Beverlin was the one who did my daughter's haircut and took off the dead ends and left her hair more manageable. Riondra who specializes in braids/nails braided my daughter's hair. Diego is solid with his skills and did the brow split. Mrs. Rose walks and monitors the students as well as welcomes/departs. Ely was finishing up a color and customer was happy with the end result. When I arrived, I was told I had to sign in and pay for the service before it was even done. I asked why, since the last time I came I was able to pay after the service was completed. The staff member said it was "the rules," so I mentioned that she was actually the one who helped me during my previous visit and allowed me to pay afterward. She laughed and said she couldn't do that this time because the manager would get mad at her. Because of that, I decided to decline the service and leave. It felt strange and inconvenient to be required to pay upfront, especially when that wasn't the case during my previous visit. On top of that, during my last appointment the results weren't great--my left eyelash ended up very curly while the right side was still mostly straight. There are plenty of other places to go for a lash lift and similar services, so unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experiences.

But today, she took on the big task of transforming my hair, and let me tell you, she nailed it! Not only did I walk out with an incredible wash and blow-dry, but we also had the best conversations about kindness, culture, and all the things we have in common even though our backgrounds are different. Im in the process of growing my hair so I mainly just wanted my sides trimmed down without touching the top too much.
