One - often the washing machines and/or dryers are out of service and with a family of six that can be frustrating. Two - the water was shut off one evening and there wasn't communication to the tenants affected and did not end up getting resolved until almost midnight. Given it was 40 degrees, I wasn't going to take myself or my toddler and infant to the showers available within the park. Three - we had an issue with a VERY rude employee but luckily her poor behavior was addressed and is no longer an issue. This was a HUGE step up from the park we stayed in previously and I will definitely be back to bring my boys in to visit because they love everyone.

The staff of the RV park left a note on the "late arrival board" for us that had our spot number, along with a package of bottled water. I thought that was sweet at first, but turns out the water at the park had an unsafe amount of nitrates in it and they were just trying to be safe. Anyway, it was a lot quieter and cleaner than either of us expected; not counting the time we were asleep we were there maybe three hours, in and out with no hassle. Exactly what we needed.

The park overall is ok. There were many tenants there that had things in their lots like workout benches, junk and furniture. There was a business across the street on the back of the park that had a high pitch beep that went all day and night, I could hear it while in my trailer with the doors and windows shut. Nothing agains the park. but there were tenants there with political flags and confederate flags that I found offensive. This was my daughter's #1 memory from our whole trip and we spent 3 days in Big Bend - but apparently sledding down the sand dunes beat out all the cool hikes and stuff we saw (she's still talking about it). Honestly, this was so affordable and could be hours and hours of fun, along with the beautiful desert views that you could enjoy on hikes. The place is littered with dog poop everywhere, making it unpleasant to walk around. There are abandoned RVs throughout the park, giving it a rundown and neglected feel. To make matters worse, people park in your designated spot without any consequences, and management allows others to move your personal property without permission. The so-called manager and co-owner are unprofessional and do nothing to maintain order. If you're looking for a safe, clean, and well-managed RV park, this is NOT the place for you.

However, we moved after a few days to this park, and we couldn't have been happier. The pool, the gym, the laundry room, the pond are all such wonderful amenities that are such a rare treat, especially in this part of the country. Not to mention, the staff that works and maintains the park are all really wonderful, and care about the facilities, and want to keep it clean and nice. Huge thank you to Rhonda and the rest of the staff for making our accommodations workout while we were there - they really went above and beyond to make us comfortable while there.
