Teachers meet students where they are at and help them grow. Social-emotional development is also a big area of focus. Students are kind towards each other and they engage in projects to teach them things like gratitude and appreciation for others. FWA also has a great sense of community. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, laid back but very engaged in teaching the kids. Each teacher has unique qualities that they bring to the team, but they are similar in that you can tell they actually want to get to know your child, they aren't here just for a paycheck. I love that they encourage your child to be independent while also learning to listen well and follow instructions. My son has already improved noticeable in his gross and fine motor skills while attending here and he's only had a handful of classes! The parents and kids that attend this location are very friendly too which has made coming here even more enjoyable. The facility is clean and well organized as well. We will continue to come here!

Our kids started when one was 8 weeks old and the other was 8 months (due to Covid) and they thrived. Those teachers, administration and staff deeply care for our kiddos as if they were their own. I saw both my kids thrive inside and outside of the classroom because of what they were learning there. Between the two, we spent 8 years there. If you ever have the chance to have Mrs. LeeLee or Mrs. White, you are on lucky person. Those two go above and beyond for your kids. They show up to birthday parties on their time off, they cry with you when you move up classes, and they have been there for a long time and consistency means something. The leadership is always welcoming to feedback and doing what they can to make the school better each and every day. The fact that Bill & Rochelle know every family by name is pretty impressive and they're always looking for ways to make the experience better. People always tell us how prepared our children are and I credit it to everything they learned here. Hands down would not send my kids to any other school but here. Number one I will say I misread the sign , thinking they closed at 11, when in actuality they close at 9 m-t. 11 is only Friday and sat. I will take the blame for that. So for starters my daughter and sons name and age are in the computer, and she spelled my daughters name wrong and put my daughters age as 18 months, when she is actually 2.5. Then when I told her she fixed it. It was right there on the screen. I also told them my daughter is potty trained but needs help, and you should ask her bc it's a new place and she will want to play. I also told her I will be back before 11, and she says she didn't hear me bc I got a call at 8:56, are u coming to get your children!? I felt like the worst parent in the world. Panicked and freaked out I rushed from the stock yards to willow park In About 20 mins. I pick up my kids and obviously I'm late, will never forgive myself, bc I was taking my time, and made them wait for me. I feel awful. Anyway I find out it's $1 a minute, which I get Sucks. So I owe for that on top of the hourly. $80 is too much for a few hours with two kids. Also I find out my daughter went to the bathroom in her pants, (even tho they told me she went to the bathroom several times by herself). I'm assuming not one of those times did anyone go In With her, to wipe her or anything bc she went in her pants. And they sent her clothes home with the poop and everything still in it, not even wiped out or hosed off, and all in the same bag. So I had to throw everything away. I think for the price they should be able to take care of that. I will try again bc I am desperate for childcare as we have no family to help and or friends near us, the girls were young and seemed nice but just not experienced enough for the price. I'm hoping the facility is so new they need to work out the kinks. For the hours I recommend the signage in door be changed/ it's hard to tell there are two closing times for different days - I think maybe the later days and hours be one color and separate from the rest. Or say when the parent leaves we close at 9 or 11. Just seems like it would stop issues. I was told that there were still children left at ftw location. Not to feel b I also recommend the hours changes / by day maybe a different color. So it's obvious to people like me who are in a hurry.
