Even a five star review doesn't give this business the justification it deserves! Angela was so…read morekind to take a huge chunk of her time to meet with me and discuss the future sewing needs I will need to secure to bring my bittaSHADE sunscreen canopy to market. Although this product is not something she might normally work on, she agreed to take on the challenge! As a fellow veteran, she exemplifies the quality of attention to detail that I most admire, and I am very much looking forward to working with her on my future projects!

I can't recommend Sew Fabulous based on my experience. I hope this helps anyone who's considering…read moreusing them, because I wish I had paid closer attention to reviews before booking. I chose Sew Fabulous because it's close to my home, a friend had a good experience with them, and I was willing to pay more for quality and convenience. My dress was an Azazie bridesmaid dress, and I only needed the hem shortened. I booked six weeks in advance, so there was no rush fee. I paid the required $75 appointment fee, changed into my dress, and the hem was pinned in just a few minutes. When the estimate was calculated, I was quoted $255 to hem the dress. I understand every business has the right to set its own prices, and I'm not criticizing them for charging what they believe their work is worth. I was simply caught completely off guard. My dress cost around $80, and based on conversations with others--including someone who had used this shop for a similar dress--I had no reason to expect a quote anywhere close to that amount. I politely asked if the estimate was correct because I genuinely thought there might have been a calculation error. Instead of feeling like there was room for a conversation or even a second look at the estimate, I immediately felt like the focus shifted to explaining their policies and that the $75 appointment fee would not be refunded if I chose not to proceed. While I understand those policies are posted and businesses have every right to protect their time, I left feeling like there was very little effort to understand why I was so surprised or to work through the situation with me. The price itself wasn't what bothered me most--it was how the interaction was handled. I came in intending to hire them, not to shop around or waste anyone's time. Walking away without any work done but still out $75 left me feeling taken advantage of rather than cared for as a customer. If you do choose Sew Fabulous, I strongly recommend asking for a rough price range before paying the appointment fee so you know whether it's within your budget. I also recommend understanding their payment policies ahead of time, as they differ from many alteration shops. This is only my personal experience, but it wasn't one that left me feeling valued as a customer, and because of that, I wouldn't return or recommend them.

This place got me out of a real jam and I am so thankful and impressed!…read more I was invited to attend a Barrister Ball for Charleston School of Law and was told it was a cocktail party. 36 hours before the event, I found out it was not cocktail attire...it was a formal ball. I truly thought I was not going to be able to find something that worked, but Prima Prom fit me in something appropriate and made a call to ALL Sewing and Alterations to see if it was possible to take a last minute client. I was shocked when I heard that they could do it. It was a sequin ball gown in less than 24 hours! They hemmed about 8 inches from the bottom and adjusted the waist so that it didn't gap at the sides. I had low expectations to be honest, but when I tried it on that evening I noticed the hem was even better than the manufacturer's and the waist fit like a glove. I used to bring all my alterations to a place in Mt Pleasant but I absolutely will be coming here instead because they are more affordable, faster and do a better job. I received compliments all night at the barrister ball and when people said "wow it looks like your dress was made for you" I replied "it wasn't. It was tailored for me by ALL Sewing and Alterations". Thank you so much!!!

They offer both tailoring and embroidering services, while I didn't get anything embroidered, the staff seemed very friendly when working with other customers. This place has a fitting room to try on your garments and they will come pin the garment as needed. A nice touch was that this place had extra shoes, bow ties, and etc. in case you forgot to bring one. While this place did charge me a pretty penny, I trust that they'll get the job done right.
