What a neat little hide-a-way right in the heart of Burlington! I heard about this place through a…read morefriend of mine and hooped right to it. There are beautiful walking trails to enjoy, much of it is wheelchair accessible, which was a surprising plus! I saw many people in and out during the time we were there! There are caves to explore, a nature center (which was unfortunately closed when we went) among other things to do. Signs along the trails inform hikers about the local animals, and plant life. The water nearby is the perfect place for kids to play and enjoy, and there are sandy beaches all along the bank to find a place to relax. There are areas to picnic and grill as well! Another bonus was the amount of people I saw walking their dogs! It is a dog friendly location, as advertised on the signs. The wildlife was present, and the whole place has an overall peaceful feel to it. I literally felt the stress of the day, melt away the moment I stepped out of the car. It was open until 10:30, so there is ample opportunity to stop by for a walk after work any day of the week!

Kinda the only reason I went was to see the caves. Theres alot of litter as well. I didnt get to see inside the building, but the rock climbing literally has boards nailed to it so its closed I guess. No mask requirements but I mean the only thing you can do it walk through paths, everythings out of order or closed. They have benches everywhere so you can enjoy the view of the many closed sites. If you want a workout rather then an experience, here's your wet dream.
