Shocked by all the good reviews because my friend and I had an unpleasant experience here. Our nail techs did not talk to us except to try to get us to pay for a more expensive option. My nail tech was on his phone the entire time making calls and texting. When he massaged lotion into my hands, he pulled on my fingers so strongly that it hurt. Despite me crying out in pain and jerking my hand away, he did not lessen his grip. Finally, after he sat me down to dry my nails, he walked away and didn't return to check on the nails. The second coat was applied sloppily and left huge ridges on the sides of my nails. The polish puckered so much that I can feel the indentations with my fingers. Absolutely not worth the money, wish I could have a refund and my time back. Rude service and sloppy work! read more

I was disappointed at my experience today. I just got home and am beyond upset with what I have just paid for. I was there with my friend who started getting her treatment done right away. I had my feet in the water for 30 minutes waiting for someone to come to me and at the 30 minute marker someone came. I asked for a tropical pedi spa and all the materials for it were brought out but wound up just being given a regular pedi. With that being said my friend also got a regular pedi and I was somehow done before her. The paint job is not clean and not at the ends of my nail. You can see all the filing that was done at the ends of them. And I did not realize that I was getting a regular pedi done until it was too late and he was already almost done with the first coat. Needless to say I did not enjoy my experience here. read more

After getting several bad manicures in a row at a different salon in Kapolei, I have been looking for a new salon. I walked in to Oasis and was immediately helped. I saw Christina who was so friendly and easy to talk to. She gave me exactly what I needed and I'll be back to see her. I also got my eyebrows waxed. They trimmed, waxed, plucked, and then talked to me about how to make my eyebrows almost identical. She then filled them in for me which was so sweet. This place is all around awesome. The decor and chairs are adorable! Also, if you come on a Sunday morning when the parking lot looks closed for church, the front two rows are reserved for other businesses other than the church so there IS parking. read more

Oasis Nails - Gel manicure in Plum Wine - Nail Salons Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

I did my nails a week ago and ever since last week my toe has been swollen and infected (see pics). It hurts so much, and I've been soaking it because it helps take the pain so I can walk. I got gel on both manicure and pedicure and my manicure is already chipping so much. I don't do anything crazy that would cause my nails to "chip". The whole point of me getting gel was bc I was told it would last long :/ enjoyed the era in there and the massage Update: it's coming up to be the 3rd week since the appointment and my toe is still swollen and painful to put pressure on. I've been soaking it but it only takes the pain away temporarily. My manicure all chipped and started peeling last week so I just ripped them off. read more

I have to post this review before even leaving the parking lot!! I have been getting manis/pedis for like 20 years now. I have never been to such a classy, friendly, clean, and fun salon! This family owned salon is just perfect. While getting my pedicure, my phone beeped to signal a low battery. Immediately, one of the gals offered to charge my phone for me! They are so kind and welcoming. I will be coming here as long as I live on Oahu! Thank you so much for today's experience!! Much Aloha! (Or much "Ohio" hahaha) read more

So I'm the type of person who never sticks to one nail salon. The previous nail salon I went to was going to charged me $65 for a full set (kind of ridiculous for simple nails) and I never went back. When I saw one of my friend's Instagram post of her chrome nails and tagged Oasis. I just had to go here. I brought my sister with me since she wanted chrome nails as well. My first impression of this place: it. was. beautiful. Lol. I love the chandeliers. We waited about 5 mins since we did come in a little early. It was "young man" who helped us. His real name is Paul. But he told me his name was "young man". Anyway. My pointer finger's acrylic fell off and he was more than glad to fix it. He also fixed my coffin nails because he said they were uneven and looked more square than coffin. I had a mini anxiety because he was filing so fast I thought he was going to nip me like I did before 2 salons ago. But he didn't! He was so quick and so great. He did both me and my sister's nails so beautiful! He didn't even force me to get a pedicure. It's so cute that he also has his kids to help him out. So why 4 stars? I'll save my last one for my next visit. But hats off to this place! They're new but so good, so friendly, and he didn't file for days. read more

This place made me feel so rushed. I got a pedicure and a manicure BOTH were done within 20 min. I think that's a world record. My daughter had a longer and better service than me. She started before me and I still had to sit and wait till she was done. Her lady took good care of her. I had 2 males doing my pedicure and manicure. The massage was good on my pedicure but it felt like he was trying to hurry up. Even my manicure wasn't pleasant at all. As he was cutting my cuticles it kind of hurt because he was going so hard on it. When it was time for my massage he literally massage only 1 of my arms and the other arm he just spread out the lotion and it was done. Even my toes kind of hurt, when the guy was cleaning them. I'm really not happy with the price I paid for the service that I had. They are pretty pricey. And the service isn't worth it. I will take my business to another place. This is my second time I've been here and both times I wasn't too happy with my service. I was giving them a second chance but they still prove me wrong. I will not be returning here. read more

Booked an appointment with a friend. I got a pedicure and full set and my friend a full set. I was seated for my pedicure and showed the lady a picture of what I wanted, white polish with a silver glitter fade (ombré). I was horrified at what she did. I told her that is not what I asked for. She mumbled and blamed me and spoke in her native language to the lady next to me. She then painted my toes all white and told me to do my nails while they dried before she would do the glitter. The gentleman that did my nails was nice and did very close to what I asked for. I was pleased. As my nails were drying the lady that did my pedicure bent down and did the remaining portion of my toes. I finished and paid, $97 before tip. I get home and my toes are still a joke. Picture#1 is what I referenced as an example, #2 first attempt, #3 what I went home with, #4 is of acrylics. read more

Wonderful service. I love this salon in Kapolei!! It is more pricey compared to other nail salons but they are worth it in terms of ambiance, quality and customer service. I am a Yelp addict and I usually go to royal nails and trust me I love them they give me no problems, just wanted to try something new. But take it from me, This place is horrible! I wish I could've given this place 0 stars. The nail techs have a horrible attitude btw. They DO NOT tell you the prices. It says on the menu $30 for full acrylic and $28 for feet. First of all, the lady doing my feet was horrible. She was hurting me while cutting and filing my nails. With my hands, I got a long ballerina set and I wasn't expecting to pay more than $65. My total comes out to $86.40! Supposingly they charge extra for length and shape. So I tell her that nobody informed me of the extra cost, and she tells me she can cut them down. She made them so ugly and gave me the BIGGEST attitude. I was on the phone with my boyfriend and I told him "this place doesn't tell you what costs extra, this sucks" and upon leaving, the woman tells me "I'm sorry, but please don't come back to our establishment again." Don't worry lady I won't. My boyfriend (who paid for me) then goes in to the nail salon and tells them he wants them to remove it and give me my money back. They give him attitude and tells him they INFORMED me of the prices (lies), and that they'll be loosing money if they do that. And what?! If the customer isn't happy with their nails they're always right! Well I already did them and didn't wanna get them removed since I didn't have time to wait since my 8 month old son was already getting fussy, I just left. Trust me though, I am HIGHLY DISSATISFIED. SHAME ON YOU OASIS NAILS! This is a picture of what she left me with. If you want a great and cheap nail place, I recommend royal nails. They actually tell you what they'll be charging for just saying. read more

I normally go to Cosmic Beauty in Kapolei only because their quality in everything is good. But recently, Ive been having trouble with booking three people. They just wouldnt accommodate me. I needed to find a place that would sit 3 of my party and I really needed a pedicure. I found Oasis Nails. I actually always pass by before going to Costco and never really thought to try them out. I made an appointment 3 days before and they were gladly to fill me in. When we checked in, we noticed that there was another lady waiting. But because we made an appointment, they made sure my party was seated first. I really liked that because some places do not care about the customers who previously made appointments. They only care about the customers who came in first and not appointment based. My boyfriend and I got the deluxe pedicure and I think I will be getting that from now on. Goodbye Cosmic Beauty. I didnt get the name of the guy who did my pedi, but he was really good. He made sure my toenails were uniformed and the same shape. He also made sure that the nail polish was put on perfect. I surely will be back because I want to do both a pedi and mani. I also want to try their eyelash extensions because its at a reasonable price. What I also look for nail salons are their cleanliness. Oasis nails uses clean utensils. You can tell because they get it out of a bag right in front of you. Some places reuses their equipment and dont even bother to clean them. At least this places takes it out a baggy and i am pretty sure they were sterilized. read more

I love this place! The cute girly decor is just the "base" of what you get here. Very skilled nail techs, very detailed and incredibly friendly. Made me feel right at home and relaxed! Paula is my go to girl and she is amaaazing! Garden Nails used to be my regular spot but I've switched to here! This nail salon is way better than alot of places I've been to. Making me feel welcomed and comfortable is one of my top priorities, after all I come there to pamper myself I got a gel mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. I forgot Paula's aunt's name (so sorry!) but she waxed me. I have pretty full and thick natural eyebrows, and I have NEVER left the waxing chair with my thick brows still on! I mean I'll come out and it's thinner than when I came in but this time?! Oh my gaawd, she cleaned up my brows, made my arch higher, redefined the overall shape and made them look the best they have ever looked in my life. This is the place to get your brows waxed! They really know what they're doing all around. Oasis Nails is my go-to spot! read more

I'm never coming back here again. I heard good things about here from bretman rock a while ago and I went in and the tech just made me feel so unwanted. When I walked in with my other half (both large people), she said "wide stretch" and laughed. When I asked for a baby pink French with pink acrylic base, my tech told me my skin was too dark for me to get the pink I wanted. Instead put a nude base and the most hideous pink French. The French til doesn't even meet the sides of my nail. Every nail is misshaped. I still tipped and still treated them nicely and let her do what she wanted me to do but after I left I just cried. They just really hurt my feelings and I can't bring myself to go back. read more

It really sucks to write this because my experience was AMAZING! But my nails aren't so amazing. My pointer and thumb broke the next day, and I'm not in any crazy work environments I literally sell phones all day. No lifting, or intense labor. I came in and had it fixed, and I also asked them to redo my thumb, which was verrrry bumpy, so she buffed it and put polish over it. It's now a day later and the top of my nail polish fell off, it's still bumpy, and it's still peeling from the sides!! I do not want to go in again for the 3rd time. But my tech was the sweeeeetest thing on earth, and I appreciate her trying to fix it :) read more

Did a mani-pedi (gel set) and was a little disappointed. So they do have a huge following and apparently they don't take appointments, so our group of 5 were there first thing in the morning. It is a family run business which I was very happy to support, and as with anywhere you have your good techs and your bad, I think I ended up with the later, or it was simply an off day for them. I've had paraffin treatments done several times, their wax wasn't anywhere near as warm as I expected, I didn't feel a huge difference in the softness of my feet after. Then when completing my gel nails, she filed down a couple of my nails so much that both were in pain for days after, on top of that my acrylics were crooked. So all in all I had 2 different techs and my takeaway was not anywhere what I'm used to. But I'm definitely only one of hundreds of customers they have, and probably because I'm not a regular I didn't get the same type of treatment. But please take my review like a grain of sand, the group I was with have gone multiple times before and each of them have had bad experiences, but when they get lucky enough with the good techs they have nothing but positive things to say! read more

I've started coming here regularly a few months ago. Don't have a "Go To" person. I always get a gel pedicure and any tech that is available. I have never been disappointed by the nail techs. Always friendly and do a great job. I brought my 10 year old daughter for a back to school treat. She had a manicure and pedicure and Pinterest inspo for nail art. She had an amazing experience. She had a gentleman do her toes while a sweet lady worked on her hands. The nail art came out gorgeous and they collaborated with my daughter on design ideas based off her Pinterest inso.
