After a basic wash through the tunnel, I spent over an hour at the self-service area with their vacuums and towels and especially the trash cans. I *filled* the trash can with soda bottles, food wrappers, straw wrappers and receipts and so much more trash. After all that garbage was disposed of, it was great to spend an unlimited time cleaning up crumbs and dirt, wiping away the road muck from door jambs and such. I ran the floor mats through the floor mat machine as well, which took a bit of effort because someone had lost one in there causing the machine to be jammed up. This was the only place in town that was able to get my oil changed without a 2-hour wait. The…read moredownside to that was everything else. The price shown for the oil change does not include labor costs, which I would totally have no problem with. Unfortunately, they quoted me one price for the oil change, $41 and some change plus tax, then ended up charging me extra once I cashed out because "the oil filter for my car model ('09 Chevy Cobalt) is a different type," and it was "probably too late" for them to inform me of the price difference once they started changing the filter. I told the gentleman at the counter that I was quoted one price initially, and that they should have known what type of filter my car required and informed me of the correct price, however the difference in amount was not returned to me. When I left, the gentleman said, "Thanks. See you again." I responded, "No, you won't." I will not do business with any company, person, or organization that is dishonest and lacks integrity. I will not do business with this company again, and I would urge anyone else thinking of doing so to reconsider.

When…read moreI checked to see if the parts came in, the girl in the office said " opps, out of site, out of mind". I waited in the office to make sure the parts were ordered before I left. I called a week later and the parts were in, but they didn't tell me. I brought the car in the following Monday. They had it for about 5 hours. They charged 1 hour to clean the broken glass. They charged to remove the seats to clean the glass from the floor. They then decided to charge an extra 2 hours to detail the car. When I picked the car up, it had glass in the glove box, glass between the seats, glass in the driver's side window seal, the mirror switch did not work and the drivers door card was delaminated and punctured. The 2 hr detail was smearing dirt in the front of the car. They said they would order a new mirror switch. Over 2 months and haven't heard from them. The drivers panel is now rattling when the window is down. Total bill was just under 1000.00

I feel like you can't really trust a lot of car shops now a days, but we trust Barney's! The service was so fast and reliable. I had gotten told at a Dobbs in a bigger city that I needed to replace my shocks and struts and it would cost me about $1000. I took it to Barney's and they ran a bunch of tests and within an hour they told me there's nothing wrong with and I don't need them fixed for a while. They get us in every time without fail. I made the mistake of not doing a walk around. Later I saw the front grill not only broken but still containing organic matter from said coyote. When contacted the service representative said my insurance company had not approved getting it fixed. Later when pressed because no proof existed of a denial, he said well " that's what his service guy said". So along with ineptitude there seems to be an issue with telling things as they actually are. When I pointed it out there was a cavalier attitude about not only what occurred but the general occurrence. Not only would I NOT reccomend them it borders on suit worthy.
