Amazing experience, Mai is the best! Always nice and relaxing environment and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great Thai massage. read more

Yumi was my massage specialist, fantastic massage, knew where muscles needed work, I did 60 minute massage, would definitely recommend!

1. They charge $8 to use your card or $4 per person not sure what one but that's illegal in California. 2. They offer couples massage but it's in separate rooms and don't say it until after you pay 3. You pay before the service and after YOU WILL BE HARASSED for a bigger tip, they might take your card and refuse to give it back (they did to us) unless You tip more. 4. Very unprofessional and rough. Far from an oasis lol read more

This is the first review I've written in a very long time, I had to write this one. As a veteran with back issues, the VA gave me the option for outside Acupuncture and acupressure treatment close to my home in San Carlos. I have to thank them publicly, they have gone above and beyond my expectations, with Dr. James and Acupuncture and Iris with the acupressure back massage that is so affective and firm enough that I have been able to move more fluidly with much less pain, allowing me to walk further and even dance without the level of pain I had before. Iris is amazing, with very strong fingers and technique that is rarely matched. I highly recommend giving them a try, they are very accommodating and nice people! I look forward to my next session! read more

I actually came to Oasis since Gressa (who does threading) used to be there. Gressa has since moved to another location a few blocks down (still on Laurel). I saw their "grand opening special" of $60 for a 70 min massage and thought, sure why not? I cannot remember the name of the woman who did the massage but it was disappointing. When I walked in for my appointment, she asked "only you? I thought it was for a couple - you and your husband." (huh? I never even mentioned my husband when I made an appointment). She didn't even ask what kind of massage I wanted. And I assumed she would give me a Swedish massage. Their business card did not mention Thai massage at all! And I didn't speak up because I was so worn out that day (actually, the entire week was an exhausting one) and I just wanted to relax. Instead, I got pulled and twisted and was given a Thai massage - WHICH I DIDN'T WANT (at 7pm, who wants to be pulled like taffy?!) At one point, I did tell her she's stretching too much, it actually hurts. Not once did she ask if the pressure was ok, or if she was stretching me too much. As I was leaving, the woman said, "Please come back and try Lucy - she will give you different style of massage." Ummmm... Just a word of advice to anyone who wants to take advantage of their grand opening deal: Make sure to be *very clear* what kind of massage you want and during the massage, speak up if the pressure is too much! I've had a Thai massage before (at Sukothai Wellness on Walnut St) and they did a much better job. read more

Oasis Day Spa - Does not say anywhere that they do Thai massage. And yet that's what I got (and did not want). - Day Spas Near Me - San Carlos, California

Not worth the price, and they will push you to give more than 20% tip. Kept hearing toilet flush during massage and dog freely wandering around. read more

Helped my with a major pinch in my back. I honestly couldn't walk or bend down. I got a deep tissue massage with hot stones. It was painfully need. Three days later I was able to move normal and my back was better. Looking forward to scheduling my next appointment. Also they were super understanding and patience with me being late due to my back pain. Extremely grateful I found this place read more

Their hours on Yelp say they're open until 8pm on Sundays but I just tried getting in and they shooed me away from the door and locked them at 7pm. read more

I've been to this location twice now (actually just a couple days apart, yes it was that good What a great experience and massage each time! I don't think I can say enough nice things about the place, but I will certainly try. I don't leave reviews much, if ever, but this is necessary due to how wonderful it has been. The spa is very clean/neat, the prices are right, rooms are private, overall very quiet/calming/relaxing place, and the mood is just right. I had gotten nervous to try out new/different places before due to some miscommunication issues I've had at other spots, but I'm extremely glad I was able to meet/work with one of the owners, Peggy. She has been nothing short of extraordinary during my 2 visits so far, and I must say she has given 2, yes 2, of the best massages I've ever had (hence my quick return to the place). I find it very hard to relax sometimes, but she has made this easy very quickly. Always extremely attentive, constantly ensuring you're having a great experience. Much unlike anywhere else I have been before. I play a lot of sports and fitness games, so I'm always rather sore. Additionally, I have a horrible place under my shoulder blade which needs some serious work, and within a few days, I'm already feeling the pain begin to subside some. After an hour or more here, I'm ready to get back on the field/court! I can't thank her enough, simply amazing. Highly, highly recommended You won't regret it! PS Thank you for the good fruit today, the apple was gone before I got home read more

Cute little place newly opened (2 months) on the Laurel street strip. Nothing fancy, but very clean and nicely appointed including the most comfortable massage tables you are ever likely to experience. Tracy, my technician, immediately established a rapport which continued to increase as the session unfolded. The final word on any massage is how you feel afterward and I can honestly say I haven't felt as good in a long, long time - borderline euphoric! Bottom line: HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

This spa has new ownership. Tracy and Peggy are the new owners and show their pride of ownership. It's very clean and professional. I did their Grand Opening 70 min massage for $60 specialTake advantage of this great price while they build their business. Tracy gave me a massage and what was clear from the start is she was highly qualified, experienced, and listened well. I can't tell you how many times I directed a new therapist to focus on my legs for example and then they simply ignore you and do their routine. Not so with Tracy she tailored the entire massage for me. She added many beneficial stretches like a Thai massage. Make an appointment soon before they get so busy you have difficulties getting an appointment. I just tried Peggy for a massage she is great as well. She formally trained at LaBelle in Palo Alto so you are getting a real good deal by not driving to Palo Alto for a massage. read more

I called to schedule an appt, was not informed that there's a $2 charge for credit card payment. Full body massage is $65, reasonable but at completion of massage, the masseuse demanded a $20 tip. She stated that for an hour's massage I have to give her $20 tip. Hope this is helpful. read more

Mones has moved to the north end of Laurel St. Now, oasis day spa only does massages and is not associated with Mones' skin care.

My wife got me a GC for an 85 min massage. I am so glad! This is definitely one of the best massages I've ever had. It was so thorough and relaxing. The time just flew by. read more

I got an amazing massage from Peggy after I shared my original review. Both Tracy and Peggy are so talented and knowledgeable. I travel between three cities regularly, and this is my absolute favorite place to go for massage anywhere! read more

What a great massage. I pulled my back a bit couple days ago and and been exercising to try to loosen it up. Tracy was able to tackle the issue and the hot stone massage is so relaxing. Next time going for cupping ! read more

I couldn't pass up the great pricing offer and at nine months pregnant, a massage sounded heavenly. I had an easy and friendly experience booking my appointment. When I arrived for my massage, I was ushered to my room on time and pleased to see the facility was so clean. My masseuse checked in often to ensure I was comfortable and made adjustments as necessary. My massage was relaxing and so helpful in addressing my pregnancy pains. I will definitely be back! read more

Peggy is AMAZING! For over six weeks during this pandemic, I walked with a limp thinking I needed a hip transplant. My hip pain was excruciating. I had trouble climbing stairs. Decided to try a massage at Oasis. Peggy said it was coming from a stiff muscle in my back, not my hip. In my mind I doubted her but let her do what she needed to do. Nobody in my family could believe it when I walked out of there completely pain free. My husband also walked in literally hunched over in osteoarthritis back pain and walked out standing tall with no pain. Our daughter had severe lower back pain. Completely gone now. It has only been 3 days and none of us can wait to go back for a second treatment. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I bought this microdemabration groupon on valentine's day as a gift for my girlfriend. We at least called them 6 times to make an appointment, no response at all. We even left 2 or 3 voice mail messages and they never call us back. Recently we were close by and decided to go to this place in person, we enter the place and there was a lady doing a manicure to a customer, she did not even say hi, like if she didn't care we were there. We decided to take a seat and grab a magazine while we waited. We literally sat there for 15 min and no one great us or ask us to wait, nothing!!! My patience is huge, but I was basically giving them a second chance and it didn't work out. My girlfriend and I decided to just leave. I'm glad the Groupon team is accessible and they gave me my money back immediately. I suggest you really pay attention to customer service. I almost forgot, I even call them while I was waiting and it's wasn't a surprise when I notice the phone started ringing and no one move a finger trying to reach it at all. read more

Their hours are M-F 9:30a-8:00p. I walked in at 4pm on Tuesday, September 21st to buy a gift card for my husband. It was my first time ever stepping foot in this place, only to be met by a woman who mumbled something inaudible to me. I told her that I just wanted to buy a gift certificate. She mumbled again and then said that she didn't have time or use. Didn't have time to gain a new customer and get money? How stupid and in covid times, why would a business turn down money? I told her, well you don't want my business, then that's fine and I walked out. It left me annoyed. So, I don't know and never will know about their services, because she wouldn't accept my money. Oh well, there's more massage places "in the sea" that would be willing to accept my money. read more

I have VERY sensitive skin, but I was seduced by a great Groupon deal... and I am so happy that happened, otherwise it would have never thought to walk into this little, unassuming salon! I had a wonderful microdermabrasion session, that turned into three, and cleared up my skin and lifted my spirits. Mones is a lovely, attentive woman, and she was so gentle with my skin. I will definitely be back. read more

I decided to try out a massage here seeing their re-opening special. It was amazing and helped greatly with my back pain! The owners were courteous, attentive and seemingly experts in their craft. I will be back and clearly the new ownership knows what they are doing! read more

I went with my boyfriend this weekend. Both of us had a 70-min massage. The technicians are very friendly, professional and patient. Good customer service, I called and changed my appointment like 3 times and she still was nice to me. The message was alright.

Awesome Massage Tracy is awesome. Went in for an 85 minute massage. Stiffness and soreness is gone. Very professional. Place is very clean. Highly recommend. Thank you Tracy read more

After two different times making an appointment, I arrived only to find out they could only give a 45 minute massage instead of the hour I had requested. I asked how to be sure an appointment would be made, but I couldn't get an answer. Not quite sure how they run their business, but clearly they weren't interested in my patronage or money. I'm bummed because the first time I got a massage there it was great! But the person who Bebe me that massage no longer runs the business. Sad... read more

I bought a Groupon for Oasis Day Spa for an acid peel and collagen mask and was pleasantly surprised! Mones is an angel with a genuine concern for her customers. Compared to other service providers I have experienced who push products and services, Mones is honest and humble and listened to me. Warm hearted and generous, I look forward to seeing her again for another service very soon! Thank you, Mones, for a wonderful experience. read more

I bought a groupon for microdermabrasion and it was amazing! I scheduled two more sessions after and will continue to see Mones every month. She is very knowledgeable about what she does and I could tell right away how passionate she is about her work and helping her clients. Mones is easy to talk to and a great listener. She gave me helpful advice to improve my skin and recommended products without being pushy. The spa is very peaceful and clean. Scheduling with Mones was easy and flexible. Prices are very reasonable. I finally feel confident in my skin and look forward to my next treatment! read more

I've been to Oasis Day Spa twice, both times for a microdermabrasion session, and was very happy with the quality of service and treatment I got. It definitely helped my complexion right away and the effect is long lasting. Mones is a professional who does an amazing job and clearly cares about her clients. She uses only the best brands and her customer service standards are excellent. During my procedure she gave me some skin care tips which are very easy to introduce into your routine and they definitely work. The place is spotless, really nice and relaxing. I will definitely be back for another microdermabrasion and can confidently recommend Oasis Day Spa to anyone who is looking to trust their face to a professional beautician. Nadya C. read more

I was looking for a decently priced beauty salon to get a facial at in San Carlos and this was the best place that came up on my search. I scheduled a last minute facial with Mones who was super nice and accommodating to my request. I've been around a lot of dust and cleaner lately so I've been breaking out, she suggested a deep pore cleansing facial which did just the job. She did a VERY good job with the facial, she was very thorough and spent 80 minutes on my facial. My only gripe is where's the paraffin?? I love that stuff and was looking forward to it. My deep pore cleansing facial was $85. I think I'd definitely come back here again, she's very nice and friendly and did a great job! read more

Mones is honest, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She is also very warm and welcoming! I particularly like that Mones puts an emphasis on using green and natural products, but not just as a gimmick. She was using natural products before it was fashionable. She doesn't push her products, which I appreciate, since there is nothing worse than being bombarded with products after a relaxing treatment. The one facial cleanser she did suggest to me, I bought, and am really happy with! I don't have a ton money to spend on spa treatments, but when I do, I will definitely go to Mones! read more

Oasis Day spa is under new ownership and has transformed into a massage centric place. Tracy AND Peggie are the owners and main massage therapists. In my two appointments, Tracy has done my body work and and been outstanding! As a reference point, I have had numerous sports injuries throughout my lifetime and have had quite a bit of various types of body work ranging from massage, PT, Chiropractic, etc. Tracy provides an excellent deep tissue, Sports and Swedish type massage but in a highly intuitive manner. If you are looking for a new massage place, definitely put Oasis on your list! By the way, my girlfriend has has had Swedish work from Peggie and speaks equally positive. read more

My facial was excellent and the owner is very nice. Scheduling itself is a bit difficult given the fact that the hours are variable and at least the week that I called, there was no receptionist. On the other hand, the facial itself was great, my skin felt great and I enjoyed the conversation with the esthetician/owner. I'd probably go back for another facial there. read more
