This company just took down an enormous oak tree across the street from me. Instead of doing it the right way--piece by piece, from the top down, they just sawed through the base and tried to push it over. It fell on my neighbor's house and power lines. Shoddy, dangerous, corner-cutting. I would NEVER hire them. read more

Eddie's Tree Service - HUGE oak tree they brought right down on top of my neighbor's garage. Tried to take the whole thing down at once instead of in sections. - Tree Services Near Me - Wilmington, North Carolina

Eddie's crew did an amazing job on our yard. We asked them to remove a dead cherry tree, lift/prune a live oak, prune a magnolia, and clean up the brush in our back fence line. Communication with Eddie and his coworkers was prompt, timely, and efficient. They did a fantastic job and you'd never have known they were here. There is not a twig, branch, or leaf left where it shouldn't be. The cuts look clean and my yard looks amazing. They were wonderful to work with and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their work to anyone needing a tree service. read more

Eddies Tree Service (Castle Hayne) quoted on the removal of two pine trees and the limbing of two additional trees. They failed to remove one of the pine trees and they did a very poor job of removing dead limbs from an oak tree. More importantly they failed to follow up with me after several calls and a letter that I sent them. On the calls I was told that they would make things right and that they would get back to me. I cannot in good faith recommend them for any other jobs. read more

After several calls and missed appts. Eddie showed up. We told him we needed a pile of yard debris removed. He said his son would do the job. Only 1/2 the pile was picked up and he insisted we pay him and would not to\\ complete the job. I would never hire this man again. read more

Great job and great customer service! Working with them was very easy and they did a great job ahead of schedule! Took down 3 massive pine trees and stump ground some other stumps for us. They had an opening and got us in a week ahead of time! Coincidentally we were out of town and they didn't make us pay until we had a chance to see for ourselves and were satisfied. Hopefully I won't need to cut any more trees down in the future but if I do they will be my first call! read more

We had Eddie come out and quote removing about 12 trees from our front yard just before Christmas. Just after the New Year he came out with his crew and took them all down within two days. They kept our yard, our driveway, as well as our neighbor's driveway very tidy while they worked. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to clear our yard and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend hiring him! read more

These guys are amazing. I just bought my first house and needed some trees taken down - 4 pines and a cedar. They were incredibly easy to work with. They gave me a fair estimate ($2000 less than a previous estimate that I had). They did all the work in a timely manner and they were very pleasant the whole time. The only negative points: - they were a little late getting to my house to give me an estimate. I think that was on purpose because it was early and he said thta the didn't want to wake me up. - if you want the stumps ground down, that's and extra fee and they don't generally remove the leftovers from that. But it kind of seemed like he would have if I asked him to. I told him that was fine and I could use it for mulch and he offered to move it to where I needed it in the yard. I've already recommended them to a friend of mine. They're good people and do good work. read more

I recently contracted Eddie's Tree Service to cut down and remove 2 60' pine trees from my yard. I had contacted several landscaping services for this job and decided to go with Eddie's as he was very responsive, knowledgeable and price competitive. Eddie's crew was punctual, professional and easy to work with. They took great care not to damage any surrounding plants while removing both trees. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them to anyone requiring tree removal services. read more

They did a good job cutting down the trees. But the cleanup was terrible. That crew threw limbs and trash from the pine trees in the bushes on my property. They also dug a hole and used the dirt to cover up some stumps that were left, now I can not use my chain saw to cut them down closer to the ground. Will not be recommending them to anyone unless they just want trees cut down! read more

Horrible! Knew I was hiring someone to keep my dog and no showed twice, with no call, email, or text. Completely disappointed after they came highly recommended! read more

I had a giant pear tree in front of a rental property I own in Kings Grant. The root system was so substantial it was cracking up the driveway and the slab of the house. I called Eddies and spoke with Sarah. She was professional and courteous scheduled an estimate. Eddie got out to the property and did the estimate within 24 hours and the price was better than any other bids I got. They completed the job as scheduled, contacted me to let me know they finished and sent me pictures of their work. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the service, responsiveness, quality and price. Thanks Eddies! read more

Eddie's Tree service was on time, on budget, safe and professional, and after removing three trees and stump grinding, cleaned the yard better than it was when they arrived. Would hire them again! read more

Words cannot express how pleased I am with Eddie and his crew. We suffered significant damage during Hurricane Florence and needed multiple trees removed, cut back and trimmed before this next hurricane season. We had several consultations from various tree service companies in Wilmington saying they could do it but not until August or September, 4 to 5 months away, right in the middle of hurricane season. Eddie came by and in less than 10 minutes said he could do the job in 2 to 3 weeks, for a fraction of what these other guys estimated. Eddie and his crew were a godsend. In 2 weeks they came by one morning and removed multiple fallen trees, cut down several others, cut off leaders and limbs close to the house and removed/raked up all the debris, all within a few hours. Not one twig or leaf remained when they were done. They were fast, fearless, efficient and knowledgeable. They made our cemetery of a yard look like a home again. I cannot praise or thank them enough. Eddie should be your first (and only) call if you need trees removed or limbs trimmed. read more

I highly recommend Eddie and his team for tree removal services! I hired him to cut down a few very large tree limbs that were hanging right above my house. His prices were extremely reasonable and they got the job done in half the time I thought it would take. They were also able to work around my busy work schedule. Not only did they get the tree limbs cut back to a safe length, they also blew the debris off my roof and cleaned up behind themselves very well. Unfortunately, a small glass patio table of mine that was on the porch was broken during the removal process but he addressed that immediately and even gave me cash to replace it. I'll be using him again very soon to clean up my entire backyard!! read more

Excellent tree service! Would highly recommend Eddie and his team. They took a challenging situation with my tall tree surrounded by power lines and not only got it down safely but also removed the stump with an awesome clean up job! Super nice people! read more
