She charged me $350 for this!! I left this salon with a headache from the stress I had there. Worst Balayage I've ever had - please it's an insult to charge what they did for the service received. When I came back after a week, she didn't do my hair as promised and let a helper, who was most likely an older family member and clearly not a hairdresser do my hair. She then toned my hair to a completely dark brown colour. I was extremely disappointed to go through all this trouble just to end up with the exact same hair colour as before. I see a lot of negative reviews which totally surprises me. I came to Oasis on a recommendation from a friend and im so very happy I did. My hair is fabulous! I have the stylist (Komal) a half assed idea Of what I want and she honestly worked magic. Im super picky with my hair. Always have gone to hair my Reema and oasis(Komal) was amaze! I wish I can rate this place no stars, but this one star goes to the receptionist that works at the front who tried to compensate with my sister and I for our pushed/delayed appointments; she is kind. I went in for a haircut with Sammie for layers. She finished in about 15 MINUTES, which was super quick but I didn't think too much of it, until I got home and saw how it looked when my hair was fully dried. It looked super choppy and just really bad. I tried straightening it, but the choppiness was extremely noticeable and every layer was uneven. I, myself, work at a salon so I asked a few of my coworkers (who are hair stylists) on their opinions on how my hair looked and they were in disbelief with how terrible my haircut looked. Luckily they were able to fix it within AN HOUR and now I'm finally happy with my hair. I'm an inch shorter than I wanted but that's only because they had to cut off that much to fix the mess. I'm super disappointed because Sammie has done my hair the past two times (one was layers on my long hair which was fine, second was when I went short and she cut it shorter than I wanted, but luckily I ended up liking that on me) which is why I made sure to get my next appointment with her again. Unfortunately, I walked out with the worst haircut ever (should've learned from the mistake she made previously). I was already upset over the customer service my sister and I had received but to go through all that just to get a choppy, uneven, layered haircut was just not worth my time or MONEY. I went to Sammie 2 years ago because I needed to get my hair color fixed. I told her that I want to go light but don't want orange hair and the girl delivered! She has made me leave with a smile everytime I went in. Everyone is so welcoming at the salon. I won't be changing my hair stylist anytime in my life now. She is the one! During COVID I emailed her a picture of my hair and she replied back immediately saying she can hook me up with a take home toner to keep my hair light till my next appointment, whenever that happens. Upon seeing others getting their make up and hair done here, I decided to book an appointment for hair and make up for myself and two others. Walking into the salon itself had a very professional and clean environment. Everything looked fancy especially the decor. Nancy and another lady (didn't get her name) took us at the appointment time and worked on us in a timely fashion and focused on our hair first and then our make up. Nancy and the other lady were really great and they took their time to listen to what we wanted and made sure to meet our expectations. We were very satisfied and will definitely go back! read more

This is by far the worst salon in the entire Ontario!! I have been to so many salons but this one was very disappointing. The lady named Nancy there is by far the rudest person I've ever met. She was so rude to me when doing my waxing! She does not have respect for anyone. Also the price they told me before waxing was completely different from what they charged me, as they charged me $60 when they said it was $40. They just wanted to make more money. I am so upset!! Went in to touch up roots. Got the same thing done before. As I was getting my hair done, the hair stylist told me what the price was, then coming up to cash while leaving, the owner herself tells me her prices have gone up. She did not care to tell me WHILE I was getting my hair done or BEFORE. Instead she lied and wanted to make more money. Therefore, left no tip. Extremely angry. Also, they are always speaking in their language, very unprofessional. Will never go back. The salon is very nicely decorated with great products, but service received does not!! read more
