We took 37 of our closest friends (bus outing) to visit this winery. We were so impressed with…read moretheir hospitality, wine and story. Oh, the wine is great, prices reasonable. ! Definitely will make this a stop when we commute from Seattle to Portland.

I came here to see a band perform, and as a concert venue, Bateaux does quite well. When the…read moreweather's nice, the music's outdoors. Shade can be hard to find, but the staff told me to feel free to grab an Adirondack chair and position it wherever I wanted to, which was appreciated. The staff is extremely friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. While it may seem weird for a non-alcohol drinker to visit a winery, I've been told at other wineries that it's quite common, and other wineries offer a fair selection of non-alcoholic beverages for such patrons. Bateaux only offers water, so anybody hoping for kombucha, iced tea, sodas, etc. is out of luck. Their food menu consists of two pizzas: Margherita, and pepperoni. They're wood-fired, and the dough is made in-house. The pizzas are competent, but they're on the pricy side, and are nothing noteworthy. Service is fast, and there is table service, even if you're just sitting in an Adirondack chair that you randomly positioned in a spot of shade close to the stage. Be aware that Bateaux is completely hidden from view from its street entrance, and that there is a longer-than-expected drive on a single-lane dirt road to get from the street to the winery. Although I didn't encounter any traffic trying to leave when I was entering, eluding oncoming traffic would have been tricky.

I have been waiting to write this review! I live near the Westport Winery but have never…read morebeen...until today. My friend and I came here to shop, try some wine and get lunch and we did all three! Firstly, the gift shop is superb and right when you enter. It has a ton of different dips, mixes, olive oils, treats and things for dogs, and gadgets! To the right of the sho is the tasting room with a huge bar in the center where you can do your wine and spirit tastings! My friend bought a bottle of their wine after we tried some and the customer service and town locals were chatting away and engaging in conversation, they were so friendly and helpful. To the left, you are greeted at the hostess stand along with their amazing bakery items which you should note are DEFINITELY worth the money. IYKYK. We got seated quickly and were given a choice on where. We chose the back room close to the electric fireplaces. Our waiter greeted us promptly and his name is Bob I cannot say enough wonderful things about this man who owned 3 steakhouses in Seattle! He was kind, he was quick witted, he was informative when it came to how the wine flights worked and the food. He kept up with us ordering appetizers, drinks and even more food! For our appetizers we got the beach bread and mermaids on horseback which were bacon wrapped shrimp with a pineapple sauce (YUM) I got the Shrimp Pesto Ravioli and my friend got the Farmers Favorite which is a French dip with house made potato salad. Everything was super fresh, hot and delicious! We can't way to come back and try more!

Came here during the mermaid festival that took place throughout the month of March 2026. Cute to…read moresee the real life mermaid who had her own activation and photo op stand if you wanted to take a picture with her. I like the mini museum within the area because it provided history lessons from different parts of the world and various cultures. I did not realize that mermaid history runs that deep! I like that there was a staff member to give handouts on what to check out at this venue, too, right before you go to park in the lot because it made you look forward to your time spent here. Parking was not bad when I went on the weekend, too...and it was free! I will say that it was overpriced with the food as I spent $36 on coleslaw and fried halibut. They have huckleberry goodies available here, but nothing with chocolate, unfortunately... the winery was neat to check out, too, and there is a bar that you could stop by to try the specialty wines. I did not try it out, but it was pretty of sight when I strolled around there. The vineyard was small, yes, but I like that there were benches to sit on and multiple paths to walk around that ultimately led to an abundance of artistic pieces from the local community in Aberdeen. I thought that the horse , or unicorn !!!, stable was available as a mini petting zoo because the kids were most excited about that. Couple of vendors here, but they lacked enthusiasm... nonetheless, glad that I came here to see what this festival was about because I was recommended to check it out when I researched online about things to do in Washington state
