When I called back to see if my yearly could be done with the one doctor on staff, she said sure but confirmed he isn't Mohs certified, then proceeded to tell me Mohs surgery is only needed for your face - LOL. I cancelled my yearly check in. Last week I received a call to request that I come back in 4-6 weeks to check my (no-cancerous results) biopsy area because it COULD be cancerous in the future. I laughed and hung up. I really feel sorry for anyone that has skin cancer and ends up being fed such misinformation from these clowns. Clearly this office is only after billing. Do yourself a favor and find a Mohs certified doctor in Columbus.

There are 3 woman who work at the desk and I overheard them talking about a patient who had just made an appt. Not really interested in listen to their gossip and about her dance mom problems . ( ugh) I was nervous and just wanted to try to relax. The nurse that came and got me was super sweet and led me to the room. Derek is my doc and he is very caring and patient with questions and explaining the process. I always received good care from him. I was there to get a body scan which I'm sure everyone knows isn't on the list of "things I want to do today", but he makes you comfortable. Other than the ladies at the desk, it was a great visit and I'm hoping next time they limit the gossip man's talking about the patients .

When he saw my wounds he diagnosed my condition and formed a game plan, he and I worked together for 2 1/2 years and finally got it under control. While working on my wounds Alopecia came into the picture so now we are working on this issue. Dr. Kaffenberger has always been patient and attentive, I never felt rushed in any of my visits. Dr. Kaffenberger and his staff have also been very supportive and helpful, I've never had a long wait to be seen, the office is always clean. When my prescriptions are priced beyond what I can afford the office works with manufacturers to get the price within reason or at no cost to me. I have some skin issues, including cancer, in my family history so I agreed and scheduled the appointment with the referred dermatologist. Upon scheduling, I really appreciated that the staff asked whether I preferred a male or female doctor. Knowing that my entire body was going to be examined with a magnifying glass, I opted to have a female doctor. Leading up to my appointment, I received a reminder in the mail, a call, and messages in my MyChart account. Loving all that outreach! I arrived to find a giant parking lot in the back of the building, which is where I was advised to enter the office. I got there and was immediately checked in, paid my copay, and took a seat in the waiting room. It was clean (even the restroom) and at first, I was a little nervous that I'd be waiting a while. There was a good number of patients waiting to be seen. No worries though, because I was taken back to a room right on time. The nurse was super friendly and explained the process to be while confirming my medications and whatnot. After changing into a gown, the doctor and nurse came in and began my exam. It went by very quickly, everyone was very professional, and I felt comfortable from start to finish. Questions were answered, and I was told that everything looked good... what a relief! I was told that I should be checked about every two years and that they would reach out to me to schedule when the time comes. Jeez, thanks for making this so easy for me! I definitely suggest being seen here if you're in need.

When I called for directions to the office she was blunt, short and very rude. When I got into the office she was just as such upon check in and check out. I work in the medical field and would never speak to my patients in what I experienced. Upon check out I went back up to the window to inquire about a co-pay as none was mentioned at check in. Rhonda proceeded to say, it was 60, but that I was taken back before she could collect. I questioned this and only then was that statement corrected by her co-worker. I was under the impression that insurance verifications were done prior to appointments.

Dr George did the appointment, with other staff to look at my bumps and make that skin had any other suspicious cancer issues, which Dr George checked all over and all were normal items! On December 5th, Doctor George removed the largest bump removed. The 2nd bump was removed in their Lewis Center office, the 3rd and last bump was removed in their Mount Vernon office, taking all stitches out from the largest bump. He used dissolving stitches on the smaller bump. They also gave me a copy of the lab from the bumps that everything was Benign, Another friend referred me to Dr George.
