I needed to deposit the check because that's the money I owed them. I deposited the check and paid off the scammed amount of money. Looking back I absolutely cannot stand how she pressured me into doing that and I have not used my account with them since. The website they use is terribly outdated and requires a paper that was mailed to me in the early part of the loan creation to even get access. We do not have that paper any longer, and getting access without it has been nightmarish. We are now selling the house and sadly will probably pay a pre-payment penalty, which honestly is worth it just to be done with F&M. The people in the bank on Dale road are nice enough, though the painful process following the loan origination are enough to keep me away from F&M permanently. The three-star rating is strictly for the staff, it has been a train wreck since then.

But wait, there's more...Shortly after jumping through all of their hoops and calling and speaking to a staff member, i tried to purchase three tickets to a place we are visiting in Scotland in July ($84), and the system wouldn't allow it. Even their staffer helping, me clearing cache, restarting the computer, you name it nothing worked. The vendor's system indicated it was a bank not approving the sale (yes I have no balance and an good credit rating). Neither the CC or the DC would work for either the MOCSE employee or I. To be extra fair, she tried to help as best she could but to no avail. She asked me to call another person, who so far has not returned my call. (I have already spent almost an hour on the phone dealing with this.) But wait, there's more. A few years ago, their system MISSED a fraudulent charge I caught and had to bring to their attention. This fraud occurred on a month, where I only paid 1 person through Zelle. These payments were not made to that person. I would suggest not using Wells Fargo Bank, to transfer money.
