This place I have to say is above average when compared to all the available apartments in the area. Cost is not the lowest but fair. There is alot that is offered in my opinion. The maintenance staff are fantastic and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile. The size of the apartment is excellent with a one car garage. This complex could not be more conveniently located at US23 and M59. The office staff is pleasant and helpful as well. The only complaint I have is the grounds keeper and his poor attitude. He seems to like to pick on women in my opinion. He has talked to my wife like she is a child, in fact at one point the garbage men came up to her and asked if everything was ok. You will never meet a more kind and giving person as my wife yet this bully thinks its his job to intimidate her and others including children. He yelled at her to slow down, she was behind me and I was doing 10mph lol. I do not know what his problem is but he wont even look at me when confronted..... Other than the grounds keeper this place is excellent you cant beat it cost wise. Don't let my spouting off about the grounds keeper keep you away he is afraid of men and hes gonna run into the wrong wife one day that surely will set him straight... DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO! If there was 0 stars they would get that. The management (group5) and maintenance think nasty, used appliances piled up outside your apartment is ok for people to live with. Sometimes it's used broken toilets, sometimes it fridges with rotten food, and of course dishwashers and dryers/ washers - its disgusting and a health hazard. The pics are over an entire year, so it's not a rare occurrence. We rarely get the parking lot plowed, and the sidewalks rarely get shoveled. But don't worry, the office will have its sidewalk shoveled and salted for you to come to the "gym" that is only open M-F, 9-5, because no one that wants to exercise has a job, right? The siding is falling off and broken everywhere on our buildings and garages. Our water is so bad we only use it for showers. We often smell sewer gas in the bathroom. Half the problems I put in maintenance tickets get ignored. We have had a squirrel living in the ceiling of our apt and the neighbors all year, they received multiple tickets from 2 tenants about it - its still there. We have had snakes, mice and every bug known to man enter our apartment. The windows and doors are so leaky, they are almost pointless. The complex created dangerous holes and "ledges" next to the parking area and sidewalk that someone is going to get hurt on - we had 2 delivery vehicles get stuck in them in the last 3 months but the maintenance people see them everyday when dumping all the appliances, and have done nothing about them. There are no Fire extinguishers or CO detectors! The pool is only open about 4 weeks a year, and is usually green. You cant leave your garbage can outside or you will get fined - the office has 4 cans outside everyday, along with other various garbage. read more

zero stars!!! this place is awfu! overpriced! the management is the worst! they evict people and than go after them for rent until the lease is up, making money on empty apartments. the appliances are cheap and break down consistently. one of the maintenance men threatened to shoot my dog as he was carrying a gun in his pocket, the gun was visible, I called the police and they said he had a right to do that. the office there did nothing. stay away from this place! read more

If I could give this apartments zero stars I would, please don't rent from here. The staff is rude and unprofessional, they should be providing you upmost service for the amount of money you pay to live here. However, you get rude and disrespectful management. They do not fix your maintenance issues, just cover them up. Your appliances are old, the water will ruin everything that you own and the corporate office that owns the apartments are even worse, as if that's even possible. We've been here a long time and never had any issues until the last 6 months and in those 6 months we've had so many issues that were major issues and not one person cared about our family, it's really slum landlords who just want your money. Horrible Staff this company has made it impossible to make a payment anytime other than M-F 8-5, when most of us work or on Saturdays if they aren't showing a property. When one complained about no drop box, the staff ( the older woman) got nasty and argumentative. This is a great place if you want to be treated like a sub class citizen! read more

We have been here just over a year now. The first apartment was horrible. Anything on the first floor is dark and noisy. We had such horrible neighbors above us my nerves were raw all day every day they told us once it was apartment living. My 22 year old live is an apartment in a college town and even she said it was 100x's worse then her apartment. After calling the police and the office they found us another apartment. The landscape is just so so and all the buildings need external repairs done. The office staff have been pleasant and I have no real complaints there. Storage is a huge issue the garages are small and will not fit a larger SUV or truck. Unlike our old place we do not see a lot of police traffic so that is a positive. I do miss the storage and room we had prior to moving to Oakbrooke but it is apartment living as long as you have good neighbors. read more

I've lived here for two years with a family of my own and a small pup. We're pushed back into the corner which is nice a private and we have beautiful wood scenery behind us. The staff here has been nothing but quick to respond and kind to any of our needs. We've enjoyed living here thus far, and has nothing different "wrong" with it than any other apartment(meaning sounds from floor above and little annoyances with parking). The water is very hard, but I feel they do their best to keep on it, definitely wouldn't use it to cook or drink. Besides that It's roomy and nice inside, and the staff does a good job. Definitely needs some work on the outside, it's definitely not the most aesthetically pleasing from the outside, but they've been picking at that as well. I think this place gets a worse rep than it deserves and just wanted to make that known! read more

Super pissed that they do not do refundable security deposits. You pay them money with no return. They we moved out and they sent us directly to collections for payment of any repairs. They did not attempt to contact us, call us or inform us in any way. They just sent us directly to collections! Stupid ass holes! read more

I would honestly rate this place 0 if possible. I had a horrible experience living here. No one watches their kids. They were constantly running around in the parking lot and darting in between cars, not looking before they crossed the roads. There is no playground, and I have children so we always went elsewhere to play (since I actually watched mine unlike most of the parents here). We constantly received complaints about us walking too loud from the lady below us but are not loud people. I am a stay at home mom with a toddler so there were lots of bumps and bangs when he started walking (which is why we CHOSE to live upstairs so as not to have to listen to the tenants above us). I felt like we were being discriminated against for having children because the lady below us was old and living in the "family" section and refused to move to the section where the older people live. Consequentially I learned she had worked at the office for a number of years. She also hated the pets around because she did not own any herself. Sorry but there aren't a lot of options as far as apartments for pet owners so if you don't like pets, don't live somewhere that allows them, especially dogs. She would bang on her ceiling/ our floors when the teenagers next door to her would play music and constantly wake up my infant son, then while I was spending time trying to get him back to sleep she would bang more because he was crying loudly. The walls and floors are paper thin, clearly banging on the walls and ceilings to get a baby to stop crying or a dog to stop barking is counterproductive. We also had two small chihuahuas and always cleaned up after them and would constantly receive notes on our door saying we weren't cleaning up after our dogs when the dog waste surrounding our building was obviously from a large dog and oftentimes BIGGER than our dogs themselves. It was a joke. We would receive "complaints" from the office on our door about the dogs and when we would call to talk to the property manager he was never in and could never call us back. EVERY notice we received threatened eviction whether it be for the dogs barking (even on weekends we were out of town and the dogs were away WITH us we received notices that they were barking loudly while we were gone...), or for not cleaning up their waste. I kindly offered to show the property manager the special trash can we kept in the garage specifically for dog waste since there were no dog waste/bag dispensaries on our end of the complex however he refused to come visit. The water was horrible and ruined our clothes. You have to get special lyme away stuff for the dishwasher to not have a white film on your dishes. The office staff aside from the property mgr was pretty nice as well as most of the maintenance crew. Other than that I would say stay away because it's over priced and the management staff is pretty shabby. read more

I am 5 months pregnant and my a.c. went out. No one will even come a look at it. It is 87 degrees in my apartment right now. I have no where to go so I am stuck here. They do not give a crap. Maintainable said they may be able to get someone to look at it tomorrow. It has been broken all day and it's now 7 pm. I hope i am still alive by tomorrow. My family will be suing the complex if me or my child are dead. read more

The doors are all hollow. My two year old son fell into one and it created a hole.. He weighs 28 pounds. The screen door busted off. Everything is usted after only a year and I'm not rough on things. Now today the A.C. is broken and there is no one available to come fix it. I have to either endure the 90 degrees inside my apartment or pay for a hotel. This place is horrible. Buyer beware. Make sure you have good documentation and take pictures of everything when you move in. If raw sewage floods your apartment and ruins all of your things, don't expect it to be cleaned up appropriately. Their idea of cleaning up raw sewage is bringing fans in. I have lived all over and this one of the WORST apts I have ever lived in! The water leaves the dishes white from the calcium no matter how or what you treat the dishwasher with. They complain about the most minute smallest things. The employees are unprofessional i.e. moving your trash against and under your car if you put out 1 day early. Our neighbors as well as ourselves have gotten notes about once a monthe on the most trivial things. The staff is unwilling to work with you, no matter the situation! Great spacious apartments with lots of windows. Comes with washer/drier, dishwasher, garbage disposal. One car garage! My only complaint is the water is bad- dishes come out of the dishwasher worse than they went in and the water heater sounds like a fireworks display because it's full of calcium sand. read more
