We were put in touch with Ken because he isn't just an arborist he's also an apiarist (beekeeper). He came out the same day I spoke with him to assess the situation and sent me the estimate that evening. The very next day we set an appointment. We had to reschedule due to the biblical amount of rain we've been experiencing lately, but Ken was highly communicative and made sure we were taken care of as soon as everything dried up. Extraction Day was a scorcher but the tree came down, the bees were rehomed and we got some honeycomb! Ken even texted me today (6 days after removal) to let me know that the bees are healthy and adapting well to their new environment and...oh yeah!!! he's got a jar of honey with our name it that we can pick up at the River Lights Farmers Market tomorrow. What an awesome surprise!!! Sweet Life Honeybee Farm in case you were wondering. Long story short: they did great work at a great price. After my complaint, I was called and was told they are not responsible for irrigation that is not located, marked or identified. On the estimate, there is a place for an initial where I assume the owner acknowledges this caveat. My estimate is not initialed. The drip line is visible in the pine straw throughout the bed, but it was not marked with flags. The restoration of the beds will cost me more than what I paid to have the trees removed. Lesson learned.

I told him when they replaced my HVAC they took a section of the fence down then put it back up. He shook his head as he understood. When the team leader came to take the tree down he informed they would not be putting the fence back. Now mind you they were aware I board dogs at my home and this would leave me in a vulnerable position. Said team leader couldn't care less. He just moved the fencing breaking some of it also, off to the side. They also left deep ruts where the fencing was to go. The arrogance of the team leader never ended. When I brought the money out he INSTRUCTED me to count it. I doubt he would speak like this to a man. Very INSULTING!!!

They cut out and removed my old lawn, raked and leveled the yard, put down new topsoil, fertilized and then proceeded to lay 17 pallets of St Augustine sod. Then to complete the job, they rolled the entire job and removed all the little debris from the property. It made me tired just watching them.
