Most of the equipment is top notch, with the exception of the arm ergometer which really needs to be replaced with a current model. I have done the initial free fitness assessment and orientation to the equipment which was quite complete. Patrons are good at cleaning the equipment after use. In 6 months (about 50 visits) there have only been 2 times when all the indoor treadmills are in use and I have had to use one of the 5 outdoor treadmills. I have not used the other programs offered at this facility yet but do plan on starting a variety of fitness classes in the fall and will evaluate those in another review. Offering two conference rooms of different sizes, a full kitchen, very large area for meetings or events, and clean well kept bathrooms, the center is great for all occasions. Parking here is limited so if you are attending or hosting an event plan ahead and make necessary arrangements. Their is additional parking available on the streets or in the neighborhood surrounding the center. In addition to the center itself, their is a fairly good size outdoor area directly in front. It is well kept with benches and neatly maintained grassy areas. This area is well lit at night and great for most outdoor activities prior to your event. Their are a few other choices in town for hosting your events but this is by far the newest and best maintained. Not to mention it's convenient location to the center of town. I recommend the Gene Bianchi Community Center for all your event needs.
