My husband felt like we were being judged and treated like we didnt have money. Then when she brings us our change she is standing there waiting for the tip. I am a server myself and never treat guest based on how they are dressed and much less wait for a tip.

I only saw the waitress when she dropped off the menu and took my order then when she delivered my order then when she brought the check. It was a lot of sitting there hoping her and the other larger girl would look up from their phones to bring me something. Tonight was much worse. Even after leaving a 30% to be nice last night I was completely ignored tonight and after 10 minutes went to the bar and asked for a menu. She never came back to take my order actually a guy from the back that brings food up saw I was being ignored and came up and asked what I wanted and 6 minutes later I had food. Then it was a 20 minute wait to get a check while they were busy yelling at guys across the lobby. While I'll stay at this hotel again I won't waste my time eating here again. The food was great, no issues with the food, the waitresses just don't care to serve people sitting at tables, just the guys sitting at the bar. Waste of my time and money.

I was waited on pretty quickly, I think the waiter was just waiting to see where I settled. My waiter Aaron was friendly and attentive, and *tried to suggest something. The problem was, there were too many things I wanted to try! I settled on the fried oysters with a side of cajun fries. The oysters had a delicious seasoning and were well cooked. My only complaint was I felt they had too much breading to appreciate the oyster inside. Again, the breading was delicious - just too much. You get about 10 oysters. The fries were well seasoned as well, and quite plentiful. For dessert I had the caramel banana pie. It looked delicious, but for me, it was just too over the top. For the expense, I certainly would not order again. Speaking of "expense", this place is more in the "medium" price range and not something I would go to on a regular basis for lunch. It was good, and definitely maybe more of a dinner spot. Nice change of pace kind of place!

Mmmm mmm mmmm, was it TASTY! Our server was very friendly and attentive without hovering, despite it not being too busy. We all ordered burgers which were MASSIVE (1/2 lb maybe?) and cooked over a char-broiler evidently, as they had that "flame broiled taste". I added cheese to mine while a fellow golfer added grilled onions to his. I believe they all came with lettuce, onion, tomato and dill pickle slices. Condiments were served on the side. The fries seemed to be made "in house" as they were not the typical frozen French fry but were tasty. I noted they also had a breakfast menu for those living nearby or starting their round earlier in the morning. I'd definitely stop in if we lived closer, but as it's a 25 mile trip... I'll settle for a meal after a round of golf.

Beginning of the night our first round they were out of one of the fireballs, no worries we got a different shot and moved on. As the bar got busier the person who had been helping us stopped coming round to check on us, again understandable. What was not acceptable was when they did come round and we tried to order more drinks or food they told us to go to the bar to order as they had to get back after just coming out. And then when we did they told us they won't make one of the drinks "because it would take too long". While I do understand it was busy never have I heard a bartender refuse to make a drink because it would take too long. Will probably not be coming back.
