NEVER GO HERE!!!!
Short version-Had lashes done, had a HORRIBLE allergic reaction (no ones fault), returned to have them removed AS STATED ON THEIR SITE, was refused. They would not remove my lashes as they promised on their site. My eyes were swollen, extremely red and painful and they claimed it wasn't bad enough to remove them, claimed I must have done something. At NO POINT in time did I ask for a refund, just the removal and they REFUSED.
PS-Give LAVISH your business, they are way better!
Long version-Got my lashes done here for the first time because she had great reviews and her work looked amazing. Lashes look great, but about 5 hours after I had them my eyes started getting red and itchy. Called Oasis and the gentleman that answered the phone told me to take an antihistamine and if it didn't help to call back. By that time it was already close to their closing time. It did not help, it actually continued to get worse. The next morning my eyes were EXTREMELY red and my eyelids were swollen and beyond itchy. I called several times, but it was before they were open (about an hour before their posted open time) so that was understandable. I decided that I would just go in as I was told to let them know if it didn't get better and to get them off to stop it from worsening. I understand at this point none of this is their fault, clearly I was having some kind of allergic reaction and there is no way she could have known.
Here is where the 1 star comes, I'd NEVER go back or send anyone there for ANYTHING.
I show up about 30 minutes before their posted open time, open sign on in the window and doors open, I had called not 2 minutes before pulling into the parking lot, no answer. At this point my eyes are PAINFUL, my eyeballs hurt. I walk inside and a gentleman greets me. I tell him I had my lashes done the day before and I was having a bad reaction and I wanted to get them off (stated on their site if you have a bad/allergic reaction they will remove for free immediately). He looks at me and doesn't say anything just walks to the back. He comes back with the lady, and I believe she is the owner, and she looks at me and asks 'what's the problem?'
I kind of look at her confused because there is ZERO way she can't see how bad my eyes are. I tell her I'm really uncomfortable and believe I'm having a reaction to the eyelash extensions and would like them removed. She then says 'your eyes look ok, just a little red, you must have done something while you were sleeping. You just need to give it a couple days'
NO... I have zero desire to go blind (Realize that's being dramatic, but you don't mess with things that cause your eyeballs to hurt and look like you just rubbed lemons on them.... anyways)
I ask again that I please would just like them removed because I'm really uncomfortable. I didn't want my money back, I just wanted them off. She looked me dead in the face and said she could fit me in at 5pm or the next day in the morning, it was 9:30am and NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE! She then follows that with, 'it'll only take 10-15 minutes' I then just asked 'Can you please do it now, like you say you will on your site if you have a reaction?!' She then tells me what she said before, it's not her lashes, I must have done something. I was just floored, and uncomfortable enough that I just wanted to figure out how to get them removed without ripping all my real lashes out. I said 'forget it, I'll go someplace else' and walked back to my car. I called my husband because at this point because I was fired up and my blood pressure was probably through the roof so my eyes were getting worse and I didn't feel comfortable driving. End of a long story, I went to another lash place, LAVISH, as soon as I walked in they got me ice for my eyes and I was seen in MINUTES. They felt bad charging me but I insisted on paying because it wasn't their lashes and they were so amazing and kind. Having the reaction was no ones fault, the way Oasis handled what should have been simple and human decency was absolutely abysmal and disgusting. read more
