It also seemed like a healthy place which helped to influence us in heading there. The Fresh Squeeze is located in a strip mall and upon entering you have to turn around to look at the menu on their front windows. Besides that there is a cooler for drinks, a place to order and 3 or 4 tables, a 4-top and the rest 2-tops. After looking at the menu I ultimately decided on the Fire Bird which the menu described as Roast Turkey Breast, Provolone Cheese, Smokey Chipotle Aioli, Hot Diced Cherry Peppers on Grilled Ciabatta Bread while my wife went with the pressed pesto. After I had ordered mine he confirmed that I liked things spicy due to the cherry peppers on it and I confirmed that I did. Then while the sandwiches were being made, he engaged me in a nice conversation. Once our food made it to the table, I dug in. It was good as the flavor of turkey and provolone was in the front. Then the chipotle aioli added a nice bit of moisture to the sandwich and the cherry peppers added some good flavor and a little bit of heat to let you know they were there. Finally the ciabatta bread held together well and I was able to easily eat my sandwich without it falling all over the place. My wife also enjoyed her sandwich, especially the pesto and chicken on it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our food here and were happy with our choices.

First of all, it didn't have that many garbanzo beans. It didn't even have sauce. It was straight up lettuce, onion, maybe 5 garbanzo beans with a little bit of avocado! If you call something a burrito- I expect beans, sauce, and something to make it filling. I came STARVING and I ended up needing to go to Publix next door to get something filling. The wrap was bland. Just save your money and go to Publix instead.

Now THIS is my kind of avocado toast! --…read moreI ordered the Tuna Ahi Avocado Toast, and whoever decided to put ahi tuna on top of avocado toast deserves a thank-you note. It combined two things I already love (fresh raw tuna + creamy guacamole) and somehow made them even better together. -- The ahi tuna was piled on generously, with that savory sauce, sesame seeds and greens adding just the right amount of flavor and texture. Then you get down to that creamy avocado and crispy toast underneath?! EPIC combo. I genuinely don't know why I haven't been eating my avocado toast like this all along. -- And because apparently I was going for balance that morning, I paired it with their Green Team pressed juice and a simple cup of black coffee. The juice was fresh and refreshing, while the coffee gave me exactly the little boost I needed. -- Fresh. Flavorful. Filling without feeling heavy. And most importantly. SOOOOOO GOOD. -- If you love sushi/raw fish AND you're an avocado toast person, please do yourself a favor and try this combination. You might have a new favorite breakfast. -- Cafe Gourmet, I'll absolutely be thinking about this one for while until the next time

But you're also paying for that too because the price reflects it. I've seen the Dania Beach location several times but never been here. My friend was heading to the airport and wanted to meet up so we decided on this location. It's a beautiful space located right behind Regal Cinema in Dania Beach Pointe. The place was pretty hopping when we got here around 1:45 PM on a Saturday early afternoon. We got in line and ordered our food. Bri was our cashier and she was helpful in guiding me on something new to order. I was eyeing the Pesto Chicken Sandwich order chicken as I'm always worried the chicken will be dry. Bri reassured me. Their chicken sandwich is delicious and not dry whatsoever. I took her advice and went for it. This is everything that we ordered: * Pesto Chicken Sandwich $20.95 * Tuna Avocado Wrap $20.95 * Orange Poppy Seed Loaf $6.95 * Dragonfruit Refresher $6.95 We got a number for our table and everything was dropped off accordingly in a timely manner. My Pesto Chicken Sandwich was BOMB!!! Honestly, one of the best dishes I've had at any Pura Vida location. Not even lying. Bri was right, and the chicken was thinly sliced and juicy with tons of flavor with the aïoli dip, I also requested hot sauce, which they gave me a side of picante, which was good together. The bread was surprisingly fresh and soft with a little crisp on the outside. The sandwich was actually pretty perfect! I was only able to finish half and I'm bringing the other half home for my husband to eat, I think he'll love it too. My friend seemed to enjoy her Dragonfruit Refresher and said it was really yummy. She saved the Orange Poppyseed Loaf and Tuna Avocado Wrap for her flight home. I'll get feedback from her later. Or she'll be writing her own review. Lol. If you visit Pura Vida, get the Pesto Chicken Sandwich, The Perfect Egg Sandwich or the Thai Almond Salad. Those are all my faves so far!!! Love this place. Just wish it was more affordable.
