For someone who's had dental problems my entire life, this dental office is a dream come true. Dr. Riad is the first dentist I've had who's actually solved my problems, and left my teeth painless for the first time in 35 years. From the front desk crew, to the dental hygienist (also best experience I've ever had- ask for Randi), to the actual dentist, I always know I'm in good hands when I walk in. I live 30 mins away from this office- and don't even mind the drive because I like their work so much. No need to look any further for a new dentist office- this is the place to go! read more

Oak Tree Dental is awesome! I had my first visit today and saw hygienist Jennifer. I can't say enough about how amazing she is! A perfectionist in the best sense of the word. And then I met Dr. Riad who is equally as awesome. I'll be getting a new crown next week and have absolute confidence in the work he'll be doing. The entire staff is friendly and understanding, especially office manager Yesenia! And it looks like a 5 star hotel in there! Highly recommend! read more

Great dentist always ! Everybody is very welcoming and friendly from the staff to the dentists very pleasant experience .

We've been taking my kids here since they were each 1 year old and my oldest is now 14. They love coming here and the office is always so accommodating for my work schedule--even getting them all in at 7:00A. Really a great practice and they're all so nice. read more

I had my first office visit today. The staff were very friendly and work as a team for maximum efficiency. The office is clean and modern, and they offer snacks and bottles of water (in addition to the goodie bag of dental hygiene supplies). Dr. Riad has great chair side manner and was thorough in my exam, and my hygienist Randi gave me the best teeth cleaning I've ever had. This definitely is my new go to place for dental care. read more

Always have an amazing experience here. They give me honest advice and give great cavity fillings! Super friendly and fun staff!

Oak Tree Dental is wonderful - from Dr. Riad to the entire staff of professionals. They work above.and beyond to take care of you.

I was a patient of Dr. Fenn's who retired and sold his practice to Dr. Lipat. I was a little apprehensive about trying a new dentist because Dr. Fenn was the the most gentle dentist I had ever experienced. When I was told that the entire office staff and clinicians were staying, I decided to go ahead and give Dr. Lipat a try. I am very pleased to say that she was every bit as gentle and thorough as her predecessor. She is also a very cheerful person. I've always appreciated the support staff here and am very happy that Dr. Lipat is my new dentist. read more

Dr. Rafik is the best in the area. I drive over an hour to see him because i have never received the treatment that i get at his place anywhere else. My visits are always pleasant! His practice is one of a kind and i would trust any member of my family with him! Almost no waiting time and everyone is just on top of their jobs trying to process everything as fast as they can. They can always fit you in even when they are their busiest! The whole staff is like a family always welcoming and always have a huge smile on their faces. They go the extra mile to accommodate whatever it is that you need. I'd definitely recommend him for anyone! read more

Poor communication when talking about treatments and schedules. I had a female dentist and she wouldn't stop talking to her coworker about her plans after work and how she was excited to go to her friends wedding and what not, she really would not concentrate on procedure. A piece of their equipment they they use for fillings got stuck between my teeth and they legit had to yank and yank it out, my teeth are left very sharp and pointy and it bothers me a lot, I have gone back to fix the sharp part and it hasn't been fixed they did a different tooth and then just shaved down another tooth on opposite side that they didn't work on to fix my bite because it was so uneven after they worked on them. My tooth has not stopped hurting since they filled a cavity. It causes me constant toothaches that lead to headaches and I have never even had a toothache in that tooth before even with a cavity. (Update in response) I am originally from Colorado, moved to California, this is the correct office. Respectfully I will not be returning. read more

I Came to Oak Tree Dental based on their great reviews on yelp. And now I know why they have them. I honestly have never felt so comfortable going to a dentist. And I have never met such honest people . Everyone at Oak Tree Dental is Great from the ladies in the front :) to Dr. Lipat and Dr. Hamel and everyone there in the back they are amazing. I can never imagine going to another dentist ever again. I use to dread going to the dentist but now I dont mind one bit because of everyone @ Oak Tree Dental & how comfortable they make me feel from the moment I walk through the door. And I promise you'll feel the same way. I highly recommend Oak Tree Dental to anyone reading this. You will not be disappointed!! :) Thanks Oak Tree Dental for simply being the best :) read more

I am very impressed by the customer service of the front and back office staff, very helpful, courteous, and professional. Like I told Dr. Lipat- I try my best to avoid the dentist because I've had a horrible experience with my dentist during my teen years and I fear pain. Dr. Lipat was so gentle and continuously informing me of every step because I made her aware of my high anxiety level. I needed 2 years worth of ugly tarter build-up cleaned, my teeth are extremely sensitive and I didn't feel any pain, she has a gentle touch, my teeth look and feel healthy. Dr. Lipat Thank You for your gentle care and extraordinary dentistry. Another big plus with me was- the dental office is very clean, high tech, and kept well organized. I've already rescheduled to return for a follow-up in July, I'm actually looking forward to going back. I DEFINITLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. read more

Can you imagine friendly environment in a dental office? A place where everybody smiles and trying to help you. If no then go Dr Riad's Oak Three dental office. All members of my family get their treatment and no matter is it just a simple cleaning or extraction of 'complicated' tooth we always found the best professional dental service. I can recommend this place to everyone who is looking for professional dental help for kids and adults. read more

First visit. Everyone was kind. The female dentist was gentle and answered all of my questions. She offered information and suggestions but was not pushy at all. I would got back without hesitation. read more

I highly recommend Oak Tree Dental. I've been coming to Oak Tree for four years and can only say nice things about the office. The dentist, hygienist and office staff are super friendly. While home on spring break from college I found out that I needed a crown. With just days to go before needing to return to school Dr. Rafik Riad squeezed me in and fixed my tooth. Amazing customer service along with high tech equipment. When I then had a minor problem with my insurance (100% insurance company's issue) the staff at Oak Tree went to bat for me and worked it out. I could not be more pleased and thankful for the entire staff. For those trying to hit the dental office at lunch, Oak Tree Dental is next door to one of my favorite pizza joints-Bongiorno's. Great deal...a cleaning and a slice of pizza! read more

This dentist office is one of the most friendly family-oriented places I've ever been to . they treat you like family instead of a number. I drive 25 minutes just to go to this dentist and I am ok with that. It all started from my first call to this office. I felt as if i was speaking to someone that I have known for years. When i walked into the office a month later the lady who answered the phone remembered speaking to me, we again talked as if we have known eachother for years. All I have to say is if you want an extraordinary service at your dentist's office this is a place to go!! read more

I had my first appointment at Oak Tree Dental yesterday and the experience was nothing short of 5 stars. From the minute I walked in I was taken care of, the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at an office. The wait time was almost nothing as I barely sat down and they called me back. My exam and cleaning was thorough and professional. I was explained the work that needed to be done in detail and the prices are extremely fair and reasonable. Can't say enough great things about Oak Tree. read more

My first visit was a dental cleaning. The hygienist was nice and she explained everything clearly. I've decided to do some fillings work and scheduled an appointment. They gave me a quote for the filling replacement. My insurance covers 100% and I have to pay $0. The night before the appointment they called me and said the insurance covers 70% and the rest should be out of my pocket. Apparently, the quote, they gave me, was inaccurate and they waited for the last minute to tell me that. Very unprofessional. read more

I went to oak tree dental for my 1st cleaning since relocating to San Diego and I was impressed. I've been going to Oak Tree Dental since then and my kids, and husband go there too. I was very happy with my experience at the dental office of Dr. Melissa Lipat this month of January 2012. Dr. Lipat does an excellent job of explaining oral health and dental concerns. She is careful, friendly, experienced and very professional with a true concern for her patients. Dawn is excellent as Dr. Lipat's assistant. My procedure was an dental extraction that was nearly painless.!! My dentist for the next 100 years will be Dr. Lipat.! The staff is friendly also and after your first visit you will want to go back every day for more dental work, even if you don't need it..haha I highly recommend Dr. Melissa Lipat. A five star dental office (OAK TREE DENTAL ) in Poway. The dental office is VERY clean also. read more

I've been really nervous about going to the dentist for a long time. In the past I've visited Western dental and the experience was pretty bad, leaving a bad taste in my mouth for ever returning to another dentist office again. Everyone that I spoke to within Oak tree dental were incredible They calmed my nerves and made me feel as if I was actually important. My experience with Oak tree dental was nothing short of amazing. These people really care. In particular the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth and took my x-ray was really on it. Anyone who has taken x-rays at the dentist knows how uncomfortable it can be and she did everything she could to make me feel as comfortable as I can both during x-rays and while cleaning my teeth I apologize for not remembering her name. I'll be returning on the 18th to have some more work done I was really pleased and I'll definitely be a repeat customer. I want to also mention that if you need work done and you're scared of COVID-19 these people have a really good system in place. I was told to park my car and call the office once I arrive they then came out took my temperature and asked me a few questions in the regards to COVID-19. Once I was cleared to come inside they had plenty of hand sanitizer and everyone was wearing masks. Thank you guys for such an incredible experience. -Chris read more

As a Registered Nurse, I take Covid19 precautions very seriously in both my work and personal life. Dr. Riad and the entire team are doing an excellent job exceeding the CDC requirements established for Dental Offices. Do NOT put off your routine dental work. Wow... I don't even know where to begin. First off, my anxiety is at an all time high when it comes to dental work. I've had a few horrific experiences that basically traumatized me when it comes to going to the dentist. Root canals in particular throw me into extreme panic. After only two visits, I feel more comfortable than I've ever felt at a dental office. In my new patient paperwork, I stated that my anxiety was a level 10 when it comes to being nervous for dental work. I didn't expect everyone that I came in contact with to know that other than my Dentist. The dental assistants were aware also and they made sure that I was comfortable from the time that I walked in until the moment I left. Even during my cleaning, Randi made sure that I wasn't feeling any pain and that I was calm. After the cleaning, Dr. Riad came in to give me the news that I was dreading to hear... I needed another root canal. He reassured me that I would not lose another tooth, and that from here on out, they will be building not removing any teeth. I instantly felt relieved. Yesterday, I had the root canal, and I went from shaking in my seat to being completely calm in minutes. Dr. Riad and his assistant made sure that I was numb and went as slowly as I needed them to go to ensure that I was comfortable. I've NEVER felt more comfortable and safe with a dental practice in my entire life. From the dentist, dental assistants, and even the financial coordinator was just an overall wonderful experience. They were able to work with us financially which is also rare to find. Before the office closed, I received a phone call to check in on me and to see how I was doing. It wasn't from an assistant... it was Dr. Riad himself! That was the icing on the cake for me. Thats a dentist who truly cares about the well being of their patients. If I could rate higher than 5 stars... I definitely would. Me and my wife have officially found our permanent dental office. Thanks again to everyone at Oak Tree Dental! read more
