Top tier roofing and construction. David Hoover oversees the roofing part of the company…read more About 7 years ago our Mexican clay tile roof was partially damaged by a hail storm. About half the roof, along with 7 skylights were damaged. The insurance adjuster just wanted to replace the damage sections but David argued that these tiles were no longer manufactured and any other tile would not match the dimensions or the color. Hence, all of the roof needed replacement. It was a 2100 sf house plus 600 sf garage that required 30 squares of concrete-based hail resistant tiles. They could not do the repair for about 4 months, so a crew was sent to tarp the roof. 4 months later they started, took about a week with an 8 man crew. Result was absolute perfection. Super teamwork and craftsmanship.

I requested 4 estimates, but it LORENZO'a CONTRACTORS who were awarded the task. When LORENZO showed up to make the estimate, he took measurements ( just like the others), but then he stayed (just UNlike the others) and handwrote an estimate on the spot. Then he thoroughly discussed every element of the proposed work, ensuring all of my questions were answered. He then told me that this estimate (it wasn't cheap, but not too different from the other) is now a contract--IF I let him know soon. After looking at the other emailed estimate--all prices were similar, except for one, (who was way too low)--I unhesitatingly called Lorenzo to find out how soon he/his crew can come to work? He received the contract because he gave extra time explaining/discussing the entire procedure, from beginning to end--the others merely introduced themselves, took measurements and departed; no discussion/no explanations/nada. I definitely was NOT comfortable with that! Anyway, Lorenz/crew started mid-next week, beginning with removal of the ancient duct and temporarily storing it outside out of the way; they did remove/clean up everything. I was extremely impressed with their efficiency, neatness, and staying masked IAW CDC/local COVID19 guideline. Since Lorenzo is the jefe, I also asked him about adding a pigtail from the breaker box to my Northside work area . Sure enough, he had excellent electricians Benjy & Joshua working long after normal work hours bringing this vital connection up to code. I was extremely pleased with LORENZO'S CONTRACTOR, and they obviously have my coveted "iWheel of Approval!"

So the previous owner had A Mountain Roofing come out to do maintenance / repairs and the repairs that were supposed to be guaranteed! I can only imagine what the previous owner paid for said work. We had a leak so we contacted A Mountain Roofing. Name withheld came out to inspect their work / the drain and roof. He said that the pipe in the roof was cracked! Then proceeded to tell me that the roof needed OVER $20k in maintenance / repairs! The same person also told me that to fix the leak would be over $1,100.00 to repair and another $400.00 for drywall. We called another company and they came out then pulled the cover and inspected the drain. They asked to use the garden hose to run water in the drain just past where the roof meets the drain. They ran water for approximately 10 minutes with no leaking. And said that they would send a crew out to re-coat the inlet to the drain. Then that night we got rain and NO LEAKS. I then contacted the A Mountain employee and said that he was wrong and the issue was the coating around the inlet of the drain. He then accuse me of lying to him. Why would I lie to him? I just wanted the leak / drain fixed The company that fixed the leak charged $250.00 and asked if I knew the paint code or color so they could texture and paint. I told them I have paint and needed to do some touching up I will take care of that. Remember the quote from A Mountain of OVER $1,500.00 and that didn't include painting where the leak caused the paint to fall off. My worthless .02 cents is go ANYWHERE but A Mountain Roofing for roofing‼ The A Mountain employee was a smooth talker and a SALESMAN and could have cared less about the situation that should have been his responsibility! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A-Mountain Construction & Roofing exceeded every expectation we had, and I cannot recommend them…read morehighly enough. From start to finish, Taylor and his entire team demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality that is truly rare. What initially began as a roof replacement turned into something far more complex, and this is where their dedication truly stood out. Rather than simply addressing the surface issue, Taylor and his team took the time to thoroughly investigate and identify the root cause of the problem. It turned out the leaks were not just due to a previous roofing issue, but also related to the brickwork outlining the top of our home. Instead of overlooking this, they remained persistent and solution-focused until the problem was fully resolved. The craftsmanship throughout the project was outstanding. The stucco work was impeccable, blending seamlessly and elevating the overall appearance of our home. Inside, the ceiling repairs were handled with great care and precision; Jose's sheetrock work was exceptional, restoring everything beautifully and with evident pride in his work. Every member of the team was respectful, communicative, and highly professional. They showed up on time, kept the worksite clean, and treated our home with the utmost care throughout the entire process. Most importantly, we now have complete peace of mind; no more leaks, and our family home looks absolutely beautiful. Thanks to A Mountain Construction, our home is not only restored but truly market-ready. If you are looking for a company that stands behind their work, solves problems the right way, and delivers high-quality results, A Mountain Construction is the team to trust. Save yourself a headache and some money, and call Cruz's Heating & Cooling first…read more I decided to replace my 15 yr old, 5 ton packaged unit when I was having my roof re-coated. It still worked, but it wasn't very effective (10 SEER) and I had several concerns with the electrical, ducts, and gas line that I wanted addressed. I received quotes from the big advertisers around town (you know who they are) and its easy to see where all those advertising dollars come from. They showed up, didn't look at anything (never even got on the roof), and provided a quote on the spot (a high quote). Cruz's Heating & Cooling (Joe) showed up the same day I called for an estimate and brought his lead technician to carefully inspect all of my concerns. I explained what I wanted, (brand, 2 stage heat/cool, SEER rating, etc...) he promised to get me the best price he could and called me the next day with the price, a fair price, and he offered the same finance options as the competition. Once I gave the green light, Joe worked with my roofer to coordinate the install and had the unit installed within a couple of days. My new American Standard A/C was reasonably priced, quiet, efficient, and most importantly was properly installed.
